five years, no trade bonus Morrigan felt more and more like herself as they days passed since the birth of her children. In some ways she felt even stronger than she had before and the weight of the crown did not weigh as heavily. Cassandra had bloomed and blossomed in her position, after all, so any misgivings Morrigan might have had in her own abilities were soothed by Cassandra’s softer nature. The scent of prey had pulled Morrigan from the entrance to her den momentarily, knowing she would need to eat soon especially since they’d had not great luck of late. She chuffed for anyone who might join her since she clearly didn’t do great on her own.

She had been meandering along the borders, having stopped by her mother’s den earlier in the day to check on her and the cubs. The yearling had been trying to make up for missing Arden, Nienna, Renly and Tormund’s younger days by being there for her next group of younger siblings. Planning the festival for the Cove, Lagoon and Brook had been taking up her mind as well, what with trying to figure out what all to do during the festival.

So when she heard @Morrigan’s soft chuffs, Cassandra made her way in the direction of her mother. The scent of prey washed over her as she got closer. Falling in at her mother’s shoulder, the yearling would be ready to help her mother with this hunt. The pride could use some fresh prey in the cache, especially with four new mouths to feed with her new younger sisters and brother.

2 years, no bonus

Colorless paws carried the newly aged man through the cove's wet sand from the current rain that irrigated their home in a freshness. Scaring away the heat and bringing a relief to his pink skin, which always suffered from the sun, more than others. With the dark clouds covering the merciless sun, he had a window to be able to join in the hunt, a hunt he was quick to go, wanting to help now that the sun was taken off the picture. There he only saw @Morrigan and @Cassandra. But no one else. His expression hardened, with a clear frown on his alginitic features. Why no one else was here to help? He couldnt understand that. But well, hoping more would come he placed himself there, ready to help as much as he could.

with her strength renewed, her wounds healed, and her time in the cove coming to a regrettable close, nymeria knew that she wanted to give what she could to the pride during, what she assumed to be, her final few days. thankfully for her, the sound of a chuff reached her ears and not far behind it was the wafting, tantalizing scent of prey -- meaning that, hopefully, today, the caladans would go to sleep with full bellies and high spirits. as was much deserved by the pride that had given so much, and asked for so little in return.

slipping across the familiar terrain of the sands, nymeria found herself joining into the fringes of the hunting party, her senses sharp as she casted a brief, sweeping glance across the faces of @Morrigan, @Cassandra, and @samson. together, she had little doubt that they would be successful here today -- for, as always, the druid remained in high spirits, the best that she could.

The call for prey alerted the silver lion and they stretched their way out of their alcove den. It was difficult to smell anything in the rainstorm and, actually, Parvati wasn't sure which direction the call had come from in the first place. They didn't want to ruin things by having their scent approach from the wrong direction. Parvati rubbed one sleek grey side against the cliff rock, and scrubbed the other against the sodden sands. That should make them smell more like Cove and less like lion. They also made for the vegetation shore line before searching along its length. The rain in the grass would hopefully make their silver pelt look like a walking rain cloud, or perhaps an innocent boulder. They spotted two lost addax and waited. They must have gotten lost in the weather too.

Morrigan was already soaked through and dripping from long black and white fur as she waited for the others to arrive, knowing these particular creatures would probably be too nimble for her large form. Thankfully backup arrived in the plenty this time, @Nymeria included. It was nice at least to still have a master hunter while Ava was gone. When the hunt was successfully over with, Morrigan tore off her own chunk, knowing she still needed to feed the youngest of Caladan's members before settling down to enjoy the meal with her members. @Sanson, @Cassandra, and @Parvati were there, loyal and dutiful as always, but plenty for the two hooved creatures. "Well done, everyone." exit morrigan

nostalgic as always, it felt somewhat odd to nymeria to be partaking in a pride hunt somewhere other than vermeda brook. it was not an inherently bad feeling, but it was strange, and stirred some sort of distant, poignant longing within her chest. nonetheless, however, the valour would move in unison with the rest of the caladans, limbs propelling her forward in pursuit of the prey, until the carcasses laid splayed at their feet. her chest heaved in a moment of adrenaline and fatigue, gaze casting itself around the surrounding group, before she rumbled out a series of soft, tender words. "eat up - i'll help move whatever is left back to the cache." she offered, tail giving a brief flicker, before the woman would settle on the sidelines and wait for the others to take their fill. exit.

Winning or not, Caladan Cove or the few that came to aid were ready to give it all for this meal. Claws and muscles ready, Sanson was about to spring forward only when the leaders said so. And like that they began the improvised hunt. It wasnt common to see prey coming their way instead of the lions doing that first. There was no reason to pass this chance. And like that he and the rest worked together to bring it down, the two addaxes. Small but would feed those who needed them the most. He was a gentleman, he was happy to donate his part to the youth or anyone else. "Thanks for the hunt, but I would like to give my piece to those who need it." And like that he would turn away and walk towards his den, hopping to scape the day's heat until night. exit Sanson
