Amara's annoyance with everything peeked and the black lioness was done with the number of others that were lingering. Get out. She said to the remaining ones. It was sharp but no more than she had heard over new leaders use. This was their family home now and there was plenty to do already. She growled lowly to herself as the red male spoke toward her. She hated the laws of the lands here and the way that males just assumed that they were better. The sooner they learned, the better. She gave one last quick look to those leaving before she turned to leave herself and get things taken care of. exit

As @Hanneth addressed both he and Nymeria, his gaze settled to the pink lion that she referenced and wondered why the lines had gotten crossed. What reason had they to attack Roan (do I know @Roan?) or Ecrosia at all? Though just as soon as he had asked a male came to sit down near to them and while it didn't answer his own self-thought, he wondered if this was the individual that had been spoken about. The incoming presence of @Soren was a welcome one as he took to find the male's choice to sit beside him warming. Perhaps even flattering, offering a quick smile to show that he was thankful for the other's attendance. It is a mess, indeed. But Amaryllis was surely known for having quite the number of messy situations as of late.

The fight ended and not pleasantly, he might have added. Zoticus had fallen and left a stranger in its midst, leaving the neighbors of the Brook under a careful watch no doubt. Gareth lifted himself to stand so that he would follow @Nymeria out without wait. Just like his white counterpart, however, Gareth could not help the thrum of activity in his breast at the chance to find a reason to fight. To put up paws with another for the sake of peace and continued prosperity but today would not be that day and so he ignored that roaring thrum. Their haphazard loaf shape did not protect them from stirrings of violence. The snarls and blood were expected but the exchange of insults were assuredly not, and Parvati wholly believed that this challenge would end in death as well. Their ears flicked back against their skull such that their sky blotch could not be seen. As soon as the victor was clear, angry fights and challenges rung out. Including one from their queen. Parvati did not fight and did not want to watch, remembering the bloodshed in the jungle flashing before their eyes again. No, no matter what the justification, they could not remain. They stiffly unloafed and crept away, deciding to wait for the wounded back at the Cove.

All he knew in these moments was to stay strong, still and silent but also to watch and be as observant as he could be. Putting himself beside the Bezra sisters he was content to do just that. To watch out for them just as he would watch out for @Cassine. Vermier was victorious this time around as he took Wolfbron Bluffs from the paws of another, though it was his eyes that fell upon @Echo and @Beelzebub that concerned him the most. The two rose to gather their sisters and depart, knowing that she was still in the Lagoon and needed more. Needed out and even without realizing, he knew that that was his goal. The only goal he had in mind was to make sure that they weren't where they didn't want to be. Neither of the lioness' looked to him for security or support but he didn't believe they really needed it from him as they had it in each other. So as they picked themselves up to depart, Mithros began his walk into the Bluffs to formulate his path to getting what he wanted. exit mithros.

Morrigan lingered to be sure there was no trailing violence, though this time the bloodshed did not break out quite as it had before. It was clear that this Vermier would not simply allow those who wished to walk free, regardless of the force that stood before him. Her face was grim as she watched her allies depart, knowing several would return and force the subject of freedom on Vermier since he hadn't wished to do so now. There was a last glance at Amara, though. The Greyflood walked a strange line where that woman was concerned. Vermier? Morrigan definitely did not like him... but Amara was an enigma. Showing up too many places on the right side of things to make her an obvious enemy. The dark sovereign followed her pale sister from the Bluffs, wondering how long it would be before she returned. exit morrigan
