Leiá was looking for a flower, one that would be pretty enough to leave for Loíu. For every so often, perhaps once a month, she’d leave her part of the jungle to look for a special flower, the plant itself was called an orchid and in Leiá’s opinion, very beautiful. When her brother had been alive and she was a cub, he’d often find and bring her one because of how fond she was of them.

Now she looks for the plant to leave for him, not for his eyes to see, but to be left as a token of remembrance. For now she was alive and living, and Loíu was gone.

Lorant prowled through the cover of the jungle, attempting to become as familiar with the land as he had been with his past homes. Already he noted that the air was even more humid than he was accustomed to previously and that the trees had a slippery coating of moss. He leaped down from the branches with a thud against the mud below, attention honing in on a dark outcropping of rocks to inspect them. He flicked his tail lowly behind him as he walked, the direction of the wind keeping him yet unaware of his present company. He narrowed his gaze and took in a studious breath.

Her search for an orchid, was so far unsuccessful. Like, very much so. She’d failed to find a single plant even similar to it. She knew they grew here- so why couldn’t she find any! Just typical! Leiá let out a huff of frustration when she caught the sound of someone else making a similar sound, she spun on her paws, and looked in the distance to see some sort of small maneless lion type animal- a leopard. Curiously she looked at it, taking in it’s features.

The leopard was a strange stranger, that was for sure.

He approached the rocks with utter focus, able to take in faint scents of a family of hyenas. Lorant painted a picture in his mind of them hiding in this makeshift cave for shelter during an especially rainy day, leaving their scents now worn and faded. He approached the mouth of the entrance to inspect it and was immediately disturbed by the sound of a frustrated huff.

Whipping around on his heels, the cat puffed up his coat and attempted to face the potential threat with bared fangs of warning.

"Mi vagy te?" He questioned with a hiss, narrowing his gaze with scrutiny to try and make out what creature he was speaking with in the native language of leopards.
