a loud burp wakes diantha up. the burp was hers, as her dream had been explicitly about food and all the treats a young cub such as herself can dream up. this time, she's sandwiched between her two younger sisters, so she has to push and kick her way out. she's not sure 'bout victoria, but @Septima gets a particularly hard shove and a kick. when she manages to dislodge herself, diantha looks over her shoulder and blows raspberries at her two sisters. momma isn't here so she can pull all sorts of faces, before she crawl-runs her way out into the morning sun. she soaks the rays in for a few minutes, tail flagging at the wonderful feeling.

septima had been asleep, and had been enjoying her sleep very much. it wasn't anything extravagant, like @Diantha's dreams of food—and in fact, she couldn't remember anything at all of her dreams once she woke—but it was still infuriating when the moment of peace was shattered by a harsh jab into her ribs. the young cub rolled with the force of it, propelled by momentum and saved from injury by the sheer malleability of youth.

that didn't mean it didn't hurt though, and tima scowls at her bigger sister with the fury of a thousand suns. instinctively, she raised her voice to mewl and complain, " muuuum, daaaaad, di's bulling again, " sniffling quietly, though her eyes remained clear and dry. but it seemed like mum had gone off for food or something, rude. it meant septima would probably have to settle this herself, and she hated that. vicky and di almost always seemed to win just because they were fatter, it wasn't fair.

huffing angrily, the baby stumbled to unsteady paws and stomped unceremoniously after her big sister, squinting at the bright light—and diantha basking in it. you think you get to enjoy? anything after ruining septima's sleep? with an angry yowl, the fluffy girl launched herself at diantha aiming to tackle her back and pin her into the dust. " you ruined booty sleeb! " she hisses, long fur fluffed up in fury.

diantha has to roll her eyes when she hears @Septima's whiny, screaming for momma and daddy when they are obviously not here. she fakes a retching sound in response, but doesn't say anything until she feels something fat and heavy drop on top of her. the elder sister manages to struggle onto her back, but that lets septima get a hold of her softer, jiggly belly. what booty slee'? you fat n ugly! diantha says, with too much confidence to feel like she's lying. in fact, diantha thinks the youngest is truly fat. she has so much fur that it's hard to wonder if she wasn't born with just fur. and that makes her fat, fat, fat. the fattest of them all. in retalation for septima's sneaky attack, diantha withdraws her claws and tries to wrap her forelimbs around her throat.
