Sanson was worried for his family, for his home as and stranger sought to take away Drakon's throne. Something he saw as a threat to his family's wellbeing, being taken by a complete stranger to him. He walked in with his eyes narrowing over the female who dared to threaten his home. He hopped and deeply knew Drakon would come victor, he had proven to be good if he managed to make his mother give him her rank of a leader.

Worried he sat down by @Hecuba's side if she allowed him to be there. He just wanted to protect his home. If he only were older he would step forward and fight but he wasn't an adult, and he didn't want to stand in the way and mess with this by not being fully experienced with fighting.

Alma grew used to the challenges at this point, being on Amaryliss for quite some time now made her grow familiar with this land's dynamics. Dynamics she didn't feel worried about at all, she herself was someone ready to fight, to fight for what she wanted, to let others know how she felt. And being a woman of action more than of dialoguing she always wished to send painful messages, to make them regret wronging her. And as she arrived, her eyes fell into the small woman's who called to challenge. If she wanted this let her be, and there she sat down. Wanting to watch how this would turn out for the female.

Feyre yawns and is ready to curl against Hecuba's paws when she sees a familiar lion. It's actually his stinky scent she smells first. Along with the old fanged lady, the ugly fat meanie, and this bully, Feyre can remember exactly what mean things they did to her and her fellow cubbin. Rather than curling against Not-mama's leg, Feyre puffs her chest out and raises her spine, hissing and spitting at @Gwyn. Don't mess with mama! I have my stick at my side! she says, trying her best to put on her brave girl face. Furthermore, she shakily walks toward him, before inching back to grab her trusty stick. She then proceeds to try to hit Gwyn on the leg with her stick, hoping it'll deter him from coming any closer. She has so many things to say, but they're all stuck inside her throat because of the stick.

Ragna was curious with how things were set in Amaryliss, and with a cold expression pasted in her two-toned face, she walked to where it seemed to be a place made to fight. She thought that from the smell of blood and the old stains of red that adorned part of the dust under her paws. Her white tail moving behind her in expectations. Notting her aunt @Úlla , she moved to sit by her side, wondering how would that tiny lioness do to claim and even keep her throne, from her pride . She was quite judgemental and she couldn't help it, she was always judging others and being harsh even without knowing the lion she was putting her criticism into, not even a pridemate was safe from her watchful eye. "I don't think she has what it takes to win, and even keep it , she seems weak to defend a pride." She said, not caring how offensive that sounded. She grew up to be honest, to say things as she saw them, others wishing to hear her or not.

When he'd ruled the mire, an inky black lioness had ruled the Cove. He had thought very little of her at the time, making allowances do to the small nature of his pride at the time. Gathering members had been near impossible and a enemy at the time would have done the mire no good. What happened to that lioness was not his concern. Females did not rule, and the fact that she was gone was proof enough to him that her sex was unfit. Another female seemed to think she could try, ah, her pelt sparked a memory. A broken thing, lost and alone in his mire. Not so broken anymore it seemed. Whom had mended her spirit, he wondered. For he'd never guessed the girl he'd met those months ago would challenge another for a pride. He hoped the male would show, if only to see her put back in her place. She had no business as a sovereign. ;; "speak"

Settling back into his family's pride life had been delightful. However it seemed he was about to have his little sunny paradise uprooted as someone, he didn't know who, had dared to challenge dad. He should have known, his ear had been itchy as of late. The colossal boy was not happy. In fact he was rather pissed off because he had just found his way back and now someone was trying to rip it all away. Picking up a piece of turquoise and hiding it beneath his tongue, he schools his features into neutrality. Except he wasn't completely successful. His eyes blazed, witchfire in his skull. How dare they?!

He and his home weren't far from the pit, and yet he is already late. Giant form proceeds to work his way to @Hecuba 's side, aiming to insert himself between @Sanson and his mother. Ahead he glared at the upstart challenging his dad, his gaze only for her. If looks could kill. He had no idea the girl was related to his dad, and nor did he see @Morrigan, He was too wrapped up in the family drama to notice her or really care. "How dare she mama?!" he queries, the question laced with venom and rhetorical.

dior sees zoticus enter and stands from her seat. however, before she can make her way over to his side as he'd gestured, circe takes it up. her signature grin makes its reappearance a simple wink tossed their way. she would stick near, coming up behind the ruling pair with blazing eyes peeled.

even at a challenge for another pride, things easily got thrown into chaos. her maw would remain closed as ears twitched to take in circe murmuring something. perhaps asking about the challenge. dior leaned in slightly to catch a response - wanting to know as much as possible about what was going on.

the beast had yet to know much about the inner workings of amaryllis' politics outside of wolfbron's current immediate threats. ears would remain perked as she monitored their surroundings closely. Viné was spotted among the crowd, and Dior would call to him, head tossing to welcome him over to sit next to her - should he like.

Dior had a weird feeling that Viné wasn't her biggest fan after finding out she was also married to Aarani. Hopefully he was either over it by now, or he'd get over it soon.

A pride challenge is always enough to pique Seneca's interest, and this one rings out from a female's voice. Much like Genya had, he suspects that this lioness will fail -- though he cannot pretend that it doesn't bring him great amusement to watch it happen. His stride is cool and comfortable as he makes his way towards the source of the noise, hardly able to miss the bustle of other bodies swarming in to watch the show; everyone truly does enjoy a good fight, even if they are not participating. Upon his arrival, the Miroslav quietly scans the area before he makes his way towards the lions of Wolfbron Bluffs, most of them hovering closely around @Zoticus. Seneca is hardly one to intrude where he isn't particularly needed, and instead meanders calmly to @Namara's side upon hearing her question, his gaze trained quietly upon the striped woman that has brought them all here. "She intends to take a pride from another," he explains, caring little that they haven't met before. He leans onto his haunches without fanfare, allowing his stare to sweep over the woman he has greeted in his own odd way, and then towards @Roseate beside her, before curiosity drives him to glance yet again at the tiny creature awaiting her fate below them.

Attention would be given to grey woman, smelling strongly of Caladan and so assuming she were apart of the pride. Whether or not he knew she were more than just a regular member he couldn't remember, but with how she bristled as she came into the scene made him think that she might've been. Eyes would glance back toward Avaneira before he noted @Aquila'a arrival, his one worded question causing for an eye roll "Don't even," the beast would retort, giving his King a grin. He would have to fill in his comrade with what had gone done between he and the ivory feline, but here wasn't the right time for that. It was as if his body knew the Bluffs ruler had come, muscles tensing and every nerve on his body feeling like static. His eyes would narrow upon the figure of @Zoticus, lips now pulling themselves into a thin line, tail tip flicking while his tail stayed limp between hind legs. "I'm keeping my eye on them." His voice would be spoken in a hushed manner so that only Aquila could hear him, motioning with his eyes towards the pink lion. He wasn't wanting to start another fight at a fight like these outsiders seemed to enjoy to do so much, but if the Oasis High Sovereign let out a battle cry he would be there til the very end. And then another presence that caused for his body to tense up, but for different reason. Valhalla should've known that @Morrigan would make an appearance; after all, Avaneira was her sister. The Noble would watch the Hollows lioness in observing silence, only to let out a breath when she spoke that one word. Explain. Explain what, exactly? How he urged her sister to take training from him? Explain how he got her too engulfed in her own rage that they collided only briefly, leaving her with a wounded face and almost crushed body? Or explain how they made up in more ways than one? "Uh..." he would begin, stalling to try to find the right words and coming up blank. "I think Ava will be able to explain better than me. I'm not good with words." And he didn't want to bring it up whilst many ears were around. He didn't need everyone to hear him airing out his dirty laundry. A face he hadn't seen since the passage would push her way into view, answering a question one of the many lions that had gathered since he arrived asked. He would watch @Arsynia with mild interest, keeping his lips pulled into their thin line once again as she asked her own question. Nope, he was not getting into this at all. He was here to support his... He didn't know whatthey were, if anything, but he did know that Avaneira was still his friend. "Avaneira is strong. I've taught her some things on how to use her size to her advantage, so hopefully that will be on her side today." He were speaking to the ones that were directly around him but he didn't try to hide his words, speaking in a loud and confident tone. 'Maua, please be on her side today.' He wasn't one that usually prayed, but it was as if he needed her to win just as much as she wanted to win.

it seemed as though there was a new surge of ambition spreading across the valley, one that would surely rock the tides and send its inhabitants in a vibrant flurry. nymeria moved with careful, light steps towards the sounds of the summons, slipping towards the pit with purpose and determination to her gait — and while she was not quite sure what she was walking into, the druid expected it to surprise her. for, if anythinf, she had come to expect the unexpected.

and oh, surprise her it did! there was already a gaggle of bodies present, including a group of figures that she instantly gravitated towards. with her heart fluttering at the sight of them, nymeria moved in the direction of @Gareth, @Aquila, @Valhalla, @Morrigan, and @Talisa with haste, noting the hovering presence of an unknown woman as she swallowed the last of the distance between them. the valour would look to plant a quick kiss upon her husband’s cheek as she settled in silently among them, her eyes slipping across the arena in a brief moment of contemplation and intruige. she did not recognize the bold, ivory challenger in the centre of it all, but it seemed as though valhalla did. perhaps a catch-up would be in order, once the dust had settled. .
