The tiny little duiker's didn't stand a chance against the might of the Hollow lions. The numbers, more or less, simply overwhelmed them entirely and they were brought down within a significant amount of time. Seven against two wasn't very fair, especially when the lions were the one's who knew this labyrinth of tunnels better than they did. Zulema hovered off to the side dramatically as the hunger for food was limited, thanks in part that the two duiker's would barely satiate her when on an empty stomach. the duiker were no match for the amass of lions. the two beings were taken down easily, perhaps even calling it overkill. none the less, the others would begin to disperse. she shoots @Elijah a look, having kept to the back of the party and avoided trouble. she would not risk them. not for a pride that could very well tackle most anything - they were irreplaceable. once it was done, she would take a piece for herself and eat. ravenous suddenly, she devoured it within minutes. it would only get worse. she was feeding more than one now. once that was over, she excused herself like the others.

The poor prey didn't stand a chance against such numbers, Mirasol assisted in a take down and once the prey was down tossing itself around fruitlessly she settled into eat her share. Minding to not be a pig, she ate until she was just satiated then seized some of the meat to store off in a cache that Magnus had shown her when she had joined. Tail tip twitching she looked around the group and moved to depart, she would stop if called but assumed she was in the clear to leave.

The hunt would commence when their target was identified. Two duiker would meet their unfortunate end at the hands of a majority of the pride itself. It really wasn't hard to expect such easy success given their numbers against such small prey. The fact that the prey was so small, though, worried Nadya a bit. Looking from the two fresh kills to the faces of those around her caused the Nikolov to wonder about their caches. Was there enough food for all of these lions as well as anyone who had not shown up to partake? Perhaps it wasn't her place to worry, though the thought still remained in the back of her mind. With the hunt over, the chocolate woman would offer her assistance in moving the kills to the nearest cache before taking her leave for a bit of grooming.

the tiny duikers were brought down with perfect ease, and zoya felt little exertion, if any. she was impressed at the numbers of lions that had shown up, at the exponential growth of the hollow. it had not been a large pride when she joined its ranks, and the change over the previous months had been remarkable. as the hunt came to a close, the assassin took a small mouthful of prey and devoured it. she was hungry but did not wish to take more than a fair share with so many mouths to feed. and so, with a green gaze sweeping over her comrades, she gave a tilt of her masked head in farewell before stalking off into the shadows. back to her lonesome ways.

It would seem as if they were cursed to endure small prey as of late. Frustrating, given the rapidly-approaching cold season. Still, at least it was not alone; the pair would be enough to keep at least a few bellies filled. It was not a wasted effort. So, withdrawing from the fray with bloodied maw, he would fix @Sidonie with a glance and nod of appreciation before shifting his attention amongst the rest of the group. They'd all done well. Magnus would assist as required, before retiring back to his quarters.
