Whatever it was that she had stumbled upon was certainly a sight to behold. The voices and shouting of other children had caused her to come running, eager for interaction and friendship. Yet the complete and total opposite is what she comes to find.

Two factions of cubs. And one idle adult. Evie examines the big man lounging above them all. He didn't seem distressed about the tension unfolding just below him. Curiously, her attention lowers to the groups of cubs, inching forward with a look mixed in both concern and amusement.

Back and forth her head moves, following the speakers as each takes a turn to throw insults. Well, it was clear a fight was ready to break out. The lack of seriousness of it all though leaves her giggling. If they were going to fight, then they should just hop to it!

Aureviel slips up next to @Vito, a grin full of playful mirth stretched across her face. She had no idea what some of the words being thrown around meant but she took in a breath and screamed, CHARRRRGE!!!

Evie bolts down toward the Veremdan cubs, tail high and her need for battle so unserious. To her, this was just another game. VANQUISH THE ENEMY!

Evie heads straight for a girl with a pale face. RAAHH!! Body seeking to collide with the other cub, to try and send them both tumbling. Her paw rises to take a swipe yet her claws remained sheathed. It was more an attempted half hearted punch than anything.

Like a shadow, the princess moved through the pit, searching for a scruffle. She was growing needy of sharpening her skills. The wish to claim a crown for herself had been growing on her, since she knew very well there were no chances she would be able to inherit her mother's kingdom, and that was fine but.. she wanted to one day follow on her steps, and if she had to claim another pride then be it. She was X'uekai much like the rest even if she wasnt by blood. Her calm expression change just a bit when sge spotted a huge amount of cubs reunited, from many places it seemed.Including Cassius spawn. She felt curious about this strange scene but she would rather not interact directly. Preferring to observe from the distance, using a few rocks to hide herself and watch without being spotted. The colossal princess didn't normally wander this far from the land, but she was growing a bit more explorative the older she got. She had heard the commotion beginning as she followed some of the other cubs from the Hollows, and it piqued her interest a bit. She looked more masculine that feminine if one were to look at her, what with her mane starting to sprout on her head.

Her tail flicked behind her as she watched the chaos and listened to some of the others interacting. Her ears pushed back as she heard harsh words from one of the boys smelling of the Brook (@Ashland) towards someone else. Stepping forward, Lissa aimed to make her presence known as she stood alongside the others (@Vito and @arlo). "Perhaps you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. How do you know that the ones you speak to aren't also royal?" She said, her voice calm as she spoke.

He… WHAT!? Lyla let out a growl at @Kincade as he said vulgar words about her mother. She felt briefly the touch of her sister against her shoulder as @Barilla urged her away, reminding her she should not be there.

But he’d insulted mama! "did you hear him Barilla? Can you believe it!" she huffed at the audacity as she spoke in quiet tones directed only at her sister before screaming back at the other cub, "Yeah well your moms already a bitch!" she didn’t know exactly what that was, but she screamed it at him with a volume she’d only be half surprised if both their mothers didn’t hear her from across Amaryllis.

Her eyes shot from one cub to the next as they flocked to the pit. She didn’t even know there were this many cubs, and it was kinda weird they were all here but whatever.

As @Vito slid up next to her to.. defend her honor and called her a lady? She took an instant liking to him, about to come up with a really smart reply when it seemed the “royals” all appeared to become involved too. She didn’t know about all that, she was just a regular Huntsong not some princess (though she did like the ring of being called a lady.)

Then there was the appearance of @Aureviel a complete stranger but a girl Lyla suddenly decided she needed to make her new best friend after they were done there. As the girl screamed for the charge Lyla sprang- needed no more than the little nudge given to throw herself head first towards Kincade, the boy who’d dared insult her mother!

stay away from her. for anyone that knew cassius x'uekai, they might find the glint that enters caydin's eyes to look oddly familiar. it sounds oddly like a threat and with that way the girl steps in front of @Kincade's target, caydin is immediately bristling. "or what?" he sneers, picking his way down the rock as @Kamaria appears at their sides. "the plan?" there hadn't been a plan. at least not until about five seconds ago. "beat the shit out of them." his eager grin is all teeth as he leaves kamaria to stalk closer to @Barilla.

"what if i don't want to stay away?" he was fully instigating at this point, but his attention never once turns to @Lyla. "if you want us to be scared of you, you're doing a pretty shit job." though to be fair, if caydin wasn't scared of their matriarch, he certainly wasn't scared of some pipsqueak on the playground. "fine, i'll leave her alone. you'll probably be easier to beat up anyway. you shouldn't have been stupid and come out here all alone." caydin, never the subtle one amongst the brothers. he calls out for the children of vermeda then, beckoning for them to come join the chaos if they so pleased.

all before pouncing, paws outstretched as caydin aims to slam into barilla's shoulder. the boy tries to slam a forepaw right into her eye, hoping to give the girl a black eye that would hopefully serve as proof of her stupidity for weeks to come. caydin other forepaw tries to push down right between her shoulder blades, attempting to force barilla off balance through the sudden attempted impact.

it was the noise that caught his attention. ok so he probably wasn’t supposed to be THIS far from home, but he snuck away and.. well… he’d deal with that later. Volk was determined to find his way to the Mire first off, but then he got sidetracked. pulled in by the commotion of however many scuffles had already erupted. he didn’t hear much of what was said but strode on to the scene as if he knew absolutely everything and all of it was beneath him. that charming little princely swagger that was bound to ruffle a few feathers. which was exactly the plan. but just in case they didn’t notice he puffed up his chest and touted “who’s ready’n lose?” looking for a target amongst the fray and not caring much about who he may or may not be “allied” with. all that stuff didn’t much matter to him. — looking for a fight!

For once, her brother speaks to her, though it is in passing, she looks at him, a bit shocked, then she glanced at the other cubs that seemed to slowly be filing in, her icy gaze shining under furrowed brows, and then... CHAAAARGE She is able to catch the playful grin on the girls lips as she charges Kamaria, and she says a soft thanks to whatever was out there, because she didn't want to just senselessly bully others, and the playfulness of the girl was a sign she didn't want to hurt Kamaria either. She sees the cub launch for her and she attempts to rise to her hind legs in a half sit while her front paws sought to hold the other cub, so that when they fell back, they wouldn't roll into anyone else, but just as they are sent through the air, she feels a paw smack out at her, no claws, another sign this girl wanted nothing more than a romp. And a romp she would get! She hadn't intended to wander so far from the Bluffs, but it was the inevitable pull of curiosity that had ensnared the cat; and the loud commotion only served as further lure. There were many cubs here, some around her age, while others were older and far bigger. It was the most she had ever seen in her life, given that only her and her brothers seemed to be the only children in Wolfbron at the moment. They were always together, and she feels a slight uncertainty without them beside her, but it does not stop her approach. It only makes her back straighten, her chin held up higher as tiny paws take her down the rocks towards the gathering. Her father is here, her intuitive stare having already spotted him guarding the spectacle about to happen; and the cause for the tightening of her nerves. @Cassius ♔ was familiar and not in the same breath, her time spent more with maman as his was with her brothers. Maman had always told her nothing about boys mattered including their opinions, but still, there was a little notion at the back of her mind that wanted it regardless, that acknowledgement that every child craves.

She cleared the last of the rocks with a light hop, landing as gracefully as she could manage upon the hot earth, and it was there she found herself amidst chaos. Fighting had begun in earnest, and the air was thick with tension and violence; of the tiny kind. She caught movement out of the corner of her eye, and her attention turned to @Volkov, habitually unimpressed with audacious swagger. What if you lose? She cooed, her voice edged with daring and challenge.

He follows his sister into the throng of cubs, all bandying around insults and taunts like candy at a carnival. Ears are flat on his head as beeswax eyes flit over the crowd; the roar of their collective bickering rising to a blaring and unbearable crescendo. He's not surprised when his sister enters into the fray, boldly confronting the silver cub who seems to have asserted control of the place, among others. @Akasha, He lingers a cub's length behind his sister, the muscles in his small body poising for the violence that's to come. As much as he savors the comfort and privileges of his snow-clad home, unrest does begin to chip away at him. He can only suffer being confined to a crowded den for so long, and so he paddles clumsily after his brother, covertly following his scent into the pit. He observes as @Volkov parks his girth into the pint-sized warzone and proclaims his superiority, riveted by his brother's confidence and complete lack of inhibition. A girl confronts his elder brother, and he instinctively breaks his cover to yell at his sibling, seemingly stoked for some action, because how dare she. get her, volkov!
