Aphrodite had given those that had stayed a few days after the meeting. But now she wanted to learn more about those that had stayed, that had chosen to not leave and perhaps given them a chance. Though she wasn't sure if they were giving her and Miaran a chance or if it was just one or the other. Regardless, Aphrodite wanted to speak to each of them individually and the first she would seek out was the one who wasn't entirely sure about their skills. After first she had thought about searching for @Neeha but instead, Aphrodite would call out for the girl and wait for her in the meeting grounds. She'd sit there wanting to put off a friendly vibe. She wanted to start these greetings off on peaceful grounds.

Otter hadn't forgotten the words of the dark queen during the meeting and was waiting to be summoned. As much as she could have gone looking for @Aphrodite the newly appointed baron had decided it would be better to let the queen choose the time.

So when the call for her reached her ears she didn't hesitate to make the trip to the meeting grounds.

Arriving she dipped her head to the queen as she approached "Queen Aphrodite" she greeted the other lioness. The dark queen seemed friendly in her posture and Otter despite wanting to remain standing took a seat as well. The ashen high queen had not been one for formalities and Otter hoped the dark queen was of a similar mindset so she would not take offense to the baron taking a seat before her.

Otter (@Neeha) soon arrived and Aphrodite would give the young girl a smile. Please, just Aphrodite. We are equals in these lands. She would explain as she took notice of the girl sitting down too. She was fine with that of course but now it was the reason she was called here. How are you doing with your new rank? She had given Otter the rank in hopes to help the girl grow and thrive within the Cove. It was something she could offer Otter but Aphrodite wanted to do more than just help her grow socially. She wanted to help with Otter's skills as well, if the younger lioness would allow her to help.

Otter would nod her head at the dark queen's words an apologetic smile playing on her lips. She'd remember not to talk to the queen so formally in the future.

"I'm not sure" she offers honestly as the dark queen asks how she faired in her new rank. "I'm not sure what is expected of me as baron" she offers shifting her paws slightly "Other than learning of the world and building skills what should I do as your Baron?" she asks looking to @Aphrodite with a questioning gaze. What role was she to fill? Should she be patrolling the borders, starting hunts? recruiting?

Aphrodite knew that Otter (@Neeha) probably didn't know the role that she would play as Baron and that was perfectly fine. It was the reason why Aphrodite had given her that role. That is perfectly fine. She would muse, smiling at the girl before her. Pushing herself up to a standing position she would motion for Otter to follow her towards the borders. Surely the new Baron knew the length of the pride borders. One of the main things I'd like for you to do is to patrol our borders. Make sure there are no intruders crossing or if someone has come to the borders calling for someone, feel free to answer even if myself or Miaran has showed up afterwards. She would state, You can learn a lot from the visits and politics. She would muse, chuckling to herself. Violet jewels glanced around the pride territory as she walked. There are other things you can do too. You can start hunts and help Milano with them. Or if you are something interesting you want to teach any of us you can hold events, I won't expect you to hold events though until you've gotten better at your skills. She would admit, glancing to Otter as she paused. Otherwise, you can focus on anything personal you have going on. And if there are any questions that I can help you with or teach you please don't hesitate to ask me.

She did, the borders were well known to her as she followed the dark queen towards the edge of Caladan's territory.

As they walk @Aphrodite would give her much information. What she expected, and could do but also a name. Milano, from what the dark queen had said Neeha assumed them to be a hunter. "I can do that" she finally answers after the woman has spoken, she could do those things. Keeping track of the borders and greeting visitors was not a new task neither was aiding in hunts. She could do both, would do both. However, a question stands in her mind "Must events be for training?" she asks looking to the dark queen trying to speed up to walk beside her before stopping as she does so. "Can't they be for fun as well?" perhaps a childish question but Otter found it terribly boring and dull that one could only do work at these events. Why not have fun or relax together?

"There is another thing" she adds flicking her folded ears as she for a moment debates continuing with her question. But she wants to, needs to. It would make things easier and harder all at the same time. "At the meeting, you said you could help that pale girl with herbs. Could you teach me as well?" about herbs the ones that didn't heal. In truth, she already knew a lot but to ask for it like this seemed safer than revealing what she truly knew. "I've always observed events around the valley, trying to stay out of the way so I would not get attacked or dragged into trouble." she speaks looking at the dark queen and trying to read her reaction. "I think I wanna keep doing that as well, it could be helpful"

@Neeha listened and gave questions where she needed them. That was something Aphrodite could admire about the young girl. No, they don't have to be training all of the time. She would state giving a small smile, We all deserve some relaxation at times. She would continue. As they walked, Aphrodite would wait for anything else to be said. There was nothing else that she could think of to say so she had no reason to say anything else but to listen and see what Neeha had to say.

Ears twisted on top of her head as Neeha began to speak again, asking about plants and Aphrodite would glance over towards the girl. Yes I can teach you. She would nod her head, still listening to what Neeha had to say. Being patient through it all. That is a good idea. Continue doing that and report back to me what you see, even if I am there, maybe I missed something. She would state, watching her new Barony with interest. Anything else that I can help you with?

She smiles nodding her head as the queen confirms that events do not have to be all work but can be fun as well. This did sound more like something she would and could do. Maybe a beach party? Good food and relaxing by the beach? Sure sounded better than slaving away training combat or something similar.

@Aphrodite Offers to teach her and Otter bows her head respectfully to the queen "Thank you" she replies a grateful smile on her lips. This sowled one issue at least, and it would allow her to start working on her garden again without too many questions being posed.

Another confirmation is followed by another dutiful nod of the baron's head before she shakes it at the queen's question. "I don't think so" she replies "Not right now at least, but I'll be ready for any lessons on plants when you are" she offers leaving it for the queen to choose the time and space for plant knowledge. She was after all a queen and bound to be busy with royal duties and stuff.

Then she'd take a step back and bow to the queen again "I'll take my leave, thank you for your guidance Aphrodite" her tone of voice was somewhat formal even if she had not called the dark woman queen. She'd wait for a moment, in case Aphrodite had more to say before taking her leave and heading towards the beaches. Guess the first task on her agenda as Baron was figuring out what kinda of events she could host.

The confirmation that Aphrodute gave to Otter seemed to be helpful and Aphrodite would give the new Baron a smile. There wasn't much else to say but Aphrodite would listen to what Otter had to say and would nod her head. Give me a few days and I'll come looking for you. She would state. She wanted to restock her own stash before showing it off to others. She had been practicing with them in the background since her arrival to the Cove and some of her plants had been demolished nearly due to her practice. But when the conversation came to an end and Otter took her leave, Aphrodite would nod and end up leaving herself.
