These Dieudonné branch from Angelus Dieudonné and his late mate, Mavra - the one who came before Banshee De'vil.

I have three slots available for adoption that are related to my character, Victorine. 2 of them I would love to be part of a triplet group with her! The rest can be older or younger siblings, relatives, father, etc. Her story is that her father was Dieudonné and when their mother born them, she became weak - and before the cubs were weaned, he slayed her and the children fed on the corpse for sustenance.

An important thing to note is that if you adopt one of these characters, you should be on Yellow PVP at minimum and ready for maims, death and more.

ALSO, please note: this branch of the family is going to be very traditionalist.

Surname — Dieudonné ( only if they have killed another lion and earned it; no surname if not )
Physical Traits — brown fur, red/blue/orange/yellow eyes, seal points (dark ears, dark socks, dark unders ); fairly simple in looks. this branch can also have long fangs or claws. Medium sizes were most common

You may also apply/plot with those creating Dieudonné to play mates and/or betrotheds!
Betrothals were not wildly common, but were practiced with Azinore's children and, specifically, Pythius' first litter. It's usually done once they earn their name and prove themselves worthwhile Dieudonné and not as cubs.

family laws
01. Dieudonné are strictly Matriarchal, females are to be respected and practically worshiped; failure to do this can end in death or punishment.
02. Dieudonné are not born with their surname, they must earn it as they grow. This is usually done by killing or eating another lion.
03. Dieudonné mate for life. More than one mate can result in sterilization. The only exception is if a lifemate perishes in some manner.
04. Everyone answers to the Matriarch, and there is always to be a Matriarch.
05. The Matriarch is usually a birthright passed down from the original to her ancestors, though the title can be challenged for.
06. If the Matriarch loses said challenge, she must give up her life to be consumed by the new Matriarch and the family.
07. Cannibalism is the preferred method of sustenance.
08. Family affairs are meant for family, not outsiders.
09. Incest is strictly forbidden.
10. Breaking of any rule often results in a death sentence.

ÉTIENNE DIEUDONNÉ 5 years old - older brother? thank you RDG! colossal sized with an athletic build. he is dark brown, with darker extremities. his coal-colored mane fades away to burgundy at the chest and belly. deep teal eyes, reminiscent of a tempestuous sea. exceptionally long claws. hot boy coming through more to come ! role: the informant. likely a sleuth/ambassador. knows his place and is content in it. he has no interest in personal gain or glory -- only the strengthening of his family. he serves and he serves well. an obedient hound, he patiently waits for the order before striking. except when commanded to be, he is neither chaotic nor violent, but polite and quietly observant. servile in the company of Dieudonné women; remains courteous to lionesses who do not share his blood -- however, he does not physically hunger for them and would prefer a political union arranged by the Matriarch, as he lacks the spark to ignite one of carnal passion (asexual, but not aromantic). nor does he ravenously crave and worship the flesh of his own kind -- but it is undoubtedly his preferred choice of sustenance. overall, a very steady mind that was forged by the strict tempering of his family. potential idea ... he and his younger brother were the eldest children. they were raised to know and obey family laws; however, it was only when victorine and her sisters were born that the boys' loyalty and discipline was truly tested. valérian submitted -- his brother would not. on the same day his sisters were delivered, valérian slew his littermate for his insubordination, and thus earned his name.

A creature of careful breeding and molding of traits. Nature and nurture come together to make the spiteful thing that is Victorine. She is hostile, but not explosive. Saccharine insults slide from a sharpened tongue. Arrogant and careless about potential consequences. Accustomed to being obeyed though she is no Matriarch ( and has no real want for the title ). Ambitious and driven, as is right and expected of the women of the family, with a no-nonsense tolerance. Perfectionist - nothing is worth doing if it is not exact. Loathes when her plans go awry and can be quite temperamental when they do. Redirected aggression onto whoever is most accessible ( read: the men of the family ) for the instant gratification, though she can play the long game and be patient if she must. Tactician's mind. Charismatic in her own way; though perhaps enticing is more like it. Taunts and teases with no intent to follow through. A traditionalist, holding steadfast to her family's laws. Violence for violence's sake, everything is handled with bloodletting. Physical.

Nael is an extremely gifted combatant, one of the strongest fighters that anyone could know (the best, if you were to ask him). He wants to be known as a gifted fighter, primarily his quick reflexes and combat intelligence. He may be large, but he is quick on his paws and is not above fighting dirty to gain the upper hand. Despite his size he also has an uncanny ability at climbing trees, though that is not something he makes a habit of doing. He wouldn't even mind taking on an apprentice or two should the situation or need arise. There is a joy that he gets out of it, being able to be idolized by a weakling and molding them into the perfect mini me. But What does anyone want, really? Well, Nael has known all his life that he was destined for greatness, it is only a matter of proving it to everyone else. He craves the title of Sovereign more than anything else, and believes wholeheartedly, that one day, it will happen. He will do whatever it takes for it to happen. Whatever that may be.

If there will ever be something Nael wants, he will get it, no matter what the cost is to him or anyone else. He doesn't care, he will make it happen. Whether it is traumatizing his own family, or making an example out of others that cross him, Nael will do it. Nael will feel like whatever dirty deeds he does will not matter, as they were destined to happen that way. Anything else would impede on his destiny to become a ruler; something he feels will happen one day. And of course He likes to feel powerful, and in control, otherwise, he will push and bully others into submission. He is the personification of gaslight, gatekeep, and mansplain. He will lie, cheat, steal, do whatever it takes to make himself happy. Some of his family will easily see through his façade, though many are completely ignorant to just how fake Nael can really be. Despite all of this, despite his undying need for power, Nael will be a hound trained to heel alongside the women in his family. He is theirs to command, and any wish of theirs will easily be granted as soon as he is unleashed. For there is no deed that would be too great for him to accomplish for them.

Despite his combat prowess and upper body strength, Nael's other skills, such as hunting, are rather, Adequate. He isn't a bad hunter by any means, but he isn't anything special either. His actual tracking ability is nothing to write home about either. He is however, an incredibly poor swimmer, and due to his stature is very dense. He basically would sink like a lead weight, and he knows it. Because of this, he avoids getting too far into the water as much as he can help it. But because of his inability to really swim, Nael is terrified of drowning. It's his only real fear, and he has never divulged that secret to anyone, and likely never will.

Borne alongside her siblings Victorine and [INSERT], Étoile has found herself fighting since birth. She has that very typical youngest child syndrome, read: she can and will throw the biggest tantrums when the smallest things don't go her way. Entitled, whiny, petulant, and volatile, Étoile has inherited all of the worst Dieudonné traits with none of the charm or natural leadership that at least makes the violence and pettiness halfway bearable.

Étoile's first kill has been the topic of much debate and ridicule, as the lion she slew was barely more than some raggedy elder that had pissed her off that day - certainly nothing to brag about and not even really worth eating, what with the lack of real fat and muscle. It is a sore spot for her, an extremely sore spot, and she is very liable to lash out if she believes the legitimacy of her name to be questioned. But if her very name is suspect... how Dieudonné can she truly be?

Personality
Protective - Wary - Devoted - Driven - Self-Critical - Restless

Day, after day, after day. Marilène strives to better herself, to become fiercer. She holds nothing but contempt in her heart for her shortcomings, and cannot help but to feel a pang of resentment for her worthier successors. She has yet to earn her surname, for with all of her attempts made throughout her life, not a single has succeeded. Daily is her struggle, as Marilène feels like a pathetic excuse of a Dieudonné. The woman is fiercely driven to honing her skills, to earning her name.

Jealousy is an emotion quick to boil in this lioness, yet she hides it well. A thin veil shields those around her from Marilène's true ugliness. Bitter emotions breed within, and fester greatly. She cannot help but to compare success around her with her own failures - she despises the winnings of others. Until she can earn herself a spot in the family, it will never be enough. Even so, if she manages to, Marilène knows it will never be enough. She needs to be first, needs to win.

Despite the beast which feeds within, she is deeply protective of her siblings. Marilène is tightly bonded with them, and would go to great lengths to protect them. Above all else, even her parents, her siblings are priority in her life. If something were to ever happen to even one of her siblings, Marilène would not know what to do with herself.

From an outside perspective, Marilène is cold and reserved. She has difficulty trusting those outside of Dieudonné blood, and even goes as far as to see them below her. They could never understand the hardships she had to overcome being born into this family, so why should she bother intermingling with them? However, this has made it extremely hard for Marilène to search for a mate - something she also resents. Maternal longing is the fire which burns deep within, and she pangs to have cubs to call her own. She yearns to have offspring to care for and watch grow - to love.

Fur lies flat over a deep span of muscles, and her fangs are built for the battle. The lioness, despite her dedication to getting dirty on the battlefield, spends a great deal of time maintaining her sleek pelt. Marilène cares for her fur like no other, and she hopes one day her beauty and strength will attract her soulmate.
