Raum, Spu, and I have had an idea for a while now for a plot that we'd like to throw into the water and see if anyone would be interested in. This IS a fatalistic plot, which means we're looking for someone to create a character that will end up being killed at some point. So if you're looking for a whirlwind drama-filled plot for a character that doesn't need to be around long term, this is the plot for you!

We had this idea that Ludi, Gauth, and Leo end up finding a rogue cub, or even a litter of rogue cubs, that they decide to raise in Firnen -- not as one of their own, but just as good. Pampered, living a life of luxury alongside the royal cubs, protected by the leaders. A good life, basically. But what they won't know is that they're being rasied to eventually be the sacrificial hunt for the Ludiertine cubs that decide to earn the Dieudonne name once they reach a year of age. Only then will this rogue cub find out the truth behind their 'adoption', and at this time they get hunted down, killed, and eaten by the Ludiertine cubs.

All three of us plan on giving threads and plots to you while the cub is growing up; we want to make this fun for you as well, even if the tragic ending for the cub is known OOCly! Depending on interest/applicant level, we're open to accepting multiple applications, which would all be siblings in a rogue litter found and brought in.

ADOPTION CLAUSE Because of the importance of this plot timeline-wise, these cubs will come with an adoption clause. If they fall inactive before the completion of this plot, we have permission to take the character back and re-adopt them out. As well, we ask that you don't kill said character off or otherwise majorly harm them before the end. Finally, if you choose to adopt a cub for this plot, you accept that they are being created with the intention of being killed; no one should save them at the end, nor should they somehow find out about their fate beforehand.

→  Their NAME & DESIGN are freeform! In fact you don't even have to include that in your application if you're unsure, or want to wait to see if your character will have any siblings first. You are more than welcome to includes vibes/moodboard/inspo instead.

→  A blurb about their PERSONALITY is required. Even if things might change through IC development, we just want to see what your vision for the cub is! Up until the finale, of course.

→  A short WRITING SAMPLE is welcome, but optional! It can help us get a better idea of the character you intend to create, but we aren't making it mandatory! Feel free to add anything else to your application as well, such as any ideas you might have for the cub that we could plot out with you.

Design/ Name: No idea yet, but i can come up with both super quick.

IDEA/ Personality Concept:

The Devotee. Forever thankful for the chance she's been given she is nothing short of devoted to those who have adopted her- Ludi, Gauth, and Leo. She dreams of growing up to cater to them, to be the most loyal hound a disciple who worships the very ground that they walk on, and dreams of being nothing more than a loyal solider for them. Willing to bow, bend, and cater to whatever needs they have of her and what she perceives. Adopted into a family and given a chance to live and now... she finds herself where all she can do for now is to bring flowers, and prey- even if that isn't the potential love language she's presented with. Though she dreams of being a warrior who they will one day send to fight wars for them- when she's old enough. Always under-paw, she is constantly present, and wanting to learn and do- completely unaware of the future coming hurtling towards her.

I would imagine when she is hunted, she will view it as a game, and when she is killed- well, I'd hope it's relatively heart wrenching betrayal and I wanna write that angst lol

Writing Sample:

She moved through the shadows of the jungle's foliage, her eyes intent on the small monkey who scampered along the branches before her. Every pawstep was as careful as a cub could be, as she walked forward in an almost perfect crouch- eyes on the prize.

They'd love this. A fresh monkey, who's fur could be taken from the body, and used as a pelt in the den- or just as a good meal and the kill would prove that she was learning- was... worthy of the time they put into hunting lessons. She's quiet, breathing softly- heart hammering in her chest, before she finally lunges forward.

The monkey scatters, and yet she is quick on the mark, and though the kill ends up being sloppy- it is done. She carries it with her head held high, a sense of pride filling her heart and body as she leaves in search of them- another thank you, another token.


I did just literally see this, and you're closing today, so i apologize for anything seeming rushed, and of course if this isn't what you want- don't worry -- I'm not fussed. I was just inspired! haha
