She had come to this place with the intentions of following her brother wherever he decided to go, but that grew tiresome after about ten minutes. Amour was an adventurous soul, and she didn't want to simply stay in one place. Her curiosity brought her to the Shoreline, her multifaceted silver eye glancing across the vast beach as her toes squished in the sand. It was warm here despite the chill of winter on her back and she found her paws moving before she even had a thought. The pink woman headed towards the water, anxious to sink her paws into the icy ocean. It had been so long since she'd actually seen the ocean, she'd forgotten how much she missed it. Her eye watched as the waves grew and grew and then crashed, the sound of it a loud echo in her ears. For the moment the woman was lost in watching the beauty of it.

He wasn't a fan of the shores - or at least, he never spent enough time at them to grow a fondness for the waters beyond. He was only near the shoreline because his travels had brought him to this edge, having left the Oasis in an attempt to find more numbers for his pride before Winter got too savage.

Oddly enough, it was warm at the shore, even with the winter chill overhead. His gaze narrowed slightly, and soon enough he caught his attention on a pink bundle of fur by the waters. Ears slowly swivel forward, observing her in the silence that their distance provided. He didn't see a tail, but he did see her unique stripes, laying on top of her like a blanket. She was alone... and the Saxe was far too tempted to pass on a opportunity like this one.

Shaking himself out, he then approaches with a casual stride, eyes disinterested in the ocean and far more intrigued by the woman herself. "You aren't planning to swim, are you?" He speaks, tone slightly amused at the idea - but he also hoped it was a no. Nothing about the winter ocean seemed inviting to him.

She is completely entranced by the raging ocean, tempted to sink her paws further into the icy water when a deep voice near her left nearly causes her to jump right out of her skin! You aren't planning to swim, are you? She turns fully so her only eye could land on him and immediately finds herself taking one step backward, if only to see the full extent of him. @Aeistrios was just as large as Zacharie, if not larger. She felt like an ant next to him, but easily the pink woman collects herself. Locking her one silver eye onto him she offers him a sheepish grin, "Non - zat would not be very smart." She replies to him nonchalantly before glancing back out at the water. It was tempting yes, but she wasn't stupid. It was far too cold to risk a swim.

"You like ze water?" She would ask him then, wondering what he was doing out here. She had a reason, to observe the ocean and become more familiar with this strange place she found herself in, but what was his? "Amour Bellefontaine, ravi de vous rencontrer monsieur." She would say politely then, delicate head dipping once in a small bow before she would stand back to her usual height once more.

He can tell he startles her, watching as she takes in his prescence - and a step back. His purple gaze flicks down to her retreating paws, and he wondered if he truly did look that intimidating. He still held fresh wounds on him, evidence of his recent fight for home; and scars littered him from past wars and battles.

However, her sheepish grin settled the thoughts in his head, her words responding to assure him her train of thought wasn't heading for the chilly sea. Thank god. He didn't want to even think about attempting to take a ice bath to impress a woman.

"Sometimes." He breathed out his response, eyes glancing back to the sea. "I like the watering hole - in Cleosia Fields. But the ocean? Eh.." A small shake of his head to dd for emphasis, unsure of the bigger bodies of water.

"Aeistrios Saxe. Ra-vei...da...vouis? Rencon-tr-er muneuar to you too." A laugh at the end of it, he had tried his best to give her greeting back, though lacking any talent in the language she spoke. He did like her accent, though - it went well with her. Perhaps made up for the missing eye that should of been sitting pretty upon her face. "You must like the water, hmm? Is there anything else you like?" Eating perhaps? Large purple men, maybe?

Sometimes. I like the watering hole - in Cleosia Fields. But the ocean? Eh..Aeistrios Saxe. Ra-vei...da...vouis? Rencon-tr-er muneuar to you too. Despite herself she laughs at his horrible attempt of french. "It means nice to meet you." She offers to him then so that he isn't completely lost in the language. You must like the water, hmm? Is there anything else you like? @Aeistrios was rather forward now wasn't he? But she didn't mind, in fact Amour could not remember the last time a man had given her attention like this. Perhaps she was starved of it, to be so willing to go along with it so easily. "Oui, I love ze water. Rain. Thunderstorms are my favorite." She says to him with a small grin before she circles back to what he had mentioned earlier. "Ze fields? Where is zat?" She asks him curiously, of course she wasn't very familiar with the terrain and this large purple man seemed to know his way around the place, something that she wouldn't mind using to her advantage.

The meaning of the phrase was given, and Aeistrios doubted he would ever try speaking it again. It was obvious her native tongue wasn't, and probably would never be, his skill. Instead, he focuses in on her responses to him, finding himself growing fond of the sound of her voice, and the way her accent only helped it sound so smooth.

"Thunderstorms? You watch them from afar though, like under something?" A bewildered look given to her - hoping she didn't lay out underneath the storms to admire them. Aeistrios would find it to be rather difficult to push himself to do that in order to impress her.

"I'd rather show you -- if you wouldn't mind me using up some of your time?" Aeistrios asks, large paws casually taking a few steps forward closer to her, now confirming she wasn't hostile and he had nothing to fear to need to keep distance. Not now, at least. "Are you new here, @Amour ? I have not seen such a beautiful face like yours around here before."

Thunderstorms? You watch them from afar though, like under something? She cannot help but chuckle at his question, it just depended on what mood she was in. "Sometimes." She lets his mind wander, Amour would never fear a storm. If anything it just showed the pure power that Mother Nature could exude. It only made Amour respect her even more. I'd rather show you -- if you wouldn't mind me using up some of your time? Are you new here, @Amour? I have not seen such a beautiful face like yours around here before. Again, the compliments catch her off guard. But she doesn't mind the flirting, although she couldn't help but feel like she was a bit rusty when it came to these sorts of interactions. "Oui.. my brother and I, we came here to explore." She offers to him before deciding to take him up on his offer, "I would like to see ze rest of zis place." She confirms, mirth glistening in her silver eye. "Vat about you? You live near here?" Amour would ask him next, wondering more and more about @Aeistrios as the time between them continued.

Sometimes, the word repeats in his mind as he mentally imagines @Amour laying underneath a thunderstorm, pink fur soaked while a disheveled appearance overtook her from the strong winds. It was... oddly stunning, what he imagined, and how she looked in his eyes.

"Brother?" A rise of his brow, head turning left and right while his gaze scouts about; hopefully this said brother was a bit far off, so that Aeistrios might not get chased away before he can even really get to know Amour. "Far from here, actually. I only came this far South for... a 'business' trip of sorts." He wondered what grand tale he might be able to spin to impress her, if she pried for more details. It excited him, fueled his veins with an eagerness at the idea of lying.

"I'm more North Western, where my pride resides." Hopefully, she didn't feel intimidated by those revelations.

Brother? @Aeistrios asks and she chuckles in response, "Oui.. he came to zis place also. He iz just as big as you." She muses, allowing her good eye to roam over his hulking frame for a few extra long seconds. Far from here, actually. I only came this far South for... a 'business' trip of sorts. I'm more North Western, where my pride resides. Her gaze would widen slightly, so he was a King then? Why did her palms suddenly feel clammy? Quickly she averts her gaze downward towards her paws, "My apologies. I did not realize you are a King." She is quick to offer in hopes that it would not offend him for speaking so brazenly prior to this. "Your pride.. iz it large?" She questions, still averting his gaze for the time being or at least until he requests the eye contact once more.

She notes that her brother was with her in these lands - and held a size similar to Aeistrios himself. A brow lifts, intrigued, and part of him wonders if her brother would be an issue, or perhaps an ally. Would he be pissed if he learns Aeistrios desired his sister? The idea amuses him enough to want to find out.

It seemed hearing he was King brought a swift apology from her, the singular eye he'd been staring in suddenly taken away and staring to the ground. Aeistrios huffs, disliking this. He aims to gently swat out one of his paws to the bottom of her chin, his goal to nudge the edge of her chin as a silent show to rise her gaze back up and to stop with her silly antics. Aeistrios didn't need her submission... not yet at least.

"It is getting there again, yes." He responds to her, and knows he ought to fill her in with details before questions began to pour. "My family and I have had to move lands a few times. Yet, each time an enemy takes us from our territory, I conquer another for us. I do not allow mine to go without for long." A true statement, one he proved he acted on as well. "Perhaps you and your brother might be interested in the Oasis? There are risks, to joining the Saxe, but the rewards..." He smiles then, face flooding with pride as he seems to swoon himself at the thought of glory and strength his family brought to Amaryllis. "... oh the rewards are worth it."
