These four little, and far from helpless, babies will be Wolfbron Bluffs Royalty. They will certainly not be the last litter, if you ask Apollinaire and Louve, but they will be looked after by their direct and extended family like they are.

the shadow

she does not speak much, not mute but selectively quiet. preferring to speak only to her family unless interactions force her to utilize her speech. a sleuth by nature, she is always hiding- always peering, always listening- a set of ears for her family and pride without fail.

she does not waver in her loyalty. she does not shrink from her bloodline. she is a solid as one's shadow at dusk. reliable, loyal.

the beserker

and then there is the blood. the frenzy, the desire to rip and tear into flesh and gorge, gorge, gorge. she is off when the first taste hits her, she is lost to the sensations of flesh and sinew. she is lost to the sweetness of the forbidden fruits.

the dagger

her secondary trade, the art of murder -- will be a weapon she wishes to utilize to help her family. where ever her matriarch pushes her, the dagger will plunge. without question, without fail. she will create aliases, and spin illusions, willing to lie, steal, and kill for all she holds dear.

There is a keen, manipulative and calculating mind behind those vibrant red eyes - and like a spider in waiting, Vedette will learn to strike when others are caught in her web.

Upon her first hunt will reveal her true nature. Any and all who witness will see the insanity lurking within her veins brought forth by the mere, single drop of that sanguine elixir they craved. It is instinct, natural. She will strive for perfect and find it with ease. Yet the madness will take hold, control will be lost and there will be nothing anyone can do to stop it.

As she ages, the meek, simpering child will mature into a confident, morbidly stunning creature. She will find beauty in violence, in darkness and in death. Affection, intimacy, such things will seem below her - and while she will never outwardly admit or seem to care for those that share her blood, it will be evident in her actions.

It is the utmost importance. The Matriarch will have a black widow at her disposal, forged from her own loins. A sinful creature of melancholy that will lure in others to their demise, done so with no remorse - no feeling. Simply a satisfaction of success. Ambition will burn in her veins, a secret wish to take after her Mother, though she knows the position of Matriarch will never be hers. Power can be obtained in many, many ways.

The Plan Ultimately I want Vedette to grow and with the things she experiences in life, but remain similar to what is written here. I see her only wanting to speak in French as a babe, finding more comfort in it than the common tongue. More than likely Vedette will develop into a demisexual woman; unaffectionate and having little to no interest in romance or reproduction. If she finds someone who is able to win her over, that, however will change and she'll dedicate her all to them.

The Companion I'd like for Vedette to have a small bat companion that rides either on her head often, or clings to her neck like a little necklace. Her name will be Amie, French for friend.

to some, a walking nightmare.

tiphaine carries her father's penchant for madness, wears it like a pearl necklace; something to be flaunted and displayed proudly. there is little room for the laws of others in her world, outside of those she was born among. she follows the lead of her elders by obligation, keen and observant. but the girl always thirsts for more. her own empire to bathe in blood, her own enemies to crush under paw.

while tied up in a pretty, fur-lined box, tiphaine is quite ugly on the inside. she thrives upon the fear and anguish of others, likes watching them despair in defeat. there is little mercy to be found in her. she wants to devour everyone in her path, to gorge herself on them. but just that would be no fun.

oh no, the lady's game isn't simply destruction and chaos - although that too is fun. she thrills in a game well played. cat and mouse, wolf and sheep. tiph will allow her toys to think they have her wrapped around their paw - she plays the part of an innocent girl well enough - but just as they grow comfortable is when the serpent's jaw locks on them.

lies, fabrications, stretches of the truth, these are her specialty. cheating and lying are her way of life, an impulse she feeds rather easily and without care. if it works in her favor, why bother? and should she get caught in her widow's web, she'll burn it to the ground herself - and everyone left in it.

a cleric in a loose sense, tiphaine aims to utilize her skill with the dead to curse those who would displease her. she aims to utilize the gods and any spirits for her ill will. and of course, the side effect of this would be the ability to resurrect her family members, should they fall.

A daughter of a chaotic family, Corbeau will lean more towards the chaotic neutral side in her youth - though she will have her tendacies courtesy of her father - and will have that standard hunger that hides within, eager to show others what it means to stand against the Dieudonne family. As she grows older, she will begin to learn more on the Neutral Evil/Chaotic Evil side of things. Poised and proper in public, Corbeau's darker sides only comes out when with her family - or in private with another. She is a beast that cannot be tamed, and knows that her brothers will always be beneath her. She adores all of her family - but idolizes Louve and Amara. After all, Louve is the Matriarch of the family - she's obviously the most powerful.

But she is not blind to where the family originated. She will thrive on her grandmother's teachings, and will always respect the star-flecked lioness. Innocent to a point as a small child, Corbeau will quickly learn that Dieudonne are powerful and what it means to be a member of that family. Innocence will last maybe a few months as she learns the world, but she will quickly become more and more vicious and wild. Often found with blood and dirt smeared on her pelt, Corbeau is a vicious beast starting from a young age.

Her father's blood runs hot through her veins, and as much as she is like her mother - her father also plays a part. As she grows older and engages in more and more scraps and fights, she will start to have some of that instanity that runs rampant on her father's side - though it tends to come out only in high-adrenaline situations. Her fights become more and more vicious as she grows older, and she will likely gain many scars and wounds due to her battle-hungry tendancy.

Despite the croon of insanity that dances at the mere edges of her mind, Corbeau holds onto her mind and likely will grow to be as cunning and honey-tongued as Louve. But poke the bear, and she is able to quickly flip that switch and turn from proper princess into untamed beast. Poke the bear, and reap the consequences.

In the art of romance, Corbeau will be like he rmother, flitting from lover to lover. She will leave a string of hearts behind her, and will not be content to settle down until she finds one who can handle her as she is - and will not shy away from that one being male or female. Obviously, males are simply beneath her, but she would entertain the idea of a male partner if he suited her. She would not be opposed to having a female as her mate, but she will choose a single mate in the end. For as promiscuious as she is when she comes of age, she will only give herself fully to a single lover in the end.

A large girl, who ends up with a slender but well-musculed form as she matures. Eyes the color of blood which she craves oh so much peer out from a nearly dark face - excluding one single splotch on her face. The patches on her frame are reminiscent of her mother, and the splotches on her stomache are a subtle callback to her grandfather Kieran. Her spine is dark, and it fades down her tail much like her father's - she bears his dark socks and face mask as well.

Though not quite long enough to be considering longer fangs, Corbeau's fangs are slightly longer than that of other lions' - a callback to the Dieudonne blood that courses through her veins. She will walk around with her claws out often. They will be kept pristinely sharp, and she will make a note to keep them clean and free of everything. While her appearance in public is of the uptmost importance, with her siblings and family she will willingly get as messy as possible. Often her chartreux coat will be covered in dirt and sometimes even blood, depending on what she's been up to.


She will no doubt gain many scars, getting into scraps as early as possible with anyone who dares to poke the bear, but for at least a little while her pelt will remain sleek, plush and unmarked. She is her mother's shadow, with the perfect touch of her father sprinkled in.

How far you are from your father's son. Born as strong and healthy as his siblings, with just a voracious an appetite. He appears the mirror image of his grandfather, perhaps a stray patch or two differentiating him from the ghost, the hint of crimson in his eyes as if bloodtouched. His birth is a prophecy, a belief that Kieran's soul had reincarnated into a grandchild that would further their legacy; but he is not beholden to it, and what is expected of all Dieudonné is expected of him as well.

As he grows, that initial, instinctual ferocity begins to fade. In the wake of his (potentially) more cunning, ambitious siblings, he falls remarkably flat.
