She is tired.

No one told her that battle would be so exhausting, no one had ever told her it would be like this.

Pain is the second thing she feels, just behind the exhaustion, a paired feeling. The wounds he left, the wounds he impacted. His teeth now find her growing mane, and suddenly he is using his massive weight to press her- to push her to the earth, and her knees buckle. As she begins to fall beneath his weight, she aims to land on her side- aiming to kick her back legs towards him, to hopefully kick against him and perhaps scratch him with her back claws. She aims to slap out blindly again with her front paws, not knowing or seeing if she will hit him- but it was a blind attempt to do something- anything.

She knows she has lost, that she had no chance of winning against the larger, more experienced male and now it was all about making sure that he remembered her as well.

She cuts him, her claws digging at his stomach as fresh wounds form. Angry was an understatement, and Aeistrios feels a growl vibrating his chest as he roughly throws his weight down more, pinning her smaller form to the terrain as he takes up with an obvious victory.

Even against a child, he relishes in the feeling of power.

He releases her from his maw, and at their close proximity he is pleased to know his scent would be upon her when she returned home - unless she washed it off first. He says nothing, merely staring at her with his purple eyes that held a gleaming satisfaction within them. Finally, he pushes away, leaving her to the ground on her own as he stands tall. Head turns to @Crow , his prize . “Follow.” A single order, he was sure Renfri or Reah would tend to the cub and ensure their health once back in the Plains. Looking to @Eisa again, he gives her a devilish grin. “Tell your Mother I said hello, and that I can’t wait to meet the rest of her family.” A tease - the taunt thrown to the air as Aeistrios finds amusement at himself and his actions. Attempting to near Crow, he aims to nudge them forward, in the direction of the Plains as he makes his exit.

Loss stung.

It stung worse than the wounds she had, the cuts and lacerations that oozed blood. The humiliation of not being a true rival to the male, of not being enough. It stung. When he released her, and she was able to struggle to her feet, she spat at him, snarling in rage and pain. Yet, she had lost, and it is an apologetic look to the other cub. "I'm sorry." She whispered to the cub, before she began to limp back towards the Brook, her tail dragging through the dust, head low.

She didn't want to face her family, didn't want to face them and tell them of her loss- yet she knew she must.
