A clan of spotted forest dwellers with a penchant for doing things in pairs.



CHARACTERISTICS
Dark pelt colors are common, but all shades are possible. Older individuals that remember life in the stretch may find cubs born with very light pelts to be a bad omen as they used to mean higher visibility and thus higher predation risk for cubs who made easy targets for hungry beasts.

● Rare: white, albino, peach, palomino, red, gold, lilac, wheat


Doubled features, long claws for climbing the massive and clustered sequoia trees of their homelands in the Sunless Stretch and curled or locced manes are common.

● Uncommon: folded ears, curled tail
● Rare: albinism, leucism, piebaldism, clawless


Geminus lions tend to fall into the small to medium range in size with strong limbs for climbing, they specialize in ambush hunting from above.

Rosettes are a common marking, ranging from sprinkled across small areas to densely covering the body. Dark undersides are also often seen.

● Rare: extensive white markings

Naming conventions are a bit loose. Latin, Irish and certain creatures from mythology with multiple limbs are examples of existing names, if you would want to stick close to that. I will warn against serpents and snakes, as they are bad omens in the family.

Knowledgeable of plants and poisons, but not generous with her gifts. If she sees someone injured, she's not likely to offer help. Used to being shunned, shooed away. Not easily deterred. Determined. Private. Knows how to camouflage well using scent disguises and mud. Consorts with monkeys to maintain her appearance. the ghosts are her friends. believes in death + rebirth. interested in reincarnation.

1, almost any age is fine with me, though if you intend on bringing in someone who is intended to be a part of the group tracking the princes down then I would say a minimum of one year since I doubt they are sending out kiddies for that.

2, they can be as close or distantly related as you please, I'm willing to work with players on that.

3, because the culling/sacrificing of cubs is considered an acceptable part of their culture, I would say various flavors of at least neutral are most likely. It's usually seen as a joyless but necessary task, and if possible the trading of cubs between litters to even numbers is always a first choice.

Silent and deadly, she is the quiet assassin lurking, waiting for the right moment to silence her target forever. An excellent tracker, perfect for stalking her prey or finding missing princes. Beyond scent and smell, she understands the world around her and uses it to her advantage, helping her in her task to hunt, search, and find.

Confident and ready for action. A spitfire. An extrovert who will speak her mind - whether anyone wants to hear her or not. Likely to try to sneak up on others, dropping in unannounced. She often finishes her sister's sentences because they are so incredibly in tune with each other. Not nearly as odd as her sister tends to be, but certainly not completely normal either. Lacks a filter. Enjoys sarcasm.

She keeps bits of bones in her hair. Teeth, claws, other small bones. Might have a companion of some sort - perhaps a mouse or a rat. Anyu is not fond of monkeys and does not plan on any kind of monkey companion.
