With each step that took her further and further from the Brook, Eisa slowly grew more and more confident in herself. Though she hadn't realized, just how big Amaryllis was- how enormous the land was. Arriving at the edge of the field, she stared out over the expanse of it with wide silver eyes, her mouth falling into a "oh" shape as she took in the landscape and all its features. She took in a deep breath and let it out in a slow exhale, watching the breath billow out before in a cloud of frost as she stared at the fields. She could see trails through the frost that were evident that creatures far larger than she had wandered through here- and in the distant, she could see the still reflection of water- and some impala and zebra's near the water's edge as if they were drinking.

Eisa made no move towards them, yet she descended carefully into the fields, following a trail along some of the grasses so she could duck into them and hide if she needed too- in case anyone came around that was a threat- and oh.

A small mouse erupted from the grass and she froze instantly, her instincts taking over her. She dropped into a clumsy crouch, intent on the small mouse as it nibbled on a seed, it's whiskers twitching- as she wiggled her hips and readied herself to pounce.

Since the falling of the hollow, Jai had taken to finding out more about the land he now called home. So far he wasn't in any pride but of course, if Pa and Ma went for a pride or joined one he wouldn't be far behind them. But today, he traveled. Explored the area's around the place he had settled ( which was here and there and everywhere ) and found himself coming into the fields. It was a glorious, wondrous place that was covered in the soft blanket of white snow. A beautiful sight, but one that hurt his pastel jewels of red hues. He had to blink them away and nearly ran into a child if he hadn't caught their scent and squeaked backwards. Realizing they had been crouched and going for a mouse and he just felt bad and guilty all at the same time. @Eisahi

It was the squeak that both frightened the mouse and sent Eisa turning on the stranger with an annoyed frown only to find... a yearling lion. Someone only a bit older than she was. Her frown faded, as she looked up at him, and she sighed softly. "Are you okay?" She asked him, her tone soft- it was hard to be mad at someone who looked so guilty.

She studied him for a moment, offering a delicate sniff of the air, before deciding that another somewhat young lion was unlikely to be a threat, and introduced herself. "I'm Eisa. I live in Vermeda Brook. Who are you?" She asks with a small smile- trying to be friendly.

He scurried backwards and gave the bright red cub in front of him. Granted she didn't look that much younger than he was but it bothered him even more that she was bright red and he had missed her entirely. Uh.. Sorry.. He would muse at her when he saw the look of annoyance on her face that caused for his ears to flatten in his growing mane and he look even more bashful about disturbing her hunt. Yea, sorry, I've just got a lot on my mind is all. He would admit, giving her a small sheepish smile. He would leave if she wanted him to, Jai wasn't very social so this was just all awkward. Jai, I live... A sigh, No where now. A small smile did form though as he would dip his head at her. It's nice to meet you, @Eisa.hi

She doesn't think that she's ever seen anything quite like him before- with white-ish fur that had a pinkish hue to it, and some strange looking markings... were they scars? She frowns as her eyes survey him, and tilts her head slightly, but decides that it isn't polite to ask as she sniffs towards him- hoping he dismisses her strange expression as a response to his words. "Wanna talk about it?" She offers, a kind smile on her lips. To her, it was just that simple- they could be friends, just like that.

@Jai , is his name, and he doesn't have a home. "Well, if you need a home, the Brook is the best." Eisa shrugs. "Feel free to come by and meet my mom. You look pretty young- I don't think she'd turn you away." She says. "She's the High Sovreign." She shares with him with a nod. "Did you live somewhere before?" She asks kindly.

Jai can tell - can feel - her eyes on him. Studying him and it caused his ears to flatten into the growing mane he had near his neck. He never liked it when someone looked at him that way, it normally ended in a conversation about how he got the scars with even more questions to follow and Jai was not keen to divulge into that part of his life. Roan barely knew about it. But she is kind, offering an ear for him to talk to about his problems but Jai feels like he would just be a burden to her if he did. However, it all changed when she mentioned the Brook and her mother who was the High Sovereign and finally asking where he lived before. I appreciate the offer, but I want to make sure my family is safe first. And he did, Jai had grown into a man loyal to his family. I was Heir - if only for a moment - of Obsidian Hollow but the tunnels collapsed on us and we were forced out. He would admit finally. @Eisahi

Eisa's studying of @Jai has nothing to do with the scars, rather the odd coloring of his fur. She has never seen an albino lion before, and isn't quite sure what to make of the pink hues. Perhaps he was once red like she was and stayed out in the sun to long. "Were you red once and stayed out in the sun too long?" She asks, after a moment, her head tilting curiously. "Sorry, if that's rude. I've never seen someone with fur like yours. Pinkish white." She explains. Her eyes widen as he explains that he was Heir to Obsidian Hollow. "Heir? Wow." She explains. "What was that like? The Heir part... I'm sorry about your home." She adds.

She seemed to be wanting to ask a question but couldn't make herself do it until well, curiosity got the best of her. Ears twitched on his head before his head would begin to shake his head. No, never been pink before. I'm an albino so any marking that I would have would be a lot paler than my fur. Or the off pink that his skin tone was. Then she was apologizing for being rude and he would chuckle at her, It's not cause no one has ever asked me a question like that before. He would admit to her. Now the question of Heir was a tricky one cause well, it had happened so quickly that the Hollow was lost to them so quickly. I don't really know. @Eisahi

Albino, the name of the color is one she hasn't really heard before, and she considers it for a moment. "Well, I like it." She says simply. "I think you look really cool." She says with a happy smile. Then she frowns slightly as he notes that that he doesn't really know what being an heir was like. She considers that for a few moments, and speaks. "I have three siblings... do you have any?" She asks, trying to move on with a shuffle of her paws to something more happy. "Two brothers and a sister." She says, before looking around.

"Were you exploring or hunting or something?" She asks, curious about what he was doing out here.

She gave him a compliment, stating that he was cool and it brought a small smile to his features as Jai would dip his head towards her. Well, thank you. As far as the Heir story goes. Jai was barely Heir when the Hollow collapsed on them and forced them out but when she mentioned siblings he would nod his head again. I have siblings. Alot actually. He would state as she began to name off how many she had before he could think about his own siblings. Um.. Exploring though I'm not sure where I was going. He would admit as he glanced around the area again before turning his attention to @Eisa herself.hi
