It had been a few days since the pride fight for the Lagoon, and while he had seen Hecuba there he had not seen his co sovereign. Hadn't seen him since they had blown off steam together(which saph still needs to reply to). He wasn't sure where they stood, though Gwyn is not inclined to think ill of the other man. As far as he was concerned, the spar had worked out the differences they had and smoothed out feathers. However, he wasn't sure it was the case for the pale dragon, so the demon found a comfy spot to bask in the sun and called the other male. A series of chuffs rolling from between his lips.

Checking in wasn't the only reason. With his daughters present and the high sovereign and sovereign's relationship not as solid as he would like, he had a proposal. Taking a leaf from the old Rythian's and his brother's book, he thought an arranged marriage might secure their cooperation more. Might allow him to feel secure in their alliance even with Hecuba's dislike of the demon. Not that her opinion of him was important to Gwyn; she was a woman. However Drakon's opinion and alliance was important with his fellow family members not steadfast behind him.

Mmmm.. Where did they stand really? Drakon was unsure at this point in time as he hadn't been at the challenge for the Lagoon and had only heard what Hecuba had told him. But even still, Drakon didn't want to believe that Gwyn had threatened a child. Yes, he was a Casimir but Drakon had come to find that not all of the Casimir's were the same and Gwyn was by far a different breed. So, Drakon had taken his time to keep his distance for a bit. Also finding out that Hecuba was pregnant once again with his children was causing him to be much more anxious than normal but when he heard the sudden call from Gwyn, those emotions shut off as he ventured towards the High Sovereign. Fiery jewels were spotting him long after Drakon smelled his musky scent and let out a few chuff's before he showed himself. "You rang?" He would muse.

He still wore some of the marks from his little scuffle, healing well because of his wife. A mark of another battle won, another fool who thought he could best the patriarch. He was an excellent ally though, and a halfway decent leader. Or at least he thought he was; it depended on who one asked. However best not ask him, for he was quite infallible if you asked him. Anyway, chuffs sound and then his sovereign appears, a nod offered by way of greeting to the pale man. "I did" he confirms, watch the other carefully. They were both creatures of masks and subtle gestures. Yet, if you knew how to look you could read them and you could say both of them had practice. Which, in part, had won the pale man the Demon's consideration in the first place. "I both would like to check where we stand and offer you a proposal" he explains after a pause. Was he willing to listen or?

He stood there for a moment before sitting down. Drakon really didn't know where they stood exactly but he wasn't about to voice that just yet. It was to soon after getting other announcements to really have time to think on that part. When Gwyn spoke about calling him, confirming on Drakon's end, the snowy brute would raise an eyebrow up of interest. Drakon had noted the fresh wounds that were healing and figured that it was due to Manes, another meeting the Tollaire Patriarch was going to have to seek out later on. "We still stand on firm grounds." And Gwyn could take that however he wanted. "What is your proposal?" He was curious. This would be the second proposal that someone had given him. First Manes and now Gwyn.

Gwyn too perched on his haunches when it was clear he had no reason to fear a reaction like he had gotten last time. A gracious gargoyle was he, but also a smart one. One did not lay down their guard until the other in the interaction did. The man considers the answer to his first query for long moments. A cryptically positive answer that was. "I wish to cement our partnership further" he muses, still watching the other man. "You may have noticed the influx of my spawn as of late?" he asks. He hadn't seen the dragon around as often as he would have liked but it was hard to miss the number of souls that carrier the tang of his bloodline growing by the day. They were everywhere. Something he both enjoyed and found mildly irritating. Because a couple of his boys were at the age that was less than ideal when one had a relatively new pride and place in the land.

Drakon had a feeling he knew where this was going just by how Gwyn was stating everything. He took note of the male before him sitting down finally and Drakon felt his shoulders relaxing a bit but it was a very slight movement. Interesting. "Hm, I've noticed." He would admit. Granted he hadn't been around the Hollow very much since finding out that Hecuba was married but he did need to get out there a bit more. Drakon wasn't as active as he used to be when he was ruling the Coast and that was a personal problem on his end.

He noted the other relaxing but did not feel the need to comment. So far so good. "I've daughters of a marriageable age, and was wondering if you had any spawn old enough to entertain such things?" he proposes, his careful observation sharpening. Curious to see what the other thought of such arrangements. "I do not believe in forcing them together but we could try and see if anyone of the appropriate age got along to begin such talks" he continues after a moment. Still watching, waiting, learning what the other thought. It certainly would allow him to secure an alliance that would allow his sovereign's mate to exist elsewhere while he ruled here. That he wouldn't loose his support base like he lost his heir.

Drakon sat there and would listen to Gwyn as he began to speak about arranged marriages. Another eyebrow was raised upwards at the thought of that and Drakon would listen closely. "I have a son. Rameses. He is my oldest and will be a year old in a few months." He wasn't old enough to make children but marriage was not something that he would disapprove of. Ram should know this. Granted Drakon wouldn't be surprised if he took on more than just one wife. Something Drakon didn't do. "I don't see what the harm can do to have the meet." He would admit.

A raised brow but no further deterrents. Very good. "My youngest daughter, Siofra, is just over a year in age." he muses, a slight upturn of his lips flickering there and gone. Ramses sounded like the ideal candidate for his youngest daughter(that he knew of). "I shall ask her if she would be interested in meeting your son for the reason of an arranged marriage being possible if you will do the same for your own child"he continues. He would not allow his daughter to go in blind, to meet someone and find herself coerced into a relationship she did not want. Gwyn was a greedy bastard and almost as protective of his daughters as he was his wives. He would offer them, yes, for a potential marriage but never force them to accept it. "And then they could simply meet and let us know if they would wish to do so again afterwards. I have seen such things work before between my family and another" he states. Rythian was not mentioned by name because of their deal. Their promise to keep his origins hidden.

Just over a year. Not that much older than Ram and that was fine for him. Drakon wasn't keen to make his own children do anything they wouldn't want to do either and nodded his head towards Gwyn as such. "That sounds like an ideal plan." He would agree. Though Drakon would have to go and search for his child (since their one thread isn't done yet) and see what he would think about it. Now if Ram didn't want to meet this Princess then Drakon wouldn't make him. "Anything else?" He would need to go and find his son soon.
