She was still rather shaken from what had happened. She had no idea how the world worked and it really showed how stupid she was when she found herself stuck in a situation with the lion named Gwyn. He had claimed his right on her and sought out ideals to work on her. But she was taught differently from her parents and elders. Needing some time away from the darkness of the Labyrinth she would wander away until she found herself in a deep fog again. Oh no, surely not this again?!

Panic rose in her chest as she galloped her way aimlessly through the dense mist before suddenly coming to a peak. Skidding to a halt she released a sound, unlike anything she knew she could muster. Back pacing herself along the ledge of the peak's edge she slumped to the ground and covered her head with her paws, she couldn't lose her flower crown here, and how in the world did she suddenly come this close to nearly diving off a cliff!?! Fear once more took over her as she shivered, momma...poppa.... her mind cried out. She hated this. why did they make HER the heiress?! She felt so ashamed to be alive.

After his encounter with the shadow woman, Fíonn wandered the peak, continuing his exploration of this beautiful new place. His exploration was halted however when a maroon lioness came skidding into view, flowers perched askew on her head. Truthfully, she made him jump in surprise, his great body jolting as she entered through the fog. He watched from a distance as her form melted to the earth, her paws covering her pretty face, and he couldn’t help but frown.

Curse him and his soft heart.

As gently as the pink tank could, he padded over, clearing his throat loud enough to be heard so as to not startle the creature. To no avail, he tried to dilute his size by lowering his head, but he still managed to look like a great pink bush.

“...Ma’am?” he asked lowly, almost a whisper, “Don’t cover up that pretty face now.” he chimes, voice buttery and smile evident in his words. He hated seeing distress. “Are ya alright?”

She shivered in fear. Oh no now what was she going to do? where was she to go so high up like this?! Fear over-struck all else, so when the man spoke she didn't hear him at first until 'don't hide your pretty face' echoed across the fog. who was that? Shooting her paws off her face to look quickly between her face half-covered by them, she gasped. There was someone here! Poppy parted her lips and frantically called her voice to speak anything to this man. "Thi..THIS ONE.." she said rather too loudly. "Is VERY..V..V,VERY SCARED!! This one wants to get out of here!" she felt her tears threatening to leak again. "This o,o,one is....sc..scared!" she tried to look up but was too afraid to release her paws from over her head completely.

This man was a soft petal pink in hue, she couldn't believe her eyes as she looked at him. He reminded her of a flower back at home. Taking a breath and shifting her weight to go closer to the wall she shakes again and again. 'please get this one out of here' she thought continuously in prayers to the god Sol. Surely the gods would help her if this lion would not,....right?

Clear distress radiated off of her in waves, and her stammering voice struck all the wrong notes against his big ears, piercing him down to the bone. She needed to be taken away from this ledge, narrow and teetering as it was.

The woman backed into a wall, quivering, and Fíonn took the opportunity to step closer in view, one spade like paw bringing him forward as he used his colossal form and pale blush pelt to obscure most of the lioness’s view - namely the height.

”Ma’am,” he began, his voice a resonating bass, confident enough that she could perhaps focus on it rather than her surroundings, “I know it’s a lot. But there’s a wider ledge I’ve just came from not a minute south. It has the most prettiest views, above all this miserable fog - I can take you there, if you’ll let me.” He tried to find her eyes with his own seafoam coloured ones, intent on zoning her focus to him, and only him. “If you please?”

The pink man moved closer, her body shivered and shook. She looked up to him - he looked beautiful, his words were soft like the wind on her face on a nice day in the fields of spring blooms. Taking deep gasps of air into her lungs she nodded. 'I know it’s a lot. But there’s a wider ledge - It has the prettiest views - I can take you there if you’ll let me.' the words were sparse and less connected than how he said them.

She looked away and tightly closed her eyes, her flowers clutched to her skull under her arms and paws with a loud gulping sound of her throat. Could she trust this man? She wasn't sure. But so far he was nice to her. So far she'd rather deal with him than deal with the location she was in. Even if he was evil it was better to deal with evilness than dying right?

She looked to him with a nod, "Thi..this one...would let you....take this one where it's better...." she rose her chest up, elbows lifting her up slightly with shaking limbs. Breathing in her nose and out her mouth she rocked like a newborn giraffe. It was just too scary to stand up completely to her full tiny height!

This poor creature! Fionn's chest ached looking at the trembling girl. She was somebody's daughter, and to be up here all alone like this... It broke his tender heart.

Relief pooled in his gut as she raised herself up, agreeing to come with him - but now came the tricky part. Like the great brute he is, he could only back up slowly and clumsily, trying his best to not break his gaze with the her as he lead them to a safer part of the peaks.

"If my huge self can do this," he chuckled warmly at her as he backed up, "A young lady as petite as yourself certainly can, ma'am." In an attempt to try and migrate the woman's panic elsewhere, he cast an obvious glance at the red crown upon her head, theatrical in movement so she would notice, and smiled at her. "Those flowers are beautiful, what're they called?"

Should she manage to follow, they would soon come to a wide ledge, with enough space for an entire group - plenty of metres away from the edge of the cliffs.

The pink man spoke to her, at first her ears didn't pick it up. They were echoes, then they were droning humming sounds, and then finally his voice was registered to her. 'if my huge self can do this your petite self can' she shook a moment longer. But her elbows rattled her like a falling leaf of a tree. It took her a few minutes to move just two spaces, and then another two as she leaned against the wall beside her.

'those are pretty what are they?' he asked of something, she looked up confused, ah he was asking about her flowers. Her source of life and being. She took a breath, shivers, moves again before looking at him "This o, one wears A, African...K-Kudu...L,L, Lilies..They are the flower -a-ah, attached to this ones soul." she clutched the stone wall with her body, A gust of wind making her lightly gasp a small whimper. 'this is dangerous..must go down, must go back' she told herself.

Attached to her soul? A religion perhaps, one Fionn was not familiar with. He didn't care what it was, so long as it was getting her to pay attention elsewhere.

"You must have a mighty pretty soul then," he complimented, edging further back still. And like that, the rocky wall to the side of them sank into the peak and they came atop a great flat plane where Fionn had been minutes before. He'd come up here from a wide ridge further back that wound up the cliffs. That particular path was at least four lions wide and was most likely the way this woman had come up - a fork would lead you either up to this high plane or down the narrow, rickety path that he'd just lead her from.

A lesson in rock climbing, he sufficed.

As the space opened up, he backed away so that she may make her way to the safer, wider plane. The fog had cleared up this high, and the entirety of the sun-bathed isle could be seen in all it's newfound brazen glory. He only hoped the visibility of the land (and how high up they were) wouldn't frighten her further - if it did he would have to lead her down the wide path to the ground to finally tame her nerves.

'you must have a pretty soul then' she nodded "This one likes to think we all have souls worth the plants we are given by Sol and Jord" she stuttered. She rose and fell with each step - Poppy soon enough felt squeamish and soo grabbed the pink man "This one...this one...doesn't feel too good.." she felt herself rumble forward. Poppy clutched to the man again her body falling forward onto chest and chin - whack - she could taste the blood in her lips, the first time in all her life.


Her tongue rolls inside her mouth - dry heaving - she then felt her eyes see double. "This..one....ah.." then she passes out. She flopped to the ground lifeless - she was fine, for now, just entirely overly stressed out to deal with what was going on around her. Her lack of family, being too high up near the clouds, it was all too much.

ooc: Fionn has permission to bring her down from the mountain or even to carry her.

BIG PINK HEART

Fionn tried and failed to catch the poor woman as she passed out, green eyes alarmed as he watched blood dribble over her lips. His mouth became a tight line of tension at the sight, and he immediately went to surival mode. Mountain. Off. Now.

With a fair bit of awkward shuffling, he managed to coax her limp form across his back. Her weight was nothing to the colossus, small as she was, and he was exceptionally tender with her head so as to not disturb any wounds or injuries. He made to make his way to the base of the peaks, but then a flash of red caught his eye - the woman's blessed crown lay prone upon the rocky ground. Attached to her very soul, in her words.

Even whilst balancing the woman, the pink softie made the effort to duck down and grab her crown in his maw, gentle with it as to not disturb the petals. The red blooms tickled his blush nose, and they smelled faintly sweet at their succulent stems.

Careful and sure-footed, he began his descent down the peak, the woman a maroon stripe against his blush back. The nearby falls would be the best place to take her, he decided - deeply seated within the earth, water nearby, no heights.... Yes, he'd take her there.
