Gwyn didn't take long to fend off the fight that he was under, Limping his arm in the sand for just a moment shy as he looked over at Elijah. "I would like that yes, Please follow me into the Lagoon's heart and I shall talk with you regarding that." he tells the man before turning to Gwyn again before he departs. "Yes, I will come to see you then. " he nodded and allowed those who left to leave. He turned to @Jewel - IF she followed him in the Lagoon with @Elijah, so be it he wouldn't mind as he trusts the ebony woman. "Coming my moon?" he asked her over his shoulder before making his way in. That was until he heard someone else speak a foreign batch of words and then when @Ambrosine congratulated him on his win against her companion - all he did was smile with a nod of his head, 'don't show weakness' he told himself. "Thank you - I will come to you soon to make sure you get what is needed on the island outside of the lagoons mainland. I'll see whatever is needed you can get while you rest within my home." it was the least he could do.

He turned to @Vermier as the man seemed silent, and then soon left as well with the small child as the others did. He kept his eyes on their backs not fully trusting them yet, but he would make due to watching them carefully as he could. Clearing his throat he waited a few more minutes for anyone else who wished to talk to him - when no one else followed he would take his own leave deeper into his newly gained Lagoon. "Those who wish to join you are welcome to return tomorrow." and with that, he would turn his back and head past those who were leaving. It was time to get his foot looked at first and foremost. His face he couldn't care less for.

The Lagoon was his. And his alone.

Tensions were running high. To this end, despite both Amra and Ramona attempting to reassure Ambro, to offer her support in the face of so many angry individuals, it was doomed to fail. Amra allowed the nuzzle of Ambrosine’s nose in her cheek, leaning her head into the touch as she sought to calm the woman in such a volatile situation, always preferring to be the pacifist rather than an antagonist, or someone who was to do battle. Although knowing how to fight would surely be a skill one should have whether you wished to use such skills or not.
Ambrosine seemed to calm herself in Amra and Ramona’s combined presence, seemed to wish to cease the battle of words and of arrogance and recede to the sidelines to watch her brother take the crown and glory. But alas, it was not to be. Amra’s sovereign in name only had arrived, spewing toxic nonsense, demanding apologies when it was his family that had laid a paw on Ambrosine’s son first. Amra scoffed audily, glaring over Ambro’s shoulder at the man who was too wrapped up in his own self-importance and haughty-ness to notice the girl immediately. But she caught his eye when he looked between herself and Rythian, silently demanding to know why the girl was allying herself with the presumed ‘enemy’ of this situation.
Ah, so clearly the male who had claimed her had not advised his liege of where Amra’s alliances truly lay, and the reasons for his having claimed her. Something to file away for later use perhaps, for when she either requested her release, or tore it from them herself. Heck, maybe Vermier, when he won, would wrest her from them for his sister, so that she could have all her hens in one nest.
Ambrosine replied in kind, voicing her own opinion on the subject, to which Amra was inclined to agree. After all, the girl had been here throughout, unlike Gwyn who had only come upon the scene when Ambrosine had fended his pawn off of her son. Typical male, only seeing what he wanted to see. It was little wonder Amra had hardly set foot within her home since she had been claimed on that awful day. Gwyn continued to speak, evidently enjoying the sound of his own voice, but Ambrosine dismissed him, like the rightful Queen she was.
Suddenly a deep voice erupts from the sideline, defending his son. Manes. Amra stepped back as the fight erupted suddenly, the pair going at it while Vermier and Diuris did battle for the crown. Ambrosine and Tripfire moved back as well, giving the pair of males the space they required.
Unfortunately, both fights ended at much the same time, the two males allied with the Dieudonne family having come off worse than their opponents. Mane’s ended the fight by backing off, telling Gwyn in no uncertain terms that if he were to threaten Ambrosine any of his family again, it would not be his face he came for. But of course, old wind-bag Gwyn could not keep his trap shut and needed to have the last word. Amra’s ears pressed back against her skull, feeling the defeat for herself as well as the rest of them, and anger at Gwyn for being an insufferable brute. For she was a part of the family and felt their wins and losses as much as the rest of them did. But still, she drew herself up rightly, looking around at all those gathered. A defiant expression creased her features, mouth wobbling from withheld emotion.
Vermier walked back toward Ambrosine, proud and defiant even in his loss.
Diuris composed himself after the battle, drawing himself up to address all those gathered. Amra looked over to him, sad eyes listening as he handed out his laws as new King. He was still her friend after all, despite having beaten her family in a fight. And his kindness overruled his need to get his opponent gone, giving Vermier and the rest of the family three days grace. Amra dipped her head, thanking him quietly in her mind for being such a lovely individual. Even going so far as to pick her specifically out in the crowd, despite her having been standing beside Ambrosine for half of it, and then Vermier coming over to them after that. Well, surely now he would know who the family she sought was, that he had been so worried about her not seeing.
Ambrosine, ever the diplomat, congratulated Diuris and accepted his offer of a place to stay while Manes and Vermier rested up. Amra dipped her head to the new King once more, offering him a quick smile before finally, finally, it was time to leave this shit-fest behind.
Ambrosine, Manes, Vermier, Tripfire, Mishio, and Amra. The six of them filed away from the scene of the two bloody battles to the edge of the Lagoon.

KNEEL TO THE CROWN       The challenge was unheeded, even after its finish. The ownership of this area was less important than the honor and well-being of his father. A furious male arrived out of nowhere, lashed out at Gwyn, and was promptly put the fuck back in his place. Merciful of the Gargoyle to allow the male to keep his life after such a stupid move. Zagan could not help but laugh, loudly, at the outcome.       "Charged in to something you didn't understand. Didn't care to understand. Started a fight you couldn't even finish. And still believed that a threat was warranted? Even I am not that stupid." The comment was directed at Manes, tinged with amusement. But it was over. The challenge had ended, too, and the golden boy gave orders for those uninterested in joining to leave. His word didn't carry weight, but when Gwyn made it clear he was leaving as well, there was no contest from his son.       Zagan turned his head to Artemis, wondering if she thought the family--the cub, the mother, the father--were as stupid and ignorant as he did. He flashed a grin at her before setting off after Gwyn and Pistis in a casual saunter. His tail flicking leisurely behind him. 205 words | @Artemis Zagan exits unless stopped. "thank you," he murmurs, almost hurriedly in his excitement. he offers vasilis a smile as he is gifted both permission and acceptance. it feels... strangely freeing, to be accepted so easily. "i will see you shortly, then." he murmurs, offering a small nod before departing. not heading into the lagoon just yet. instead, he turns to head in the opposite direction - back from the direction which he'd originally come. his intention was to head back to where him and ruslan had been sleeping and grab his supplies, knowing he'd need them to patch vas up. and if the rurik man was around to drag along... well, then. even better.

Siofra drew in one deep breath, musk and perfume mixed in sensory overload. Her heart pounded and her blood raced along the roads of her body. Everything in her remained on alert, remained staring down one or two opposition members trying to keep them in her mind, keep alert and on her toes if actions should come. But not today. It wouldn't come to further blows as things seemed to split and settle. The new King rose and ushered away some particular few, offering shelter, and it would leave the Casimir time to go home and attend to things they needed. Ears flattened, mood restraints, she followed her family in turbulent and tension exitation.

Hollow threats and simple miscommunication was spat out into the air, and Manes continued to pull away and stood by his wife. Gwyn would get what was coming to him at a later date. For now though, the man stuck by his wife and soon left the newly claimed pride. Vermier required his attention and his thanks, for taking such a bold move. His win was not today, but his injuries were a trophy.

Manes stood and slipped away, seeking out the attention of a healer -- perhaps Iofiel, to tend to his wounds upon his face. They were sore, and he knew that the lion would be everso gentle with his touch.

He didn't win, oh he didn't win thank whatever spirits or deity ruled this land he had failed. She didn't, of course, dare look grateful, in fact as happy as she was, it wasn't that good of a thing. The dragon would be angry now. So very angry that Mishiō didn't want to know what he might do with that anger. Hiding. That is what she needed to do, until the dragon was calm again. Who knew how long that would be. It might make him angry again when he realized she was gone, but it was better then what ever anger he had today, right now. He- He liked food right? this whole situation seemed stupid and a tad overdramatic, even for cassine, who often thrived on the sidelines of the elaborate woes and and sarcastic chatter. it was enough to bristle the fur along the babe's spine, her anger flaring up further at the sight of her father succumbing to the breadth of the other challenger, who was surely a fool to face the wrath of her family in such a way! ridiculous, her mind echoes, as her tongue pressed against the backs of small, ivory fangs, hugging her flank closer to the cool surface of the boulder, as if she could melt into its shape. thankfully, it was not much longer until the energy began to die down, cassine waiting patiently for the crowd to disperse before opting to take. her leave. pausing for a moment longer, wide, jovial eyes darted around the fleeting bodies of family and stranger alike, before making a beeline for the company of her parents, hoping to slip seamlessly into their company as they moved away. exit.
