October 11, 2024 Something is happening in the Scorched Wilds. There is a battle raging between a familiar force and an unfamiliar one. What will you do? Help or hinder?

October 1, 2024 Spooky things are happening as the afterlife start walking among the living once again.

September 30, 2024 Louve Dieudonné manages to keep Wolfbron Bluffs in the family. What will happen between the Bluffs and the otherwise peaceful pride of Lorien Plains?

September 20, 2024 Ilarion Rurik challenges for Wolfbron, will the Dieudonné lead pride fall?

September 8, 2024War broke out once again in the Lagoon when a wedding had some uninvited guest arrive. The war results in the most death matches the island has seen at once. The Summit was challenged by Brighid with Talisa answering the call. After many years of the Summit have the same two leaders, the Summit changes hands. What will this mean for the balance of Amaryllis? A witch hunt has started by Luther and Miaran which seems to be turning things on an island that is full of magic.

August 25, 2024 War broke out in the challenge for the Lagoon after Cassius tries to take the Lagoon from Isla. The Cove remains with Miaran. The leadership of the Mire switches from Sigrún hold to Rike when Luther comes back to take his birthland back. Elephants push into the Rainforest and push out the lions there. Soon after Lucifer lays claim to his birthland and takes over the Rainforest.

June 27, 2024 Conflict and tensions rise as prides come head-to-head with one another across Amaryllis - just as Pyrrha and Cassius take the leap to try and claim (or reclaim) their own thrones.

May 24, 2024 Rulers continue to shift, family strife ensues, and, per usual, tensions seems taunt and always lingering on the horizon.

April 24, 2024 Things are rocky within Amaryllis as the Dieudonne clash result in three deaths and forces a shift in the rulership of Firnen Rainforest. With Caladan Cove freshly overturned as well, what will the consequenecss of these events be?

March 30, 2024 The lull has ended as a long standing family, the Dieudonné, launch death matches against their own. The Plains sees a challenge from a new comer, Aphrodite, and the quite pride is pushed into the spotlight.

March 19, 2024 A momentary lull has overtaken the lands of Amaryllis as its inhabitants attempt to find their footing and rebuild after a string of challenges. How long it will last, however, nobody can be quite sure.

February 11, 2024 The Mire has fallen from the Stärke family and is now held by Luther Rike. The change has stirred but the fighting nature of those on the island. The Brook finds a new leader with Icefang and Isla takes over the Lagoon after a storm pushes out the old leader. Reti finds himself the leader of the Hollows after Alexander is hurt. The Oasis finds a new leader in Léonie who is soon tested by Harou.

January 8, 2024 The snow has finally begun to melt anew, which means that the world is slowly returning to the much-anticipated summer season. With the various holiday activities and the other jests put on by Nafasi also coming to a close, it is safe to say that winter is finally over.

December 5th, 2023 Nafasi had pulled a cruel trick and has sent Amaryllis back into a renewed winter season! But it's not all bad, because the lands will also see a handful of holiday-themed events popping up as a result. To make things more interesting, a wayward trio of travlers have also arrived and are facilitating a mass competition between the prides, bands, and rogues -- formally dubbed the Amaryllis Winter Games.

December 2nd, 2023 The spring air brings forth a number of pride challenges. A familiar challenger for the Cove and the Oasis arrive to try to earn what they want. The new leader of the Lagoon is tested in battle as well. What changes will come from the challenges? Who will remain standing and who will find their world turned upside down?

November 27th, 2023 In a challenge between mother and daughter, the leadership of Wolfbron Bluff changes for the first time in 5 IC years.

November 22nd, 2023 Two death matches, one resurrection, and an almost-war later, the lands find themselves in a constant state of turmoil and calamity. Families have been torn apart and endless blood has been spilt; but how is it all going to end?

November 3rd, 2023 The lands stir violently as a death match rages on between Aeistrios Saxe and Morrigan Greyflood. Observers spill into the pit in droves to witness what will no doubt be a historic battle -- and it is clear that this familial fued is far from over, no matter who wins and who dies.

October 12th, 2023 With winter comes the surge of more pride challenges; Ludivine challenges Ryker for Firnen Rainforest and is victorious in her endeavors, meanwhile an outcropping of maims breaks out on the sidelines. In a shocking turn of events Luther returns to challenge Bruno for Ecrosia Mire, will the former heir prove victorious or has Bruno got what it takes to keep his brother's ambitions at bay? This has undoubtedly shaken things up as Bruno declares war against Andal Oasis and Allies in the process!

Summer is in full swing now, with clear skies, warm nights, and ample sunshine! As such, the deserts begin to grow dry, the shores remain a blissful escape, the north is spared with cooling winds, and humidity continues to rise in the jungle. Rain and storms are long forgotten troubles by now, which is both a virtue and a vice during the heat of the season.

vitala
Desperation and anger strangled the air around her. Her eyes darted from face to face as it felt like she was beginning to see the whole population of Amaryllis gather here. Only @Magnus and @Avaneira being the familiar faces she could latch on to. She clenched her teeth hard into her cheek with the growing anxiety that swelled here. Screams, curses and bloodshed surrounded her. Everywhere she looked someone was yelling at another lion or engaged in a fight. Her tense muscles ached, still lingering in this limbo of fight or flight. Looking upon the two pairs that fought for their life, she stepped forward more, pushing herself into the crowd. She wanted to seek the Sovereign of the Hollows to inquire if he had seen her sister, worried that she may be around here somewhere caught up in the fray. It would seem that everyone was too invested in their own affairs for her to feel comfortable intervening.

Affairs she had so far stayed well out of. She had no claim to be rightfully involved in any of this. Whatever was transpiring here was something that was set in motion either before she moved here or just as she did. Her mind recalled to the day she met Sangria on the beach when she was reunited with the rest of her littermates. Was she tangled in all of this then? Should she have visited her sooner?

Her lifting courage urged her to move forward and perhaps get closer to Magnus, taking some small steps forward before battle cries and voices came from the sovereign contenders. Vitala stopped in her tracks and watched with concern as their match came to a deathly end. The Oasis lion stripped the red lion of her light and with her final cursing words, she faded into nothing but a corpse on the battlefield. Outcries and rage erupted from the gallows, blinking stunned at the event she witnessed. To a fallen Kivasante. The crazed look in the colossal woman's eyes was alarming. Biding many curiosities and confusion to what truly was going on with the crimson cat. What was her end goal here? What lead it all to this? "Dammit, Sangria!" she yells out into the air.

While the Andallan falls and is tended to by his peers, a single lion rushes to @Sangria's side and stands over her body. She had no emotional chips in the war that was raging, no true testament to either side. But she couldn't let her kin's body lay to be wasted in the carnage that was rapidly ensuing. Vitala bit her fears back and strode through the lions to close in on Sangria and @Céleste. "Let me help," she offered to the girl, "I'm her cousin. She can't stay here like this." Vitala explained, figuring that with her larger size, they could both work to get her out of the way and laid to rest. Her chest fluttered, hoping she didn't just put a target on her back for stepping out here. If she did, she'd be ready.

Roan's pace wouldn't falter even as Viné claimed he was gunning for Circe. It would be clear to anyone watching who the Hodari's target was, doing everything possible to keep away from the pregnant woman. By the time the two men collided anyway, the red woman was already over by Arjana's collapsed form. Good. Then non one would get in the way now. Roan's MINTY GREEN GAZE burned hot in pursuit of the Casimir as the Bluff man turned his way. Pain stung when their bodies collided, feeling the inevitable bruising to come beneath his fur. Now that they were close, though, the Hodari's claws gripped the earth to keep himself anchored. The taste of blood was quick on his tongue when he managed to tear a few scratches into Viné's jaw, but then the sting of claws came to the right side of Roan's body. Claws raked down from the top of his ribcage, leaving behind a clean trail of shallow claw marks that dampened his fluffy fur with crimson. There was little to be done to avoid such a thing in such close proximity of one another. When teeth came for his own face, though, Roan similarly yanked his head back. Viné's teeth would tear a mild chunk from the Hodari's face, but would not achieve a hold. Blood streamed down the left side of the masked lion's face as the two lions faced off.

Equal in size meant the two were fairly an equal match for one another. Both had been leaders before, and both had been taken down by a challenger. It was an interesting fact that managed to weasel its way across the Hodari's mind as he attempted to bring up his left front leg from the ground. Weight shifted equally across his three remaining grounded limbs before aiming to smack his claws at the crest of his opponent's head, wanting to drag his talons straight down the center of Viné's face. At the same time, his jaws would again launch at the red man, attempting to bite into the base of his neck, just above his left shoulder.

Viné's call was never for those who were watching. No, it had been solely for those who's eyes were turned away. Who could not steal a glance to see the truth for themselves. They would take Viné's word for it. The would hear his reasoning, taste his logic. The deity of deception had ran though all the possible questions in the instant, all the white lies and half truths he would make. No, Roan, they didn't need to believe Viné they only needed to doubt you.

Out of the corner of his eye he saw the queen had moved away. Good. She had been to distraught to look at Viné's attacker too. That means both sovereigns would more readily believe his little deception. There was a piece of him that felt guilt at lying to Zoticus, but then, he was in his own battle for a precised threat to the queen. Viné had only been a guard. Attacked, in his eyes, for no reason. What other explanation could Viné have come to, other then the kin of Kiton following through with his king's threat? What other explanation was there? He would make it up to Zoticus with Hodari blood.

Set in his revenge now, he needed more doubt fostered; "I wont let you touch her!" He snarled, when his attack failed to hold the male in his jaws. For a split moment a hideous smile crossed the dark red male's face. Only an instant for Roan to know Vinß knew exactly what he was doing. It was Roan that had threw himself into a fight not asked for. Roan who couldn't contain his own blood lust in the heat of battle. Roan who would know in his heart that what ever happened after this match between wolfborn and Ecrosia was his fault. The instant over, his face twisted in snarl of pain claws racked over his head. Viné dropped his nose to point at the ground so that the claws that raked over his head would fall free at the stop of his skull and the nasal bone, though they did manage to nick his nose as they passed. Blood followed the crackle of his skin and was directed away from his eyes, but the smell of it filled his nose and drowned out any other scent.

With teeth aimed for his once weakened limb again, Vine would drop his right paw to the ground shifting his weight for balance. The claws on his left limb would rise and snap forward attempting to grab Roan's left limb and hold it in his grip. At the same time Viné own jaws aimed higher, trying to find Roan's ear buried somewhere in his fur. He took a guess and would try to dig in, biting at whatever flesh he might found within the thick mane. Roan's aim would be thrown off slightly by the shift of his weight and would not find his neck, but the hard muscle of of his shoulder. Viné snarled against the pain as the fangs cut deep. Let Roan have his pound of flesh, his undeserved retribution for a wrong not committed. Who will be believed? The lion who attacked with out provocation, or the one who had lived quietly all these months? Hell, Viné barely cared if he won beyond the time it would take to heal. If he lost, he lost defending the queen, and if he won then he fraught off a vicious attacker of the mire. The only winner here could be Viné.

Maia does not know where to look: commotion and chaos erupted around her, and the girl saw red. Bright, crimson, burning red. Her cousin had been attacked by Wolfbron Bluffs, and her muscles tightened as claws dug in and out of the soft ground beneath. A grumble escaped her lips as she watched her cousin bleed in battle. She needed to help.

But before she could launch her own attack against the next perpetrator to speak words of treachery, she became a victim herself. Sole caught the woman off guard, and as a result his large frame would collide with her smaller structure, causing the Tolkien to be pushed away from the original space she stood, the weight of Sole's frame pushing her a good couple of metres to her left. She stumbles with the shock of impact, but manages to splay her claws enough to keep her frame vertical and off the ground.

Her crown snaps to her right, looking directly at the lilac man as he attempted to snap his fangs towards her scruff. The tumble she took meant that her scruff was out of reach, and instead fangs snapped against thin air. "Who do you think you are, attacking me with no warning?" She snarls, twisting her body so that she was facing Sole head on. "A true sign of a bastard." The woman spits, before charging forward, destroying the metres that she had placed between them when she stumbled.

As Maia charged, she lowered her ears to pin against her crown as she attempted to shove her left shoulder against Sole's chest, primarily the right side, whilst simultaneously lifting her right paw, unsheathing (taking out) her claws and attempting to find purchase against Sole's left flank, aiming to dig, to pull, and to tear.

She would not back down so easily.

Zaynab was not well versed in face to face combat, only ever having been part of one major battle. She had lost that fight, and she had lost a large piece of herself. The stakes of this fight, for her, were not quite as high, but if she managed to come away with a win she hoped it would make up for the fact that her first mission from Zoticus was not completed. The man he had sent her after seemed to be gone, and she had been anxious to see how he’d take the news.

She couldn’t tell how much damage she’d been able to to do with her attempt to scratch his side, or if she even hit her target, but she didn’t have time to dwell on the thought. His own claws ripped the flesh of her hind leg and he ripped at her shoulder even more. A hiss of pain spilled form her lips and she turned her head, aiming to bite down on the shoulder closest to her.

Her blood stained the floor of the Rainforest. Her body was numb, and she wasn’t so sure if that was a good or bad thing. She didn’t feel the pain anymore, but, she also was finding it hard to move around with energy. Exhaustion was creeping in her and she doubted she’d be able to stand upright for much longer at the pace her blood left her body.

To her words, Valhalla spoke of not wanting to return to the rainforest grounds ever again. Could she trust his words? Could it be certain he’d stray from the lands she saw as her home? She thought about it- her jaws missing his neck, and as her fangs pierced his shoulder her eyes caught sight of the horrific scene before her, distracting her enough to not feel the pain from Valhalla’s fangs at her shoulder, having missed her neck. Sangria’s bodice was in the grasp of Aquila’s fangs, and Ismae swore she could see the life leaving from the colossal Queen’s frame.

No…

Rage clouded her senses, and unlike not being able to do anything about Kimagure’s death… Ismae could do something about Sangria’s. Adrenaline ran through her veins as her emotions came to a rise, and with a painful roar that ripped from her throat, Ismae’s jaws left Valhalla’s shoulders and savagely grabbed at his jugular. There was no missing this time. There was no opportunity for Valhalla to avoid his fate- the fate Aquila locked into stone on the colossal. Ismae had been ready to retreat, to agree to the terms of Valhalla never coming back.. but that was voided the minute Sangria’s life was taken from her.

She heard Roan’s prior words play through her head. This isn’t what Avreya wanted. But where was Avreya? The one person Ismae had bonded with- had left. She left to defend her home… wasn't it the least Ismae could do was defend the Rainforest? Maybe the way she was going about it was all wrong, but, there was no turning back now.

Not with her fangs adding pressure to Valhalla’s neck.

“He killed you.” She hissed through her grip, yellow eyes narrowed to slits. There was something dark starting to form within Ismae. She felt it grasping at her, pulling her, and as her fangs finally used all the force she had left in her to bite and tear at Valhalla’s throat, she knew she’d never be the same from this moment onward.

She was a murderer. A killer. But in her mind it was justified- all in the memory of Sangria. In the memory of those she had lost before- Kimagure, Avreya… she let the anger and sadness seep out of her into her attack, for there would be no more mercy from her.

Truthfully, the bronze gentry would have never attacked unprovoked but in the event of chaos and the fact that someone had attacked Maia while she had done nothing (at least not to his eyes) wrong, it was justified. Though, he would come to realize later on that this act of honor would likely go unnoticed but for now he was doing this for her. For the Tolkien's honor and all that.

While @Zaynab was successful in her quick and swift nom to his left shoulder which would no doubt leave two moderate puncture wounds and a couple minor lacerations, he attempted to continue ripping into her own left shoulder. To tug and tear his sole goal, while also still attempting to push his right forepaw on the middle of the spine in an attempt to sweep his claws towards himself.

Her should was going to be a mess after thing. Win or lose, she was not going to have a fun time hauling herself back to the Bluffs, and navigating the tricky terrain would be an absolute nightmare. Luckily, the adrenaline pumping through her veins was enough to keep the pain from completely clouding her mind and she was able to stay focused for now. No matter what her odds where, she was going to throw everything she had at this fight and simply hope for the best.

He continued to tear at her shoulder, while also raking his claws along her spine. She jerked back then, hoping to free herself from his grip, and also hoping that her bite to his shoulder would hold long enough for the backwards momentum to rip the wound open even more. As she pulls back, she raises her right front paw, slashing out at his neck.

kiton hodari.

He glared at the lioness through narrowed slits, his attention shifting only once the familiar form of Zoticus prowled forward with a snarl. He accused Kiton of threatening his mate, and while he had made his intentions clear that he would defend the Valour, he sneered at the accusation. If anyone had been making threats, it had been her threatening to swarm.
Finding nothing left to say at that moment, Kiton attempted to lurch toward the Wolfbron leader in kind with his own right shoulder aiming to take on the brunt of the impact. An angered snarl ripped through his parted jaws as he felt claws rake down both of his sides, leaving moderate lacerations to well with scarlet blood. Kiton attempted to bite down on the flesh of Zoticus's left cheek, leaning his weight forward to try and push his opponent away.
Whatever cries rang out fell upon deaf ears. The cacophony of battle hummed in a uniform buzz as Kiton fought, filtering out the sounds of crying and bones shattering.
