Claws stretched from their sheaths as toes splayed out against the cold rocky surface of the Hollow. A single beam of sunlight penetrated through the January overcast, igniting the golden lioness and leaving her to look like a spark of fire amongst the backdrop of winter.

The woman's maw opened and out rolled a summons for the Hollow's King. Ifri knew her father was here. She could smell him. Him and the hoard that he liked to surround himself with.

It had been some time since Ifri had seen her sire. All the tragedy that had led her here was almost a blur. And they were quite honestly experiences that she would rather forget completely. Her brows furrowed as she waited, nostrils flared and posture not very welcoming or ladylike. The girl knew all too well what the Casimir thought of women. And she was prepared to be greeted by someone other than Gwyn. Though Lords help them if they found her before her father did.

It seems that someone had kicked the demon's nest and all the young heathens came spilling out. For the third time in as many days he is called by his spawn. However, in this case, there is a wide grin on his lips as he emerges from the lair. Ifri was here. She who butted heads with him the most but also, was his favourite daughter. Not that he didn't enjoy Lillith's and Eury's company.. it was just they clicked from day one, and fought from that first day. She was the one who took the most after her mother, the only woman he had ever loved and treated as equal.

It would be interesting to see how she clashed with Rythian who was traditional like him, if not more so.

"Ifri"he calls, spying her illuminated by light. A flame compared to his bloody visage. She is standoffish, standing proud, unyielding and he chuckles as he approaches. "Is that how you wish to greet me daughter?" he asks her stopping before her. Sweeping his gaze over her with possessive, fatherly concern. What had befallen her in their time apart?

Someone had kicked the nest indeed. And here stood one such hornet. Docile if left alone yet capable of delivering one hell of sting if provoked.

Dark ears flip forward as tri-colored eyes land upon the familiar form of her sire. Her name rises up from his maw, causing a wide grin to spread across her face. His next words only served to deepen that shit-eating smile and a laugh rolled passed her teeth. "Actually I had in mind to just kick your ass, Old man."

The smaller yellow lion is then boldly pushing forward and with as much force as she could muster (without causing injury to herself) her head butts roughly into the nook of the male's left shoulder and chest. Her head then twisting up to nip at the King's chin playfully. "You're a hard guy to pin down." Ifri muses when she pulls away. "Were you having trouble setting down roots?" Her question referring to the many lands and miles in which she had tracked him through.

The prick of the stinger, venom flooding into blood, and yet like a honey badger he is immune. Simply taking the small hurt in stride, he watches her with his rare true smile upon his lips. "You can try daughter, but I am still big enough to sit on you if you get too rowdy"he rumbles back easily, the smile becoming a wicked smirk. This was a give in take he had missed. She approaches, headbutting and nipping him. He in turn tries to throw a forelimb over her. Pulling her in close so she couldn't do anymore damage and also just to hug her. She had been missed.

He releases the girl, nay, young woman after a short while; too long would be inappropriate and he did not wish to give her more ammo. She teased him entirely too much thank you. "It took a while to find a place that was worthy" he answers back, shrugging a little. "What kept you?" he queries to her, noting some lines and scars that hadn't been there before.

The daughter gives a hearty laugh while being pulled into her father's embrace. "You're so right! I really should watch out for that big butt of yours." Her giggles muffled into Gwyn's two-toned mane. And for while their hug lasted, she reveled in the parental protection she had so missed. Being out in the world with only her mother and father's lessons to guide her had been a difficult thing indeed.

When she moves to stand before the sire once more, Ifri shifts her stance around in a few proud ways; freely displaying the new badges littering her hide. "Got caught up with a coalition." She explains. "Whooped all their asses too!" The warrior declares triumphantly with a big grin. "They let me hang around for a bit but then I got whiff of your stink. So here I am." Her victory grin slipping into one of easy mischief.

Her laughter is music to the brutes ears after so long without it. "You'd better"he teases, and warns. He would squish his children if need be, no matter their age. It was the gentlest way to discipline them. And while he tempered his strength with the really tiny spawn, the little ones were fragile enough for accidents. Particularly when their father was so large.

There is a slight frown at her news. While she shows her scars with pride, the male still worries because his children are precious to him. He had taught them well, Ragnar had taught them as well as he. They should, would be fine, but could you blame a father for worrying for his kids? "I'm sure you did. Though I will ask you be more gentle with those here. " he answers, leaving part of the sentence unsaid. Please do not worry me like you just did with the news you gave me. However, any and all of his spawn were used to his quiet ways. She would catch it and all would be well. Not to mention she would totally catch the subliminal compliment; she was a badarse and he didn't want her scaring off some of the others. "Stink? Cruelty thy name is Ifri" he states. He then steps forward giving her another gesture of love, pressing his muzzle into the nearest shoulder. "You'll be joining me yes? I have missed you and I am sure your siblings have as well."

A look of skepticism was tossed out toward the dark male. "Gentle? Oh, faðir, you should know better!" But she did shrug before giving an understanding nod. "I shall try. But no promises." Everyone enjoyed a good brawl every now and then. But she would indeed try. In fact, she would be sure to be as gentle to them as they were to her. So take that for what you will, she supposed.

"Personally I prefer 'Brutally Honest'." Ifri replied with a mockingly offended huff. But the curve of her lips was a dead give away of her on-going jest. "And of course!" The woman beamed. "I am indeed here to join you and the others. Think I was here to take over, eh? Well surprise! Not today." And with that her shoulder nudged playfully into the King's own. "It's been a long road. I'd really like fill my belly, take a nice long nap and then maybe afterwards find a sibling or two to torment." She'd be gentle with those that weren't her kin. But when it came to her little brothers and sisters, Ifri never passed up an opportunity to be that embarrassing older sister.

The man simply waits as she exclaims that he should know better. Does not react in any way, waiting her out. And then she concedes, her father nodding in response. "Trying is all I ask" he states simply. Their natures aren't necessarily akin to gentle treatment but at the same time if Gwyn could curb his darker appetites then so could she. Her come back about smell earned a huff on his part, the beast saying without words his statement still stood.

Her smile had him smirking slightly. "You could try Ifri, but I am not so easily dislodged." he quips back his tone part jest, part seriousness. Ifri had ambitions and while that was fine, the man was not inclined to entertain them to the extent that she sometimes seemed to. Still she was here to join him and he accepted her nudge with more grace than her jest. "Then, that dear girl I can provide. Come, I'll take you by way of a food cache and you may find someone to pester" he states, pivoting on the spot and leading her into the depths.
