From the feeling of hot sand beneath her paws the slightly chilled grains, she could tell she reached home. The journey had been exhausting, the whole way through the daylight hours, but now finally the sun began to rest on the horizon as the air became tinted with salt.

Her mind only hesitated a moment as she stepped over the Cove's borders, looked back at @Madison with a smile, and called for @Drakon or @Hecuba. It was finally time to settle until Astrid set up her clan and the rose woman could move with her, closer to the snow. Her attention returned back to the golden yearling, a smile on her maw. "Are you alright? We can rest soon, darling." She promised. Though the sun did not treat her the way it did Arachnae.

make it happen in my mind The golden yearling grew more curious as she followed Arachnae towards this place called the Cove, wondering how it would be compared to the tidepools as they continued a similar journey towards the familiarity of her former haunt. It seemed to be very much a beachfront pride, situated right up against the ocean and having full reign of whatever the rolling whitecaps of the water dared to touch while open land outstretched in the distance up from the soft sands. Did the others that lived here do what she had done since the separation and feed themselves from what the sea had to offer too? It was a thought she had possessed for a while now, her hunger having intensified since they had left and been traveling underneath the heat of the sun, but she hadn't spoken a word of it aloud. No, she would wait until they got settled within this new home for she knew her adopted mother had to be just as tired as she herself was. It seemed Arachnae had similar thoughts, and upon the askance of her well being, Madison just beamed. "I'm fine!" She chirped brightly as she followed her mother's example and stepped over the borderline into the Cove's reach of territory. Now, all they really had to do was wait.

Drakon Tollaire

You would think that Drakon would be hostile at the fact that someone had dared to cross over the borders and then call for him or Hecuba but that wasn't the case. He had been out and about as he had caught the scent of his sister and someone unknown. He was curious as to why @Arachnae was here, knowing she had other things to think of and had said she would join eventually so maybe that was it. Whatever the case it was Drakon that welcomed them at the borders. "Arachnae, it's nice to see you again." He would rumble before glancing towards the yearling nearby, "And who might this be?"

The golden yearling ensured Arachnae she was okay, and not but moments later the dragon came into sight, and the rose purred at his arrival. "Hello brother, it is nice to see you again too. It has been too long, and I'm sorry for that." She would say. "This is @Madison. Maddi, this is @Drakon." The witch said.

With a grin, her dark ears would flit back just a bit. "Madison is my adoptive daughter." She would state. "And I thought now was a good time to.... Come home." Arachnae felt relief as the sun finally slipped beyond the horizon, and sighed just a bit. "if you will have us, that is."

make it happen in my mindAs the alabaster king appeared to greet them, a sudden shyness overtook her and she felt herself slipping closer to Arachnae's side for comfort until she felt the warmth of her mother against her own skin, two-toned stare watching him with quiet curiosity. She had not encountered many individuals in her life, and all she heard was Ebrahim's warning in the back of her mind to behave for she was in the presence of a king. It was also Arachnae’s brother, and she did not want to cause any awkwardness that might not allow them a home here, especially not when she had seen how excited the rose woman had been to have the cove as a possible haven for them. So, she would merely sit in silence as the two conversed, letting them have this time and awaiting her own turn to speak. She did not want to be rude to him, and when the time finally came, she would dip her head swiftly forward in an ungraceful acknowledgement. “N-n-nice……meet you….”

You had other important matters. He would muse at her before fiery jewels looked over to the child that huddled next to his sister. Introduced as @Maddie and Drakon would dip his head to her in return with a small chuckle. No need to be so formal, darling. You are family. He would state before looking back to @Arachnae as she made the comment of joining. Of course of course. Welcome to the Cove. Rules are pretty simple. Though different than the Coast. He would state. No claiming unless it's cub or life threatening. Don't cause trouble between any of our allies or ourselves. Everything else was self explaining hopefully.

Arachnae purred, stepping forward to gently rub her head against the larger lion's mane happily, "Thank you, @Drakon. I have missed you and Hecuba. I am excited to see my new niece and nephew as well." She said.

She stepped back, gently brushing her side against @Madison's, and dipped her head. "Lead the way, my liege." She chuckled. She did see him as her king, but it was a joke with how formal she used to be towards him. "Thank you for welcoming us. I will pull my weight as much as you need." The rose offered. She would follow the white king into the territory of their new home soon, relieved to rest and finally be with her family.

Ears twisted as he would watch his sister and how she reacted to the child near her. It was interesting to see his sister as a mother and though he wished for her to have her own family, there had been a part of him that didn't think it would be this son. Regardless, Drakon was happy for her and the niece that she brought into the fold. Whenever you are ready to meet them, don't hesitate to call for them. Though Gostir might be a bit more.. Stubborn in coming to you. He would admit before chuckling and turning to lead them into the territory.

make it happen in my mind She was silent for most of it, letting brother and sister getting reacquainted and settle the matter at hand, and she would use the time to merely observe. Even though Drakon had said she was family, she still did not want to interrupt their reunion. After all, she had wanted the same when she had found her mother again, just a moment in time to share it with one another before coming back to the entirety of reality. It would be quite rude to do such a thing, and she was more than content just sitting on the sidelines of it all. Her speech was not refined from lack of socialization, and truthfully, Madison wouldn't even know what to say at this point; she was just happy to be back with her mother again and the stability of a possible home. It definitely didn't take them long to sort such a thing, and the yearling reached up to nuzzle Arachnae's shoulder in excited affection before they began to follow Drakon into the Cove. There would be so much to do once they got settled, and far more to explore than she could even begin to imagine right now.
