@Caligula was right. Their views had once upon a time been very different but now? Probably not anymore. Death had brought a new light to the beasts reality and it had caused him to change his views slightly. "Her choice. I don't claim unless it is necessary." He would admit as he would watch Caligula's expression thoughtfully. "You would be correct. I wasn't fond of you but I never didn't like you, there is a difference. But now? Now, I would like to consider you a friend." He would state as he would glance around the pit.

"Nymeria is a good leader. I've met her once since becoming Sovereign to the Cove and held our alliance that Jewel had prior." He would state bluntly as he would begin to think about the native woman Gareth had left the Cove for. She was a gorgeous woman - don't let Hecuba know that - and polite as could be. No wonder Gareth had left for the Brook. But ear would twist towards Caligula's voice and chuckle. "Far from the ocean?"

Caligula nodded slowly when he found out that his child hadn't been forced against their will. "Parvati actually prefers the use of they. They probably didn't tell you as they don't make a fuss about it but sticking to gender neutral terms would be for the best. Spiritus can change on a moment's notice. Some days it is she and others it is he and at times there is a they moment. Rsorvic is the only one that sticks within their gender. Only thing she worries about is food." So yes, his children were likely to be seen just as odd as he was seen. But he loved them dearly and encouraged them to fully be themselves no matter what that meant.

"I would consider you a friend as well. Well, that is if you will have me. I haven't seen him around lately but I still love him." And if that disqualified him then he would understand it. But Caligula couldn't help whom his heart swooned for.

"I haven't met her yet. I had seen Heloise when I was out that way. She said she would put in a good word for me so we will see how that pans out." He laughed when Drakon said where they would go. "I like that idea. There is still so much that I need to explore."

"I don't recall her telling me that to be honest." He would state, trying to recall whether or not he had heard Parvati tell him that when they were first introduced each other at the Passage. "But I will kept that in mind for the next time I see them." He would keep that in the back of his mind for the next time he would see Parvati. He was in fact curious about Parvati and wanted to know what was old told to them about Drakon from Sarthak. But then he didn't want to know either at the same time. "Like I said, @Caligula, I do not fault you for who you love and I will gladly be your friend." Even if Sarthak was with him. It wouldn't matter. Just like there were other's that probably didn't like Hecuba because of who she was married to. Did it matter? Not to him. He was happy with his life. "I don't know who Heloise is but if she said she'd put in a good word for you then maybe she will." He would admit before nodding his head with a chuckle. "There is a desert nearby we can start there if you want, or come back another day."

He didn't figure that Parvati would say anything but it was good that Drakon would keep it in mind at least. He was also glad that Drakon didn't fault him for whom he just so happened to fall in love with. Caligula knew well enough by now that not everyone would get along but still he tried.

"Are you able to be away from your pride for so long? Or are you just trying to get out of working?" He teased the other. Caligula had experience with what ti took to run a pride. He also knew the need for some down time away from the pride as well. "Perhaps we should agree to meet again later. Don't want Hecuba worrying over you staying away for too long."

Was he really trying to get out of patrolling the pride borders? No, not really. He wanted to show peace to @Caligula but when it was brought up like that Drakon had to rethink. "Perhaps you are right, my friend." He would chuckle at the tease before letting out a sigh and getting to his dark socked paws. "How about we meet in a few days near the edge of the desert?" He would question as fiery jewels glanced towards the mane less man. In the back of his mind, Drakon knew that if Sarthak found out that this was happening all hell would break lose and once again; he didn't care. "Until next time, hm?" He would ask before turning to leave, staying nearby so that Caligula could answer before finally taking a full leave to the Cove.

"Until next time." Caligula agreed easily. "I will meet you in the desert. There are interesting things to be found there." At least the gourd had been interesting to Caligula even if there hadn't been anything all that intriguing inside of it. Still, to find life in a place that seemed mostly void of it was something in and of itself.

The bronze male watched the white lion walk off after promises were made to meet up again. Caligula then gave a last look around the area before making his own departure. He didn't want to get caught here in case someone else came along and thought he wished to fight.
