She was fully healed and feeling fine. There was a confidence in her stride and a lust in her soul. Bloodlust that was. Which was strange as the orange faced lady had never been a real violent girl before. Not until she had gotten the taste of Turrek’s blood and the high it had given her when she had found victory against him. Was it a mere fluke she had won? Perhaps. Did she want to try her luck again? Hell yes! This time though she had a promise to hold up.

Coming to the pit she made her way into the arena at dawn. Standing ready with her legs spread evenly to help her hold her balance she drug her claws into the ground. Ears back and grey eyes narrowed she allowed her lips to pull over her fangs as she let out a loud roar summoning Vermier. He had asked her for a fight some weeks back and now the feisty woman was ready and willing to play. Head lowering to tuck her chin protectively over her throat she waited for him to arrive her tail flickering behind her as she did.

She had enough follow through to get the jump on him. He would rather be summoning her. Flip the gendered script a bit. Yet he found himself giddy at the echo of her roar. The adrenaline not the angry, brutal, hunting kind, but the silly joy at being acknowledged. She had remembered him. Him!

The petty joy did not dissipate easily, no matter how petty it was. He held onto passion and he wanted to share it with her. His muscled, clumsy form was careful to spill its weight down every ledge safely, though his tail lashed with impatience. On the last jump he landed and shook himself out. Discreetly trying to floof his mane out all fancy but making it seem like he was limbering himself up. He needed to do that too. He shook his injured leg separately as he slowly approached her. The rest of his stance suggested no fighting yet. Instead he was elated. (He'd be elated fighting, but he was elated now, too.)

"Eez here! I fear maybe, you say fight but no fight ever," he readily admitted (would she think him charming if he admitted to having petty fears?), a shy smile as he 'revealed' this, concealed poorly with teeth.

Of course she had enough to follow through she had said let her heal and she was now healed. Her body and her mind had healed and in the time it took them to do so a rage became ablaze within her soul. A bloodlust that she now crazed and had only been brought on more with all the fighting going on within Wolfbron Bluffs. Though she had no need to fight her own pride members at the moment. So she would fight the new Scilla King and test him. The last to wear that crown had failed it, had failed her and what was worse caused her to lose herself and fail herself. She liked Vermier. She had liked Oberon too, he was her first love, but he was no longer here. She had seen Vermier fight Turrek for the crown, and that was absolutely thrilling. Than she had watched Zoticus fight Turrek and she found herself drawn into the bloodlust that came with battle. It was like hunting a very hard prey.

Standing there she saw him come forward answering her call only to not out right attack. Was he being polite because she was a lioness? Listening to his words she raised a brow. A charming smirk crossing her lips before turning into a smile. “I am no coward.” She informed him despite what others might think she refused to come off as a coward ever again. “I like you @Vermier. Display passion with your claws. It’s simply divine. Come won’t you sing me a poetic verse with your fangs?” She purred dangerously inviting him to take the first move. That is if he had the balls to do it.

She misinterpreted his intentions and it slightly wounded him, causing a chagrined expression to replace the already nervous one. "Non. I fear you no...." momentarily forgetting the word for 'remember' in his nerves, he shifted his weight to let a paw wave a circle above his head, as though chasing clouds. "I no important, of you." It was dangerous to be noticed by powerful females yet he desired it. He lived to serve Dieudonné and the power of Dieudonné was always feminine and temperamental. Often things were said with triple meanings. Even among females he knew, with reliable blood, he was careful to give them no reason to doubt him.

And he would not act like a coward in return. He readied his limbs, feeling out the heft of his wounded leg against the stone floor. Lowered his skull, watching her eagerly as she spoke. He didn't understand most of the English. Just that she liked him. He had pleased her. This made him happy, but flustered/frustrated, making his tail lash at the uncertainty of whatever this emotion was. "I like Arjana. For see and for fight." He thought this had been very clear already. He didn't want to conceal honest emotions. That was for cowards or lions who were between a rock and a hard place. Not him. He breathed in and then out, relaxing his lungs before he charged. His ears were back, eyes narrowed, instinctively cautious despite his expectation of this as a fun match. There wasn't much room to get to speed and he didn't try to hit her hard enough to be sore, just enough for her to know his weight - trying to shove his chest into her front while his jaws swung around, the inside of his mouth suddenly clammy as he tried to clasp his fangs anyway into the right side of her scruff.

For a moment she thought that maybe his desire for them to dance a dangerous tango had been all talk. Oh but of course she should have known better than that. The orange faced lady would have preferred a more wild and violent bout that a mere spar but judging him how he spoke she doubted he wished to put on a true show of dominance this dawn. So be it he was after all still recovering.

Eyes narrowed as a delightful smirk teased across her lips as he came towards her. Their bodies collided with a gentle and tender thud as she felt his weight. Shifting her hind legs she attempted to push her own breast against his chest. At the same time she attempted to lift her front left paw up trying to slap at the side of his neck as she felt his fangs grasping the right side of her scruff. Why was it always the scruff?

Most women he knew would have scorned his playful advance. Admonished him to try harder. Maybe that was yet to come. Her weight sank to her haunches to steady itself there and push back, assertive but not destructive. Her weight pushed his mane into his chest at their point of connection but there wasn't enough momentum in play to damage him. He did intend to romp around later. She also tapped the side of his neck with her paw; that was a bit harder, enough to tenderize the flesh a little, but in comparison to what either of them could really do it was a gentle tease. Wait. Was she flirting with him? Like not just flirting for fun but actually flirting flirting? Shouldn't he have figured this out already?

If so then his grip of her scruff was highly inappropriate. He dropped it, the clamminess in his drool feeling even more guilty but his lips remaining peeled back to spur himself into some semblance of viciousness. His skull descending, ears knit in frustration that spoke about as much as buried eyebrows, he tried to nip at the front of her right elbow instead. Nobody could find elbows sexy.

Arjana was unlike most woman. Elegantly, graceful and serious yes, but there was a side to her that not maybe got to experience. A darker side. One who enjoyed the thrill of battle and was fueled by bloodlust. Often her bloodlust was taken out while hunting. This? This was not that side. This was a side that was much more hidden. A more playful flirty side. A softer side. This was her being an open tease in battle. The orange faced lioness didn’t want to seriously harm the Scilla King. She did like him. His strong build, his strength. She could careless what his title was, but he had she’d blood against a lion she found distasteful and honestly that was a big turn on for her. Yet she had started to grow bored with her flirting with Vermier and wondered if he would ever pick up on the fact that she was flirting with her as most than just a playful tease.

Their chests pushed together she pushed against her hind legs attempting to bring more pressure. More closeness. As she felt him let go of her scruff she felt not blood but drool drip down her neck which was a bit of a disappointment. Still no need to do any real harm against each other she guessed. She than felt the nip at her right elbow and she let out a low growl. Did it hurt? No not really. She then would then attempt to grab his left ear and tried to playfully pull at it. What is it with her and ears anyways? Honestly she found ear scars very charming.

Vermier had been happy to stall in pushing against her. Their proximity seemed to cause him pressure just by existing. But maybe she had sensed his hesitance and interpreted it as weakness. His temper flared. What he thought was his temper. Fear? He did not want the lioness he admired to think he was weak. She pushed back against him and he kept himself standing, centering his weight on his heels and shoving his chest forward with his right shoulder more arched to try to provide some twisting motion. His rear ankles slightly strained from doing this but that was fine, not like his back end had been injured by any of the wounds existing on him at this point.

He did nip at her elbow but he couldn't interpret her growl. Maybe she was mad he wasn't biting harder? Or that he had stopped biting her scruff? WOMEN WERE CONFUSING. He twisted his skull to try to grip around the right elbow joint instead - that at least had a semblance of strategic value in a real fight. Her fangs scraped against the outside of his right ear. That would sting, bleed, crust. She got a grip around the base of his ear. His pretty ear. But if they were fighting for dignity, he felt like he had already lost.

She has seen what he can do he isn’t weak. Or is she. They were both holding back and she was okay with that as she had just finished healing and he was still healing as well. Though her growl hadn’t been one of anger or distain oh no. It had been more of a growl of - pleasure. She was pleased with him, but wouldn’t complain if he was a little more forceful. Feeling pushing she did her best to keep her footing but found him grabbing her leg and this made her slide backwards as the front right leg lifted off the ground. As she slide her felt hot blood dripping from small cuts in her leg and at this she purred. Shifting her head she attempted to stink her tongue in his ear and lick it. It was the same move she had done to Oberon but only the two of them knew that and one of them wasn’t here. Such a weird move but she was a mystery of a woman.
