Bodies of water did not disturb him, unless it was something vast like the ocean. If he couldn't see the bottom it made him hesitant to go into it, but the river was something he was use to. The Satoshi male approached the bank of the water looking at his reflection watching the shimmering of fish beneath the surface. He wondered what the biggest fish was in this water..

Summer
With the last of the rainfall seeming to have swept across the peninsula, summer days await! The days are warm, though comfortable, and peeter off into more mild evenings while the humidity remains low. It is the perfect inbetween until things transition towards more sweltering temperatures, so best enjoy it while it is here.

A crocodile. No, Astrid didn't know what the biggest fish in the River was nor did she want to find out. Granted, she would always try to eat something before it ate her but why would the Norse woman go looking for something when it wasn't causing her any trouble? For now, the woman was just curious on getting her own fish or finding out more information on the new comers that were slowly invading her homeland. So, with that being thought about, Astrid came to the river on the opposite side of the male and a bit further down - though she could still be noticed by him - so she was unaware of him nearby on the other bank and slithered into the water with minimal movement so that she wasn't causing to much motion and scare away anything that wanted to test the water's around her.

Quietly he watched the shimmering fish wondering if anything big lived in the water when movement out of the corner of his eye caught his attention. Lifting his head slowly he saw her wade into the water and stared, well wasn't that daring of her. Or maybe she knew something he didnt? After a moment of silence watching her he moved to come closer but stopped a bit away. ”What are you doing?” he asked in a deep rumble of curiousty.

Movement caught her eye and it caused her to look up to see what it was, causing her muscles to move ever so slightly and the water to ripple. It caused a grumble to come from her throat as she would stare at him with teal eyes. I'm trying to catch a Draugr. Would he understand what that was? Could she possibly get away with making him think it was a fish when in reality it wasn't?

Oh she seemed grumpy, did he disturb something? Then she spoke and he felt his ears push forward straining to catch what she had said. ”a .. a dragon?” he asked confused moving to lay down on the shore of the river crossing his arms looking at her. Dragons didn’t exist as far as he was aware, so what was she on about? He looked cautiously to the water, maybe she did know something he didn’t…

A dragon?! It nearly caused her to laugh out loud but she bit her tongue as she would glance over to him with a small twist of her lips. No, Draugr did not meant dragon it was the calling of an undead creature but let's go with a dragon. A nod came from the woman as she would turn her attention right back to the water. Yes, a water Draugr. She would continue with her little lie since it was very clear that this man did not know her native tongue and thought they were fishing for dragon's.

Dravite watched her carefully, then he snorted taking a few steps back from the waters edge. ”The only dragon i know of is just a huge freakin crocodile... so unless you are friends with those...” he said cautiously, then looked at the surface of the water as if expecting it to come out of the water suddenly. ”How does one summon one anyway?” he challenged carefully. Trying to make her prove her story.

Well she knew what those things were and she was not friends with them but the boy was proving to be interesting and it caused her to keep telling her little lie. Granted, she didn't expect him to ask how to summon one and Astrid would glance towards the water briefly before looking back at @Dravite. Very tricky. Sometimes it take's a sacrifice. Sometimes it was nothing at all and they just showed up. But Astrid had never seen one, only heard of them in stories when she was just a cub and mother or father wanted her to stay put and not leave the den while they were out. She had dreamed of the day she'd be able to see one and kill it. Making her parents proud.
