She had learned quite an interesting bit of information from Faust at the pride challenge: that there were multiple prides within these lands ruled by women. It boggled her mind. She had always been taught it was their place to serve, to support, to help not to lead. Why was this place so backwards? Celaine almost didn't want to think about it, so instead she was on the shoreline, looking out over the water and watching the clouds go by.

Her head wasn't in them though. No, she was examining them for signs of rain or an impending storm. For now, they seemed calm, but they were moving quickly. Who knew what they might be going to blow in. Most likely, she decided, trouble. One way or another.

There was much to process over the last day or two. Much to mull over and decide upon which to think about. It is a sentiment shared by a woman ahead, her gaze looking outward. He himself was deep in thought as he rounded the last dune to the beach. Gaze marking her, and dismissing, before something made him look back and find her standing there. A golden woman, strikingly marked, who had been at the challenge. He had no heard what she said to the king of the bluffs, simply had registered her presence. Now, with little else to do, the man pivots. Leaving a trail of black pawprints in the sand as he approaches.

She watched the sky, the ocean. Gwyn asked old injuries for predictions, and nothing seemed to trigger them... yet. Stopping nearby, letting his eyes rove greedily over her form, his voice only sounds after long moments. "I assure you, I am a much more entertaining thing to watch." he rumbles. For he was a glorious nightmare and had caused many a woman to go weak in the knees for his attention.

She was focused on the horizon, gaze fixated upon some rather nasty looking clouds that might cause trouble later, hardly noticing the man approaching her until his rumble reached her ear. Celaine spun, automatically dipping her head to him respectfully, embarrassed that she hadn’t given him the proper greeting when he approached. How rude of her to seemingly ignore him.

A smile settled on her features as his quip sank in, and she laughed quietly. ”I’m sure you’re right,” she replied demurely. It wasn’t the best first impression she had ever made, but it seemed as though no harm had been done fortunately. Whew. Mother would have had some choice words for her had she seen that!

He really was a smug bastard, for he knew he was handsome in a dark, dangerous way. Knew and loved to appreciated for the glorious monstrosity that was he. The woman spun to him, cruel amusement glimmering in the depths of his eyes at her surprise, hidden to all but those who knew him. Her dip of her skull, an apology for ignoring him, was unnecessary in truth, but appreciated. She had noticed him when he had drawn attention to himself; and that was good enough for him. Particularly when he wanted the satisfaction of surprising her.

Her words, her little demure response had a smirk playing at the corners of his mouth, a cat in the cream. Oh very good. He closes the distance between them suddenly, looming above her, brows raising. "Like what you see?" he rumbles, suggestive. Inviting her to play with him. She may have another pride clinging to her pelt, but he is not one to worry too much about that when it came to wooing women. Unless her scent was twined with another man, it meant she was available at least for a roll in the hay. Something he rather... enjoyed.

Her head was low as he approached, out of deference not fear. Though it wasn't wise, she didn't fear men. She probably should have, but the very demeanor that would allow them to take advantage of her also didn't allow her to recognize the possibility or be wary of it. If one wanted to do something to her then it was surely because she had done something wrong.

"Your mane glows like the setting sun on the sands," she noted. It was beautiful, she thought. He was very handsome, she'd agree with that. He was seeking something from her, she could tell, and could hazard a guess as to what. It wouldn't do to be too forward, however, so she'd let this little game unfold a bit further. Not a paw out of line dear little Celaine. She hadn't been taught the art of active seduction. Such a thing wasn't hers to seek. But, she had been taught what it looked like.

A respectful woman was she, something he could appreciate. It was a little bit boring, but appreciated never the less. Gwyn tended to enjoy a bit of... challenge when it came to women. Not that she mightn't have some facets of her that were a bit more... exciting, it just didn't seem so thus far.

There is a knowing smirk to his lips at the compliment, a bit of preening if you will. "It appears like living flame at that time." he notes, stepping closer, taking the compliment as permission to waver to her. To approach, his stride sauntering directly for her and then abruptly changing to attempt to circle her. Close, oh so close, but not touching. Taunting her with the almost contact, an electric buzz of his presence reaching across the meager space between. His eyes rove her form freely as he circles, and then aims stop directly before her. Facing her head on. "The sand suits you too." he notes, offering her a compliment. Hoping it would be enough of a trigger to get her to twirl around and offer him what they both wanted.

"That must be even more beautiful," she commented as he approached. She turned her head slightly to follow him as he moved around her, a quiet purr escaping her as he circled, ever so close but not touching. Yes, she imagined she was understanding the signals he was giving off quite clearly. He was interested in her, it would seem. Why, she wasn't certain, but that was of no importance.

"You are too kind," she murmured demurely when he complimented her as well.

It seemed he wanted some sort of initiation from her as well, and so she gathered her courage and her lessons and dared to step forward slowly, ever cautious to any signal from him that she was overstepping herself, to attempt to bring herself against him and press her chest against his, as well as rub her cheek on his right shoulder.

Many would be turned off by the smugness radiating from him at the compliments, but, not this woman it seemed. Offering more fuel to his cocky(get it) fire, stoking it only more. Her purr has that male smirk widening, approving of her interest, of her response to his teasing. "Kindness has nothing to do with it." he rumbles, wicked sultry, toying with her in the sexual tension he created, that she swayed to. Laying out triplines for his trap, though, he doubted he would have to snap them closed. For she was diving into his lair of her own will. Finally, taking a step towards the taunting, teasing man.

Ahh contact, the woman responding, pressing against his chest his shoulder. Exposing her back to him, to those jaws which reached and nipped at her. Mmm yes. "twirl for me." he demands, raw hunger in the words. Oh, he was certainly interested, and she seemed to return the sentiment. Why not give into the lust that was already burning hot between them? @Celaine

Ah, she should have seen that coming. But that was all right if his compliment wasn't necessarily sincere, if it was just a means to an end. She understood that, and was grateful that at least he had been inclined to offer such niceties when he didn't need to. It was always nice to be thought of.

She felt him nipping at her and knew she had made the right decision. Truthfully, she was interested in this now herself. He was handsome, and intriguing, and at least finally someone had come along who understood how things in her world worked.

Obediently, finally given an order, she turned and lowered herself slightly, as vaguely unnecessary as that was considering their height difference, demurely looking back at him.

He had meant the compliment, as shallow as it may be. And while it is a means to an end in many ways it doesn't mean it can't also be praise. He found when you meant what you said, even if it was yet another snare to entrap one's prey, one tended to get lucky more often. Layers upon layers, traps within snares, he wove his web around his willing victim. She pivots upon his order, lowering herself just enough. The man rumbles his approval, pleased that she had given permission. So he takes what is freely offered, looming over her, chest pressing her lower down. Jaws greedily grasp her nape, forelimbs bracing as his larger form engulfs @Celaine's. This is easy, right, and he wastes little time giving into carnal pleasures once balance and positioning is aligned.
