It was nighttime, and she had to admit that like the Brook, the Oasis held a special place in her heart when the stars were visible to see. Her paws carried her across the timeless sands, white hair blowing in the wind as she looms her bi-colored eyes to the heavens. After so many days roaming endlessly around Amaryllis, she had to admit this was a nice 'middle' stop before heading to the north. A tune echoed from her lips as she explored the Oasis's sands, stopping only a moment to sit and put her back against the borders of the Andal's. How pretty it was here.

Maia continued to be restless. It was becoming a rather concerning theme these days: Maia would often find herself restless through the night, taking the time to walk aimlessly through the territory until she wore herself out enough to pass out by her den. Her constant patrolling did mean, however, that she was able to spot anyone or anything that was lingering around the borders when they shouldn't be. More often than not, there would be no one there. But tonight was different.
The Oasis lioness spotted another upon their borders, and fiery eyes observed the distant figure whilst sooty limbs slowed down to a near halt. She paused for a moment, her salmon tongue caressing blackened lips before her jaw parted and inhaled the surrounding air. Maia caught wind of an unusual pride scent - one that wasn't Andal, nor was it a rogue. Interesting. Her crown moved from left to right, assessing the situation to see if any other strangers may be around. It appeared just to be the one.
Without hesitation, the lioness moved forward and closed the gap between her and @Luxspur. Releasing a series of chuffs, the girl alerts the lilac coated woman to her presence. "Night owl?" She asks, crossing the Andal border and sitting a few feet away from Luxspur.
She shifts her weight, who was that? Her bi-colored eyes landed on a sandy woman, she matched the earth beneath her toes. 'Night owl?' what was that? She had then to look around, there were no owls here right? Looming her eyes back down from the sky to the other woman she shook her head. " Re...sting.." she said brokenly before taking a breath. When she did, her nose caught the smells of the land on her, ahh so this was a pride lioness, she better be on her best behavior then. She didn't need to make any problems for the other natives. @Maia
Maia lowers her sooty form to the ground, taking a seat and wrapping her white-tipped tail around her paws neatly. The Tolkien remained quiet for a moment longer, before studying the girl's reaction to her comment. @Luxspur was clearly confused by her initial comment. "A night owl is someone who prefers to be awake at night, rather than the day." Maia explains with a quiet hum, watching the lilac girl before turning her frame towards her a little more.
Luxspur was 'resting', and Maia looked at her with a nod. "Have you travelled far?" Maia queries, curiosity getting the better of her. "Are you going somewhere? Perhaps I could help you find your way?" Maia asks, looking at the lilac girl with a smile.
"I'm Maia, a lioness of this pride. Who are you?" She asks, wondering who had found herself at the borders.
" Came ....from...far....were...forest...woodlands.....river meet." she tells the other lioness before her. Body tenses a moment then relaxes. So that was what a night owl was? How weird to call someone that. "Not...Night owl...Just wondering....wandering.....places full of...not so natives...not natives.." she tells the other. After all they were not of Amaryllis right? They were all nonnatives here in the Oasis - unless she wasn't aware of any natives that HAD joined.
Breathing in, softly before she speaks again. "Wandering, places. Needing air." she wanted to explore - sightsee - witness with her eyes what changed in the last few months since all the new arrivals to Amaryllis. " @Maia .. Lu.....oo...mm" how was it she had to say her name again in the common tongue? "Lux.....sp...Spur.." she stated.
