Once they got from the Passage - Vasilis was quick to find their way home. He rode over his borders and quickly made it a bit deeper inside, making sure to look over his shoulder at the young child as he paced through the Lagoon's shrubs. The moon had already risen and he wasn't sure what Ambrosine, his gentry, was doing but he would give a chuff out to her. "We shall wait here for the Gentry." he tells the young girl. "Welcome to the Lagoon. I hope that Ambrosine will have word of your family dear Aardbei" he tells her softly before sitting down. His golden body sticking out against the darkened scenery.

Once again, Bei was in no hurry as she followed after the High Sovereign. Taking in everything that they passed as sea foam jewels drank it all in. The lands were all new and it was interesting enough to her as she stayed silent and followed the in a rush lion. Who had gotten him in such a twist that he didn't feel safe outside his own borders? She mentally shrugged it off when they came to his home and he called out for @Ambrosine. Good at least she'd be able to see a familiar face soon; hopefully. "It's pretty here." Her only compliment so far.

the evening had brought a brisk breeze to the coastal pride, and ambrosine had found herself unable to ebb away into the lull of sleep. she felt restless, despite the fact that she did not understand why -- but like all things were, it seemed to have purpose in the end. the chuff draws her attention almost immediately, ears swiveling as she brings herself to her feet with curiosity, along with a looming sense of uncertainty swollen within her chest. she has half a mind to think that this would be more drama between her and the casimir -- but, oh, how wrong she was! because there upon the beach, within the company of the lagoon king, stood an all-too familiar figure, and a face that had often haunted the parisian's thoughts. "-- aardbei?" she stammered for a brief moment, eyes wait as she moves towards the young girl -- though now she was not quite as young as she had once between -- looking between her and @Vasilis for some sort of explanation.

"Thank you @Aardbei, the Lagoon does offer a different scenery than most." he tells the girl, he waits, and thankfully it's not that long as @Ambrosine comes into view and speaks her name, ahh good she knew this girl. He cleared his throat and looked at her with a gentle expression. A voice like a whisky left him as he spoke "I found her wandering alone in the Passage. She spoke of you and a few others, I brought her here so that she and you can reconnect. She's here as a guest if she desires as such." he nods to the younger girl at his side. He steps away. "I'll be over here until you are done." he smiled between the two of them, gracious he could connect the lives of those missing one another.

The weren't left alone for to long as the familiar form of @Ambrosine came into view of the strawberry woman, causing her to smile. Moving closer to the older woman, Bei would glance towards @Vasilis when he spoke of being a guest if she so wished before going away to lurk in the background. "How are you doing?" She was curious. Was her mother here? Was Manes? What about everyone else?

though she stands there gawking for a moment, almost as if she was baring witness to some kind of mirage, it only takes her a few more breaths to recollect herself. eyes twist between the girl and @Vasilis, allowing the words to process, before piping in with some of her own. "thank you, diuris." the dieudonne responds, warm despite her surprise, before her head cranes back to the newest arrival, attention settling across the jovial features of her complexion.

"worried sick about you, what happened?" velvet tones asked @Aardbei finally, reaching forward in an attempt brush her maw against the plush of the smaller girl's neck, should she permit. whatever twist of fate had brought the strawberry babe back into the folds of her family, it was well worth it in ambrosine's eyes -- and she knew that georgia would find peace with this knowledge, as well. "georgia is here, but lives in another pride at the moment. arizona is safe, as well." the woman would add-on after a moment of pause, figuring that this was all information that aardbei would want to know.

Ears listened to @Ambrosines words before she felt the affection of a cheek against her's. It caused a happy purr as Bei would gladly return it with her own rub against the woman's neck with her cheek. "I got lost. One day I was with you guys and then I guess I fell behind and everyone disappeared." She would admit knowing damn well that it had been her curiosity that had caused her to loose sight of her family but now Bei was back and had returned. "What pride? What about my brother?" She wanted to see them all. Mother, Arizona, her brother. All of them and wanted to stay with them but if they were living here, she was unsure. Bei didn't really like the King right now.

ambrosine listens intently to @Aardbei's recount of what had happened, a small sigh escaping from between her lips as she realizes that, again, they had failed to properly protect the children from the travesties of the exodus. "i'm just glad you're okay, and here now." the woman would murmur lowly, almost tenderly, before swelling a few feet of distance between the two of them. and it was then that ambrosine would take a good, proper look at the strawberry babe, content to see that she was in good health, as well as seemingly good spirits.

ambrosine dreads the answer to the girl's next question, however -- but still, was not cruel enough to keep aardbei waiting upon baited breath for the answer. "she's living in obsidian hollow," even tones come first, watching for a reaction from both her and @Vasilis, before sharing the brunt of the bad news. "we -- we don't know. your mother tried looking for him, but found nothing." and surely that hung heavily upon georgia's heart, as complicated as her situation was.

He listens. So one was still in the hollow pride and others were not seen or in the lagoon here. Interesting. His eyes coasted between the two before him. Ears flopping with each word they shared, like a fly on a wall but a very obvious one at that. Swallowing as he blinked he took the information into memory. Georgia, Hollow - Mother searching for others but so far no good Nodding to himself and looking at @Ambrosine with a silent sweep over - no emotional queues to show he wanted to ask something, well not yet that was. Vasilis had a lot to do, he wanted to be here as much and long as he could, but then the fade of color at the sky brought his attention to the sky momentarily. Hmm, it was getting late soon. He would have to sweep the borders that faced away from the Cove and towards the main land.

Shifting as he took a moment to himself, thinking just who else was there, out wandering with her family name. His eyes move about and then go to his toes, playing with them and then rubbing his forearm. It seemed the younger one was safe and her well-being was okay. He waits a moment before bringing up a question finally. "@Ambrosine if it's okay with you, Id like to have her join the Lagoon as a member, This way she can remain with family. " he stands and comes back to where they were. " I am afraid I have to return to my duties on our borders before it gets too late. If you feel, @Aardbei, to join us then welcome to the Lagoon, My lady." his eyes turned to the sky, yes he had to go to the borders in the north - they needed his utmost attention. "Ambrosine, I apologize for leaving like this. I am sure you both would rather not have me hanging around anyway. Feel free to call me later if you want to give me what decisions were made. " he tells her before dipping his head to both women.

@Ambrosine was blunt with her answers and that was something that Bei had admired about of the woman. A smile formed as Bei would sit there with pride. "I think I did pretty good at taking care of myself." She would chirp. But then her attention was brought to where her mother was. "But she's staying here?" If that was the case then Bei would go searching for her. However the next sentence that came from the woman's lips was heart breaking and cruel. It showed on her face at the sudden pain and disappointment. It just meant that she would have to keep looking for him and pray that he would show up; right? She nodded internally as she would make that as part of her to do list. Though before Bei could really answer, @Vasilis put his two scents in about joining as a member and Bei eyed his cautiously before looking back to Ambrosine for her words of possible guidance.
