Kimagure had been biding her time, stalking the edges of the fog like the predator she was. Her colossal paws had drummed a steady beat when she recognized its recession. She would not be late this time, no matter what. As it pulled away, she marched onward, tracking it even though she could barely see before her paws.

All at once it seemed to pick up pace, pulling away like a curtain revealing a show. As her eyes fell on the territory, she made up her mind. Kimagure stood with her paws spread, her claws sinking into the soil, and threw her head back into a roar, announcing her willingness to fight for her right to establish a pride here.

Today was the day. Even though it had been a short time since he had decided this, his discussion with Nymeria was one that really gave him the confidence he needed and knew he had all along to go through with his plan. He needed to do something more with his life, needed to carve out a future and a set path for himself and his offspring if he so chose to have some (and indeed he did want to). Colossal body would move in a steady gait, large paws hitting the ground with soft thuds with each step. He carried himself with confidence, head held high and yellow eyes fixated on what was before him.

The rainforest was always one of his favorite spots to get away to, the waterfalls what seemed to draw him there the most. The lushness and overall beauty of the terrain was something else that always lured him here. And it was partially for this reason that he wanted to call it his. As Valhalla neared one of the few clearings that inhabited the rainforest, he would hear a call ring out, once that was very close. It caused for his blood to bump with adrenaline and hackles rise along his spine. His plan would be thwarted by yet another invader. But not for long.

Colossal form would move in the direction the call came from, and not soon after would yellow eyes land upon a lioness. A snort of sorts would escape him; not that he didn’t believe women could rule, Nymeria showed that very much will to be true. But because another invader thought they could claim this place, a place he held dear to his heart. His defenses would start to set, eyes narrowing upon his now opponent as his shoulders rolled forward and neck would tuck itself in to protect his jugular. Legs would spread out to be even, muscles tended and legs bent at the knees. Claws would unsheathe, gripping it on the soft ground below. Hackles would stay risen and his tail would hang limp for the time being, awaiting to be flailed into action at a second’s notice to help aide in balance. Maw would be held slightly agape, ready to strike. Your move.

Drakon Tollaire

No he wasn't here to fight for a pride. But he wasn't going to ignore the calling of another as he found himself moving closer to a new territory. It was a rainforest and Drakon remembered a rainforest from another land a long time ago. It made him wonder if Jyzara would've gone for it but that seemed to not be the case as he showed up to find the once acquainted @Kimagure. Drakon stopped just short of coming out of the clearing and would dip his head towards the colossal woman and glance to the other who wished to fight her, sitting down as he would wait to see what would happen.

She heard the call and frowned, pulling herself away from the plains she was searching for a meal in and drew closer to the source of the claim. Jewel found herself in quite the lovely territory and smiled, almost purring as the touch of the vines and shade slid across her pelt. The ebony mistress made her way to where the familiar call originated from and paused, chuckling deep within her breast as she approached the silver lady that was calling for a challenger.

Already, Drakon had arrived and part of Jewel was both surprised, and pleased that he was refraining from the fighting. Why? because she knew that his mate, fresh from birth as she was would likely skin him alive if he tried to get himself into yet another scrap over a piece of land.. Perhaps in time - but the moment, Jewel was glad that the lion had refrained. When the challenger arrived, she noted that he was.. unfamiliar.

Cerulean optics settled across the red pelt and she moved to take a seat just inside the clearing, tails drawn up around her paws. "Drakon.. are you familiar with the lion?" Jewel wanted to know what might happen here - and how alliances may shift and fall depending on the leader. she could hope that she and the silver giant could work something out given Kimagure's relation with Jyzara.. but this new male.. he was a stranger.

Oooooh! Another claim! But this one she’d get to see!

She navigated her way through the jungle to make her way to the call, already knowing just how to get there. Taking her sweet time, though. When she did make it through the trees to the area the two would be fighting, she noticed Valhalla. Ah! She’d guessed right! He would be fighting for the Natives! “Good luck Valhalla!” She called to him in a cheerful voice.

She likely knew no negotiating would happen, Valhalla wanted a Native ruler, not one of each, at least from what she knew. She sat several feet from Drakon and Jewel, offering them a nod in acknowledgement. But she looked excited. This was the sort of thing she loved. Entertainment! Though nervous, she hoped Val won.

Kimagure was prepared to face whatever necessary. She had had more than long enough to think this through, weighing options. Her heart beat a steady rhythm in her chest, her breaths coming out smoothly and deeply as she prepared herself.

The lioness did not wait long. A colossal male approached and Kimagure remained silent and still as he laid his defenses. Kimagure took that to mean he wished to fight for the rainforest as well. So be it. Kimagure's ears pinned to her enormous skull, her lips wrinkling back as she lowered her head to defend her throat. Her paws were spread for balance and she bent her legs to lower her center of gravity as her long white tail lashed out behind her for balance. Narrowed eyes attempted to make contact with her opponent's as her breath panted out of her parted maw.

Kimagure paused for just a moment before launching herself forward. Kimagure attempted to close the distance between them, hoping she would meet the man head-on. Kimagure would attempt to wrap her forelegs around the man's shoulders, claws unsheathed. Simultaneously, Kimagure would attempt to bite down on his right cheek, hopefully just below the eye.

Soon he wouldn't be left alone and Drakon took note of @Jewel arriving. Perhaps she expected him to fight but he wasn't. He was done fighting truthfully. He would dip his head towards her though before glancing back to the fight at hand. Ears twitching at Jewel's words and then the shouting of another. "I've met her once before. When I was in the Hollow." He would admit to the inky woman sitting next to him. He didn't know the other.

Nala followed the lioness who saved her life from a vicious hyena looking for an easy meal. And now she was here, observing how the while lioness stood there in the dusty wasteland though she ignored the purpose of this, she had never seen a fight in her life, no one of challenge nor anything of that sort. All she knew was that she wanted to be here. Calmly she walked in and sat down, with a big smile on her face, and there is when she spotted new lions. Friends?! Of course, they could be! They're forgetting about the challenge she went up to sit beside the other dark lioness, of two tails?! Wowww. "こんにちは！," She said yelling quite loud but no one could blame her, she was just too excited. "私の友達になりたいですか？" She asked as her tail moved behind her in excitement to see a new face. She was starting to get healthy again. So when she heard the calls to the north she was automatically interested to find out what it all was about. She never heard a call other than when Fionn had done his own. So was this meaning that another pride was up here? She tracts the smells, the footprints before finally coming to a mass gathering of lions and young ones - her brand new flower crown delicate atop her red and cream skull. Rose-like eyes danced from face to face, no one here was familiar and Fionn wasn't here either. Hmm did she happen on something she didn't mean to find?

Then something weird was stated, what was all that? Interested in the words that @Nala was speaking she slowly makes her way over and looks at her with wide eyes "This one never heard such a verbal language before. What is that?" he stated aloud, her body still showing signs of her past malnourishment. But she stood slightly slumped as she looked over at the other lioness before her.
