Since finding a new home within Obsidian, Tomas had quietly taken to exploring the various caves and chasms that seemed to go on forever. He quite enjoyed spending time away from his boisterous siblings, where he could spend time discovering himself and developing his confidence on his own accord.

Today, however, Tomas made his way away from the darkness that enshrouded the Hollow pride and up the stepping stones that lead to the borders. His lavender eyes blink excessively for a moment to adjust to the stark change in lighting, and as he pauses at the ridge of his home, he looks behind him to ensure none of his siblings had followed him. Or his parents, for that matter. Content that he was alone, the boy turned his head back to the direction of travel and began to walk the border quietly. His heart pounded in his chest, worried he was going to get into trouble for going too far - but before he could focus on that thought too much, an opaque blanket began to descend upon him quite quickly. It rolled through the trees that bordered the pride and quickly swallowed them in its path. Tomas strained his eyes to see the trees that had suddenly disappeared, only to quickly understand that this was not going to be possible. The strawberry child pinned his ears against his crown as he watched the mist come closer and closer toward him, a feeling of curiosity defeating any anxiety or worry he might be feeling. H-hello? He called out, wondering if the shadows he saw briefly within the fog was someone coming too close.

SEDONA CASALES

While Tomas thought he was spending some quality time alone, Sedona had been lurking ahead of him in the shadows. The russet princess watched and waited, bounding ahead of him each time he looked over his shoulder to check his surroundings. And oh, it was too perfect when the mist descended upon them to serve as her swirling cloak of disguise. "H-hello?" He called out shakily, announcing the perfect time for Sedona to make herself known.

"RaaaaAAAA!" She screamed as she barreled forward, attempting to knock right into her berry-hued brother from within the mists.

The strawberry child paused after speaking out to the mist. He is not sure if he is just seeing things in a brief moment of doubt as he studies the evolving mist as it rolled forward. The boy was about to turn away when the sound of another erupts the otherwise silent atmosphere, and the child's hackles rise as his claws dig into the loose dirt beneath his strawberry paws. He is taken by surprise as @Sedona barrels into his tiny form and causes his body to crash into the ground. Ouch! He calls to her as he tries to keep her at paws length, attempting to bat her tinier form away.

SEDONA CASALES

"Ouch!" Her brother cried out as she landed her mark, the both of them falling to the rocky ground of the hollow. Fueled by being the perpetrator for once, Sedona was not so eager to let their bit go.

"I am the mist! I am attacking you!" She cried out, then bending forward to try and gnaw sloppily at Tomas's velvet ear. She let out a breathless laugh, content in the knowledge that she could likely not ever hurt someone even if she tried. Perhaps someday this reality would bother her more, but for the moment, she was happy to have more of an even match in these games than when their oldest brothers were perpetrating.

Tomas needed to remind himself that this was just friendly play and not a personal attack by an enemy. The strawberry boy needed to relax and enjoy the benevolent relationship he should have with his only sister. So as her tiny needle teeth tried to gnaw sloppily at his ear, he giggled and tried to munch on hers back. Well! He called out through a mouthful of fur, I am dah mist, and I am attackin' you back! He remarks as he moves a paw and attempts to whack her face.

"There can only be one mist!" She declared devilishly. Giggles erupted from the young cub as she felt him grab at her own ear, promptly interrupted by a slap across the face. Sedona scrunched her muzzle and furrowed her brows, attempting to throw herself off of the strawberry boy so she could launch herself across the rocks outside of the hollow. "My mist is faster than your mist," she declared in a projected voice, urging Tomas to chase her and continue their game. Each step was harder than the last as the real mist began to thicken, distorting how the ground appeared below her paws.

His paw finds contact with his sister's face quite easily, and he giggles as she eats his toes. Were they tasty? He hoped so! My mist is bigga than yas! He exclaims as she wriggles free from his grasp and moves away from his small strawberry body. Lavender eyes watch as she pounces across rocks, and he scrambles to his feet. The boy is quick to follow suit, launching himself at the rocks and trying his best to follow his sister. He wanted to eat her tail - to show her that his mist was better because it was going to eat her.

"Mine is stronger!" She piped up, leaping from one rock to the next. She pushed her growing muscles to keep going, determined not to let her brother best her on that day. While Tomas was closer to her size than the others, he still managed to dwarf her by a fair amount. It did not make her eager to go easy on him, ever, as the odds would always be stacked against her. Their father had made this endlessly clear to her.

"Wanna race home?" Sedona piped up to ask over her shoulder, tempted to take off without waiting for an agreement.

The mist continues to enshroud everything in its path whilst the two young Casales children played. Perhaps it was dangerous for them both to be doing so, but who was there to stop them?

Tomas' eyes watch the rear end of his sister as she steams ahead, and he tries his best to follow her as best as he could. Yeah? He called out, eventually catching her smaller legs and attempting to tackle her to the ground with a giggle. Well, mine is faster. And better, cause I beat ya. He remarks with a grin, before moving off of her smaller frame.

Racing home sounded like a good idea, and he nodded. First one back wins, and last back has to... His voice fades away for a brief moment, trying to think of a forfeit. Has to bring the other food for the rest of da month! He exclaims, praying that he would win the race.
