Tessarion had grown inconsistent in her wanderings of Amaryllis, busying herself where she could and beginning to integrate herself into the masses. No one here had yet to truly know her and if they did, they had never approached her a second time by shouting her name. Not that she had ever expected anyone to take the time to remember it as she was accustomed to being the pariah in any social setting. Today, though, she was feeling some kind of way as she traveled across this land that her paws had drifted her towards and hoped to find the reason as to why its gravitational pull was so strong.

The dreary landscape around suddenly transforms into its once majestic state. The ash has disappeared and has been replaced with lush green as far as the eye can see. Better enjoy it while it lasts.. unless there is some way to help this become a reality?

Yarrow had assumed that they had known every aspect of this Jungle but this was certainly something new to the hybrid. When had the land of ash had a rebirth? It almost fit into the rest of the Jungle rather than this gaping hole that had always been there. Still there was a lingering smell of the ash that had once been here before.

It would seem someone else had been drawn to the area as well. Or else just passing through? Perhaps someone that had come for the lingering worth to diminish the chill of the world outside of the thick trees of the Jungle.

"Odd, isn't it?" The lipard spoke out from their perch within the surrounding trees. The hybrid had yet to try out the sudden growth. There were too many what if's about it, the main one being would it even support their weight?

It is beautiful, she commented idly as she then swiveled to turn to face @Yarrow, expecting a lion and receiving, well, she didn't know. Brain said lion but she knew it couldn't be that for they did not categorize within either with absolute. Tessarion did not even know that this place had been a land of dead trees for some time now and coming upon it and seeing a mass land of sudden regrowth, she felt overwhelmed by its becoming. Especially given how it had just happened in front of her. A land of dark colors quickly transforming into lush greens as far as the eye could see. Is there... some kind of... magic here? Truly, she must know otherwise she felt it was pertinent to see a medic quickly because she was most certainly seeing things.

"Always magic." Or at least that was what the lipard believed in. They had been raised with a healthy dose of superstition.There were a lot of things that the hybrid believed in. And then there was Squirrel. Squirrel visited while Yarrow slept and told them of things to come. But Squirrel hadn't mentioned this.

"Squirrel didn't say anything about the Jungle regrowing." The comment had been made idly. It wasn't expected for the lioness to know who Squirrel was. Squirrel seemed to be an entity that only visited Yarrow. Or maybe Squirrel showed up in a different for for others.

Yarrow eased themself out of the branches of the tree that they occupied and slid down the trunk of the tree to land upon the ground. "Are the trees real?" They couldn't help but to ask as they moved towards the newly formed trees in order to sniff at them.

Always magic, said the leopard-ish creature and Tessarion suddenly felt like she had a million answers. Like why were they so certain that it was magic? Or that it existed? And why here? Of course, the need to ask more questions only grew as @Yarrow mentioned a Squirrel but didn't speak of it as one, but rather a who. As though the name of whoever they talked about was named Squirrel. Odd but she'd heard stranger. Maybe Squirrel didn't know either? Not that she wanted to bash this Squirrel figure or what they may or may not know but it was the only thing she could think of to say to alleviate any misgivings that they didn't share with this leopard-ish lion. They sure look real... was also the only thing she had to say because otherwise, she was most certainly going to have to take a breather and rethink her life if they weren't.

"Maybe..." But typically Squirrel seemed to know everything before it happened. The hybrid had become so used to bits of foreknowledge that it felt weird to not have had any. "Squirrel knows lots of things. Squirrel warned when the world would turn white." Though now that Yarrow had a couple of years on them they had come to see that was a yearly occurrence, but at the time it had been the hybrid's first experience with winter.

Yarow made their way closer to the randomly sprouted trees. The hybrid simply had to reach out and check out the trees for themself. They had to know if they were real or not.

A tap of a paw against the trunk of one of the trees proved that it was solid enough. But how could that be? How could it have just grown so immediately? This was years and years worth of growth that had shown up in minutes. "Do you think they are going to stay or is this just some sort of trick?" Once again the hybrid wrapped a paw against the tree before looking back to the female. "Could we both be dreaming the same thing at the same time? Hurry, try and think of something else to happen." And with that Yarrow squeezed their eyes closed and concentrated hard on wishing a colorful starling into existence.
