The snow crunches beneath her paws, Icefang shaking off the white flurries that had landed on her pelt as she grumbles. She thought she was aching before? She felt stiff as she takes her time with each step. Her muscles needed to warm up and what better way than a hunt? She was doing her best to hide her age, but she was sure the others would eventually notice. Thankfully her ivory pelt helped to hide any hairs that could give her away. Managing to catch a scent, she hides in some brush as her ears pick up something ahead. She jumps out, startling the animal and begins running after it throwing a call over her shoulder for any of her pride mates that might be available to join.

Silently, the young heiress moved across the snow. Floppy ears twitched when the call reached her ears and she wasted no time heading towards it. Large paws tossed up snow as she came barreling towards @Icefang ♔ and their target. Leaping over a rock, she cut off their prey to direct it towards an area where it had little chance of escape. It was fast, but they were going to be faster. Even if it was just the two of them for now, they'd at the very least manage to tire the creature out. But she did hope that others would eventually show.

Arcania was well aware of the chaos that erupted nearby, and it seemed as though it was likely a hunt going on. Though, by the time she got there and could see through the chaos of the snow thrown in every direction by Etain, it seemed she was no longer needed. I can see why this place is so prized, if the prey simply wanders in even during the cold months, she commented. She had no doubt someone would be back to challenge for it again soon, but at least for now they could reap the riches of this place without having to worry. She also had no doubt that Icefang would put any potential challenger in their place. And, if not... Well Arcania could deal with that if it ever came to it.

She takes the antelope down easily on her own. Icefang lets go as its last breath fades away, her attention turning to Arcania and Etain as she drops her hold onto the creature. She smirks, proud that her skill has shown itself as she takes it down without help. "Perhaps you two will be as precise as me one day," she coos a soft tease to both adults. "Help yourselves," she offers pushing the animal at the shoulder to both women. "I'll be on the search for the next one. Try to keep up next time." Another jab as she attempts to gently bump against both as she departs between them.

Well, clearly she wasn't needed at all. But at least she had responded quickly, right? She managed to skid to a halt with snow flying everywhere. "I definitely need to get some more practice in this," Etain grumbled a little and stretched slowly. She couldn't help but chuckle at Arcania's words when the other arrived. "Guess the bitch was spouting all that bullshit because she was jealous that we now have this luck." The girl laughed and made her way to the dead antelope, taking a small piece before trotting after Icefang to follow her in the search for another delicious target.

Doubtful, Arcania commented. Icefang was in a league of her own, at least to her mind. She said to help themselves but at the moment Arcania was full. They'd been having such good luck at their hunting, after all. She was eager to see what things would be like in the spring and summer when it was traditionally easier.

Since she wasn't about to let her presence go completely to waste, she began carrying the catch back to the cache once the other two had departed. No doubt the little ones would appreciate a fresh meal. Soon enough, she would expect to see her son assisting with the hunts. His presence wasn't needed just yet, but she had no doubt they would eventually run into larger prey.
