The witchling had made her way further from the Lagoon than usual, since being found by the fox she'd stayed close to home healing and regaining her strength. She was looking better less bony and starved. Yet her body hadn't fully recovered. As she entered the shade of the chamber she was heaving for breath and the blood was roaring in her ears as she flopped down exhausted from the walk and climb.

Meisia didn't really know the dangers of caverns nor did she care at the moment. All she could feel was the pain radiating from her tired body and her lungs burning with every deep breath. She wanted to cry but stubbornness rose as anger and disgust bubbled in her gut. She was not gonna cry, she wasn't a baby nor was she that weak.

Tired eyes scanned the room the odd shimmer on the ground catching her attention as she stared at it unvilling to get up and take a closer look. Well, she would in a moment when her legs stopped shaking and hurting.

First, she learns that Evren had lied to her and it had been over something stupid and she realized that now, understanding why he lied. It still hurt but she would get over it. Especially if she wanted to keep him as a friend. And then after that, Elio left and put her as head of the Saxe family which caused a whole new wave of uncertainty to seep into her bones. Heisa knew that some of her siblings were prisoners in the Mire. Some decided to stay in the Oasis while she was trying to leave and some were in the Summit but there were a few that were uncounted for and she found it as it was her duty to find them all and figure out what to do.

But for now, the newest Saxe matriarch traveled through the labyrinth and into the chambers where her lavender jewels locked onto a familiar figure. Ears falling flat on her head as she would move closer, sniffing her sister's body. She smelled of the Lagoon, though Heisa knew that the fox had gone there she didn't know anyone else but it looked like @Meisia had been gaining her weight back but it still worried her. Meisia? Her voice echoed as she was careful on where she stepped.

Her name echoed off the cavern walls in a voice both familiar and foreign at the same time. The witchling hadn't thought much of her half-siblings since her departure from the Oasis. She'd never gotten to be close to any of them. Yet she still lifted her head and looked around having to crane her neck slightly to find the sibling who had called out her name.

Lavender hues met her gaze, the color of family to the witchling. So many of Aeistrios's offspring carried some shade of his coloration.

"Yes?" she asked back blinking her mismatched gaze at her sister pushing herself around so she was facing the yearling. Meisia didn't get up, didn't see why she should. She still felt tired and exhausted so lying was far better than standing. "Everyone went missing" she spoke as if @Heisa didn't already know that. "Are you missing too, Heisa?" Meisia asked looking at her sister who was right there unlike the rest of their family.

@Meisia moved and a sigh of relief came from the Saxe Matriarch as she watched her little sister. Once again looking over her sister's fragile body, a body that should be healthy and strong to show off the signs of a true Saxe but that was not the case. Heisa felt like she had failed her sister and allowed this to happen. The sight of her sister, though Meisia looked like she was getting healthier, it just didn't sit well with Heisa.

The Lagoon's scent on her sister's pelt meant that perhaps the Lagoon was a safe place for the Saxe and Heisa made a mental note on going to visit the High Sovereign to thank her, or him, Heisa didn't know which one and didn't care. I'm not missing, Meisia, I'm right here in front of you. She would state, slightly confused on what her sister was saying. Who took you to the Lagoon? She knew the fox was there but was he the reason she was there?

Meisia would huff annoyance in her tone as she shook her head, that wasn't what she meant. Of course, Heisa was right there. Meisia could see her and smell her and everything. But she didn't smell like a Saxe anymore. Not like they all had when Father ruled paradise. When everyone was home and warm and everything was good. Before everyone went missing.

"No, missing from paradise, from our family" the witchling spoke trying to get her sister to understand what she'd meant. "Everyone's missing, gone" she echoed looking at her sister with her mismatched gaze almost as if expecting @Heisa knew something more. Her sister was older and bigger than her. That had to mean knowing stuff. So maybe Heisa knew where everyone was, what had happened to paradise, and when they would be going back.

At her sister's question about the lagoon, the witchling's oversized ears tipped forward. "Threw a fish in the ocean and then Abdul appeared," the witchling told her sister, feeling certain that the fish part was important. "He brought me to the lagoon, I have my own den there" she informed her sister feeling a sense of pride at the fact she had her very own den now.

After first, Heisa did misunderstand her sisters words but when @Meisia spoke again rephrasing her words and Heisa understood it easily this way. Ears twisting on top of her head as she would glance around the area that her sister was laying in before putting her lavender gaze back to the purple sister. No one is missing, I know where some of them are even if it isn't in the Oasis. She would state, making sure her sister understood that no one was lost or missing but they were just scattered for the time being, which Heisa wanted to fix.

Meisia explained that she had thrown a fish into the sea and then the fox found her. A small smile formed on her features as Heisa would listen as her sister explained that Abdul had taken her to the Lagoon where she had her own den but most importantly, she was safe. Good, you are safe there. Stay there with the fox until I can figure out where we are going to go, alright? Heisa wanted her sister to be safe and right now, the Lagoon was it.

@Heisa spoke again revealing she did indeed know where their other siblings were. Or rather some, which then didn't make sense because that meant she didn't know where everyone was. Then again as her thoughts spun, only five other Saxe seemed to take importance. "My siblings?" A few months ago the witchling could have done without all of them. A small den filled with eight squirming children had been a crowded experience. But now, she found herself missing her annoying brothers and her more palatable sisters.

Heisa spoke about her safety and more or less told her to stay in the lagoon until Heisa told her otherwise. The wicthling huffed narrowing her eyes. Why was Heisa telling her what to do now? Who'd put her in charge? Meisia had done just fine on her own she didn't need any bossy older sister to tell her what to do! Then again maybe Heisa had found a way to go back to paradise, to gather their family. The thought mellowed out her annoyance. "Go where? I like the lagoon" the witchling admitted her ears twitching on top of her head.

Yes, even your siblings. She would state, giving her sister a softer smile then what anyone else would've thought Heisa was capable of. I plan to call everyone to see who is still here, I hope to see you there. She wasn't sure where (even though that thread is happening bahahah) but she'd call and they would come. Heisa just wasn't sure how any of them were going to react and she wasn't sure how she was going to react to their reactions either. But it was when @Meisia huffed and narrowed her eyes did Heisa raise an eyebrow.

She thought about what her sister said and found that there was no reason to remove her sister from the Lagoon when she was safe and content. Even if Heisa were to take a pride for herself and gather them all into one pride. A slight nod came from her head finally, I won't take you from the Lagoon unless you want to be removed from it. You're safe there with whoever is its leader and Abdul there too. She'd have to go and find the fox later.

And of course, this was getting her nowhere, she wanted to know where her siblings were. Well, at least she'd get to see them soon as @Heisa seemed to be planning a meeting. the witchling nodded her head "I'll be there, where are you gonna call us?" it would help to know ahead of time, would make traveling to her sister's meeting spot faster and hopefully keep Abdul from pestering her about being gone for a few days. (Because Meisia had small legs and going anywhere too far from the beaches would probably take her more than a day)

Well, at least she wasn't going anywhere. "I don't" she responded shaking her head "Unless paradise becomes ours again I'm staying in the Lagoon" That completed things, didn't it? Meisia knew Heisa was trying to gather them, she'd hopefully know too where in a second and she was perfectly safe and happy in the lagoon.

"I'm going to go home" she decided staring and looking at her sister waiting to see if she would say anything else.
