Caillen after her last public event had taken herself out of the loop, seeing so much blood and dispair had made her extremely sick and scared of everything...she didn't want to see more lions getting hurt, no more sad and unfair events that only brought pain and sorrow to those unlucky enough to come across such things. She didn't even try to return to the Oasis or to anything she deemed familiar. She didn't want to worry them, all she wanted was peace. Perhaps it was better for her to go her own way, with new connections. This didn't mean she wanted to stop being her father and mother's daughter, all she wanted was a more peaceful place to live. And as such she had been a rouge for the past months now.

Today she had taken refuge wherever she found. That was until heavy rain and thunder came through the skies..and the place she had picked as the shelter wasn't big enough to shield herself from the intense waterfall. In a rush she made it deeper, until she was met with the borders of pride..of course, she didn't cross them. She though curled up into a corner nearby, she was all dripping wet and shaking feeling her tiny body cold.

Alexander's large form moved along the borders of his pride at a leisurely pace. The storm clouds overhead had hinted at foul weather approaching, so he'd picked up the pace a bit to finish up his patrol. Blue eyes darted along the territory, making sure to mark where he could before moving on. A small form caught his attention, almost missed due to her drenched coat, but the shivering had caused enough movement to allow those pale eyes to focus in. Brows furrow, his large form approaching the tiny girl quietly. Head lowers, nostrils flaring to take in her scent - a rogue. "Hello, little one, are you lost? Do you need shelter?" Even as he said these words, the Hollows King would move to stand over her protectively, shielding her from the worst of the rain - patient gaze peering down at her.

The rain kept falling down like a cascade, thunder echoing through the dark night skies. And the small Caillen was suffering the full force of it, and with how small she was, it was hard to not get cold and fast. Her longer fur wasn't going to make any difference, and as water dripped freely from her wheat hairs she internally wished for relief. But just when she was losing any hope...a male..someone she had seen in passing was now standing over her...shielding her from the rain. Well, she knew she was close to the borders of a pride. So having someone here wasn't a rare thing to expect.

"Oh. Hello there sir!" She greeted with that usual enthusiastic nature of hers. That made her, her. "It seems I got caught by the storm hehe, silly me." She said smiling. "Thank you," She said with a shivering voice from the cold.

She was rather welcoming, and enthusiastic - both pleasing things and he enjoyed her willingness to meet him. It was refreshing, but did worry him some. Ears sweep back a bit, a single brow arching as she called herself silly. "The weather can be unpredictable at times." He muses idly, turning his gaze up to the sky a moment as he noticed the rain was letting up some. "Is there something I can help you with....?" He trailed off, his tone a question of her name. Looking back down to her, the beast offers a gentle, welcoming smile. Was she here to join, or simply tin the rain conveniently close to his borders.

Caillen is grateful with this humble man, it was refreshing to find kindness after all the bloodshed and suffering she had witnessed not long ago. If only all lions were like this..there wouldn't be more death, more spilled blood, and more broken families..but even someone as naive as she was, knew that wasn't possible. Yet she wanted to still act well on her own, to be kind and enjoy the good things out there.

She nods and thinks on his question...this could easily be a pride she didn't know off. Of course, she had seen this guy in passing in either a challenge and when she used to live on the Oasis for a brief time. Perhaps the new start she was looking for could be in these walls. "Well, if I am honest with you. I am looking for a new home, where I can start again. Away from..all I knew until now! I can offer my hunting skills and I can also sing and tell stories!" It might didn't sound very useful but for her it was everything.

A singe ear perks up as she speaks, blue eyes peering at the girl curiously. "Oh?" He quips softly, curious. The beast falls silent for a moment as he notices the rain dying down fully, finally. Stepping away from @Caillen to give her some room and not invade her space any further, he turns to slip in toward the pride borderlands. "Well...I have some children that could use stories, I bet. Extra teeth in a hunt are always welcome as well." Turning, Alexander motions with a paw to guide her deeper within the Hollows, toward the cavern entrance. He could give her a tour of her new home.

Caillen listens patiently, giving him the room to speak. She was a bit nervous but not enough to be visible in her wheat features. The fact that he seemed nice and how courteous he was made her nervousness decrease with time. And soon enough she was all calml and nodding she listens. Many cubs to tell stories too! And she would be able to perform as a hunter, something she was confident with saying it was her best skill, her best tool to offer to a pride's benefit. "Sounds good! Then consider it done! Thank you so much for your kindness sir." And like that she followed him into the caves, going away from the rain. She needed to get herself dry and get familiar with her new home.
