Janus appeared on the coast like an apparition.

Morbid curiosity had lead him here. The once sickly, frail cub had began to take better form as the dawn of his second year loomed in the horizon. He gazed upon the moonlit pass while the seaborn winds whipped against his skin. His mane hadn't quite come in fully yet it still lashed at his eyes, pinching them shut irritably as he moved further from the shore.

His leggy, thin frame glided across the sand seemingly without effort. When he was satisfied with the distance from the water, and he didn't feel so battered, Janus hopped upon the crest of a boulder. Settling upon the stone, he idly groomed the fur on his front legs and simply waited to see what would happen. If nothing, than he would venture inland and take a look himself.

The sands of the passage did little to hide her, and she was somewhat thankful that hiding and being a creature of the shadows was not really her strong suite. Instead, Eisa was more forward, eager to meet those here and eager to try to recruit them. She strolled along the sands, moving against the wind that buffeted her fur- ripping through her growing mane, and spraying her with the sea water.

Yet, she did not stray from the water, she did not do anything but stroll- as her eyes came to pass over a stranger in the distance- along the sands. She moved towards them, noting the male as she neared appeared to maybe be about her age, and so when she spoke- it was with warm and jovial tones.

"Hello! My name is Eisa, Heiress of Veremeda Brook. Welcome to Amaryllis."

"You're welcoming a Stärke," Bruno chided lowly as he approached that moonlit scene by stepping out of the shadows. He cast his emerald gaze upon a matching set, though the stripes covering the young male suggested one certain maternity above the others. Thus was the reality for the eldest of Alaric's offspring: to differentiate between swarms of young usurpers by whatever lingering traces of their mothers they possessed. The prince twitched his whiskers as he regarded the rogue.

"Where have you been?" He thought to ask. After all, even those younger than this one seemed to have more of a lingering presence in Bruno's peripherals, whereas he could hardly trace a memory back to this younger brother. Bruno rotated his ears like radars, the feeling of an enemy's presence in their conversation prickling the fur at the back of his neck. "Ecrosia is still the family home. I'm sure father would want to see you," he insisted with a gruff nod. I'm sure he'd have my tail if I did not bring you back.

Time passed in silence as he watched shadows twitch in the moonlit dark. Silence, however, was a fickle thing. A voice trilled over the sibilance of the waves. Far too pleasant sounding for the time of night. His tail flicked once as he turned his head to regard her from the top of his rock.

She looked no older than he was and divulged as much information as he could've needed in one fell swoop. Janus adjusted the way he was laying to his other hip and settled back in with a small exhale. A smirk delicately touched the corner of his lips at her welcome. If only you knew.

"You're welcoming a Stärke,"
The shadows spoke and a figure was birthed from them. Janus watched him with a curious lift of his brow until they locked eyes. "Here and there," he replied dismissively. It didn't really matter where he was or wasn't. The way he spoke in terms of 'father' implied their relation enough. Pushing up from his perch and relinquishing it, he landed before the two lions with a soft thud in the cool sand. His eyes shifted to focus on the first arrival, strolling smoothly towards them.

"As I do very much appreciate the warm welcome," he paused a beat, flicking forest eyes towards the other, "It appears I have some family matters to attend to." His voice was not much more than a whisper, low and lacking energy. Janus was very particular about how he utilized what little energy he possessed and matching tones for the sake of formality was low on the list.

Had someone else shown up, or the other arrived a little later, he might have entertained the offer they surely had. Instead, he dipped his head in polite dismissal, turning his attention to the older male. "I suppose I should let dear old dad know I'm alive," he murmured compliantly.

Take me to him.

He knew that scent from anywhere.

Aeistrios had not been to the passage for a good while since the declaration of war between prides - conserving his energy, his efforts. However, with Renfri having their cubs and intruders finding way to his lands... he sought to venture out once more. Being idle hadn't served the Pride well, and now as he walked the passage he found himself his target.

He aimed to near in a casual stride, but as his gaze landed upon @Eisa , he felt the itch of anger along his limbs. He remembered the way she fought against him - fought to help steal away his pregnant wife. How he had to exert himself past normal to defend her after already defending himself in a battle. She was alone here, no other Brook members to aid her yet - how naive she was to be trekking out alone during times of war.

War she helped cause.

"Little Kitty... " His purple gaze made it known the Mire male or the Rogue were not any of his interests at the moment, solely peering at the Maroon fur of Eisa. "Bold you are to be walking around, after what you had done." He attempts to stalk closer to her, a lip lifting to reveal his fangs. "But.... you aided to cause war... so I suppose it is right you deal with the consequences." And for Cassandra to feel the ache of seeing her youth harmed, after she let members of her pride hurt pregnant wife. Aeistrios saw that as an act to hurt his kids... it was only fair he pay it back.

He lungs then, a sudden move that has muscle rippling forward, claws outstretched in an attempt to grab at Eisa with hostile force and bring her into him. He was sure others would hear the chaos, and perhaps Eisa would be like her cowardly mother - and have someone else fight her battles. But for now, she was his target. Rightfully so.

Of course he should target Eisa. The younger, the easier victory. Of course that would be his fixation because to target the real instigator, the one who would have happily continued to actually fight his pregnant wife over and over, was a much harder fight. And if Aquila knew nothing it's that Aeistrios was a cowardly and weak man. It may be war now but it has been war all along since he and his stench came to the Brook and was sent packing with his tail between his legs.

An act Aquila hoped he'd see again soon.

As readily as the plains bastard arrived for a fight so did the Brook Noble. He attempted to approach perpendicularly to Aeistrios's right hind hip at a full run from the side. He shoved his right shoulder forwards as he charged and aimed to knock it into Aeistrios's right hip. His left paw lifted and aimed to reach across under Aeistrios and grab the lion's lower left hind limb just above the ankle joint.

He wasn't sure what damage he was able to cause to @Eisa in his short span of attack time, for he felt the intrusion of @Aquila in the form of an attack to his hind hip. His back-end is rocked, his bodice forced from Eisa as his front legs stumble to maintain his balance, avoiding falling over to the side from the charge. Pain flares - tender muscle screaming at him from his hip, the blow of Aquila's weight hefty and hurtful. However, Aeistrios felt a bewildered emotion of joy to be battling this particular male. The one who first laid motion to trying to steal his wife. The one who threatened her - threatened his unborn children - the brute who sealed his own fate the moment he touched Renfri. Aquila's paw tries to unbalance him further, but luckily Aeistrios had started to get his footing again, and felt only a soreness from where their limbs had met. His own paw would raise, attempting to slash into the sides of Aquila while his jaws splayed and he aimed to bite at his face. 'You're welcoming a Stärke,' Those words clang through her and her eyes widened with surprise as she turned her head to appraise the male approaching. This male, he smelled of the Mire and his attention was to the stranger before her. She blinked in surprise, and looked back to the Mire male, and then the other. "Oh, well... I wish you well on your journey home." She said simply, ready to leave it at that. Enemies or not, she could be polite, because she was representing her pride. "Safe travels." She said to the males- @Bruno ♔ and @Janus, as she moved to turn away- just as a familiar scent came into her nose- and filled her with dread and irritation.

@Aeistrios appeared, and his words made her flatten her ears as she focused on him, and before she could speak, he was attacking! What?! His claws sank into her, pulling her close to him- and ripping into her body, as she scrambled to right herself, to prepare to fight- and then..

Uncle @Aquila was there and he was fighting. Eisa heaved herself free of the male, and spun to face them, her body trembling with the pain of her wounds as she watched the battle, and prayed silently to Vellen for the victory of her uncle- that he wouldn't be harmed for her.

Aquila does not relent, displeased that this lion still stands he surged forwards again and with a small push off the ground, attempted to align his teeth over the plum brute and bite across the top of the Plain's King's spine at about the midway point. His left forelimb swings upwards with the movement and aims to drape over top of the other's hips and pelvis with claws extended aiming to grab flesh across the top.

Simultaneously his right side sustains three long tears, carved from flesh by claw that did not gain a grip as Aquila moved into his next attack and jostled them free to let blood spill down his bronze side. The right side of his face, around nears the temple region, also suffers abrasive like tears as teeth easily break and make bleed the thin vascular rich flesh.

He feels fangs at his spine - feels the puncture wounds of the bite, but adrenaline coaxes the agony and graces him with a numbness instead. He feels the claws raking through skin across the top of his hips (?) and grunts, happy that his fangs at least caused tears to Aquila's face and his claws had done some damage as well. Aeistrios attempts to press closer, unsheathed claw attempting to swipe out at his forelimb that was rooted to the ground, all while his jaws aim to bite at Aquila's shoulder this time. He is sure he is starting to look like a bloody mess, but Aeistrios didn't mind, not when he was getting his revenge. If only he could tear the life from this male... but alas, that might be saved for later in their future instead of now.
