The hold he now had upon her did feel a little awkward, Vulferam not quite expecting the way his body stretched out to both grip her midsection while also doing the same with her neck. But he wasn't going to give up that move just yet; no, instead he would curl his toes on his right forepaw in an attempt to hook his unsheathed claws into her skin. And as his fangs sunk into the center of her back would be what seemed to drive the girl into action. She bucked, the sudden thrust causing for his chin to be hit on impact. With a grunt and a growl, the Prince attempted to bite down harder of what he had ahold of, but now allowed for his front left leg to release the wrap around her neck. "Want to find out?" His words would be muffled, his left paw now moving downward back toward him. While it did this, Vulferam would attempt to have his claws rake down the front of her neck and chest in a diagonal manner.

There is anger and frustration coursing through her at the realization that she is trapped beneath him. Her ears plaster backwards, her energy focused in the thrust of her hind end as she bucks upward. Thankfully the motion was enough to loosen his hold on her back but it only seemed to aid his plight in causing her damage. Want to find out? He says before claws rake haphazardly down her neck and chest, leaving angry lacerations in their wake. Vera is infuriated that he would injure her to this extent, all fun and games gone out the window now. Oh no, now she was pissed. Her fury causes her to retaliate, jaws snaking out quickly as she attempts to grab hold of his left forepaw before he could tuck it back against him completely. Her teeth were greedy for vengeance, hoping to clasp the paw and crunch if she was lucky enough for it. Simultaneously her left forepaw would attempt to swing upward and out to try and swat at his face, claws unsheathed and searching.

Maybe it was the need to prove that he was superior and stronger than the yearling that caused for him to be more brutal than what he had intended. But with the way she seemed to be egging him on only caused for his nerves to itch with frustration. So whenever his claws sliced at the flesh upon her chest, Vulferam would find himself flinching at the wound he had just created; he didn't want to make them that deep! A clouded mind distracted him from her snapping jaws, a sudden pain jolting through his limb as she latched onto his left paw. He'd left out a shocked snarl, causing for his own hold on her back to release as well as the grip around her midsection.

As his right front paw hit the ground, the left side of his face would find itself being smacked by an unsheathed paw. They hooked into his left cheek, and as the white hot sensation caused for his cheek to sting, Vulferam would attempt to yank himself away, perhaps causing more damage by trying to forcefully remove her claws from his flesh. "Hey! I didn't mean that!" And maybe his words were half true. But with his paw still in between her jaws, Vulferam would try to attempt to headbutt the side of her, attempting to make her unbalanced and maybe lessen her grip on his paw enough so that he could snake it away.

She was angry and rightfully so! She hadn't expected that @Vulferam would butcher her chest and shoulders. The wounds were deep and stung with every little movement that she did. Not to mention the blood that now stained her abyss fur. Anger was an understatement actually, she was furious. Hey! I didn't mean that! He tries to explain but she doesn't want to hear anything that he has to say. All she can see is the red-hot fury that is pushing her onward. "You did! She hisses in retaliation, though not before her jaws are snapping again, this time aiming for his face in the process. Maybe it would be something that she would come to regret later on but in the moment it felt right. She wanted retribution for the pain she was experiencing. It was only fair. She is huffing and irritated, puffed up and all anger and fire before she moves away from him with a glower. How dare he. And the fact he tried to pretend as if he didn't mean it! He meant it, he wanted to hurt her.

Vulferam feels the relief of his paw being freed, only to be met with snapping jaws to the left side of his face. It brought with it a sting, a throbbing pain that made him both wince and snarl. "Let me go!" As he demands of the girl to release him, Wolf would smack a forepaw at her while also pulling his face from her grasp. "Look, I said I didn't mean it!" He'd jump backward to give them some space, panting and feeling exhausted while his body was bleeding and bruised. "You don't have to come back to Ecrosia. I was just trying to have some fun..." Fun including claws and bloodshed, but fun nonetheless. Coal eyes watch her for a moment before they shifted down toward the ground, noticing the blood that strained the greenery that was around them. Yeouch.

She is absolutely furious, her whole body taut with tension and pain. Let me go! Look, I said I didn't mean it! He explains while jumping back and reluctantly Vera allows @Vulferam the space he desired. Though she is still fuming, her anger overriding the pain that riddled her chest and shoulders. You don't have to come back to Ecrosia. I was just trying to have some fun... He adds and that only fuels her anger even further. "Fun?! You call that fun?" She snaps at him, ears plastered against her head and eyes ablaze. "No, you don't get to back out now. Your stuck with me whether you like it or not." She snaps at him, and also because she might have just secured a home for herself. Maybe it was selfish leaving her family to fend for themselves, but it was a dog-eat-dog world out here. Vera knew that the protection of a pride was necessary. "You said you were a prince didn't you? Well Prince.. take me to your Kingdom." She hisses with a lash of her tail. They were in this together, like it or not she'd be joining him back in the Mire. And he'd be tending to these wounds he created. "I need to know your name.. in the very least so I know what to curse vehemently." She adds then, magenta gaze narrowed.

He can hear the assumed anger in her words which only caused for Vulferam to flinch slightly, ears pinning themselves backward into the thick of a black mane; it seemed as though the rough housing he typically did with his brothers wasn't exactly favored amongst all. But even with her anger she tells him that he cannot back out of the deal they had made, causing for brows to furrow in slight confusion. She wanted to go with him back to Ecrosia even after he told her she didn't have to? Did this always happen when someone claimed another?

Wolf was snapped back to reality whenever she demanded to know his name, shoulders seeming to drop some. "Vulferam Stärke," he finally says, dark eyes looking over at her before they flickered in the direction his - their - home was located. "Most call me Wolf, though." A sheepish grin appears as he speaks of his nickname, and before he waits to hear whatever response she was going to give him he turns in the direction of home. "I guess follow me... What's your name?" The Prince would be surprised if she decided to indulge him with her own name at the current moment.

Vulferam Stärke, Most call me Wolf, though. I guess follow me... What's your name? Vera moves to follow after @Vulferam despite the burning sensation coming from her newly acquired wounds. "Vera Frei." She says to him quietly, still mulling over the realization that she had secured herself a new home. It hadn't been pretty but it would do. It beat being a rogue with no place to go, that much was certain. Of course she was curious of what this new home of hers would be like but she didn't voice those thoughts. Instead she would follow behind Wolf, gaze somewhat eager all the while.
