December 13, 2024 After winning the challenge for Wolfbron Bluffs and becoming the fourth Dieudonné to hold the crown, Lazare releases all the members and ends the longest standing pride's reign over the island. After seven years of the Bluffs being held by the same family, it now sits empty, waiting for the next chapter of it's leadership.

December 6, 2024 Death came to a witch hunter after she called for the death of Karsa, with Kvare answering it causing Miaran to fall. Lazare Dieudonné challenges Louve Dieudonné for Wolfbron Bluffs. Snow seems to be falling in the middle of the summer as strange animals show up and offer a tempting meal for those brave enough to jump in.

November 8, 2024 Scorpius has gone missing and in his place Zaahir steps up to take the throne of Andal Oasis. How this change of leadership will shake things up in the lands, only time will tell.

October 11, 2024 Something is happening in the Scorched Wilds. There is a battle raging between a familiar force and an unfamiliar one. What will you do? Help or hinder?

October 1, 2024 Spooky things are happening as the afterlife start walking among the living once again.

September 30, 2024 Louve Dieudonné manages to keep Wolfbron Bluffs in the family. What will happen between the Bluffs and the otherwise peaceful pride of Lorien Plains?

September 20, 2024 Ilarion Rurik challenges for Wolfbron, will the Dieudonné lead pride fall?

September 8, 2024War broke out once again in the Lagoon when a wedding had some uninvited guest arrive. The war results in the most death matches the island has seen at once. The Summit was challenged by Brighid with Talisa answering the call. After many years of the Summit have the same two leaders, the Summit changes hands. What will this mean for the balance of Amaryllis? A witch hunt has started by Luther and Miaran which seems to be turning things on an island that is full of magic.

August 25, 2024 War broke out in the challenge for the Lagoon after Cassius tries to take the Lagoon from Isla. The Cove remains with Miaran. The leadership of the Mire switches from Sigrún hold to Rike when Luther comes back to take his birthland back. Elephants push into the Rainforest and push out the lions there. Soon after Lucifer lays claim to his birthland and takes over the Rainforest.

June 27, 2024 Conflict and tensions rise as prides come head-to-head with one another across Amaryllis - just as Pyrrha and Cassius take the leap to try and claim (or reclaim) their own thrones.

May 24, 2024 Rulers continue to shift, family strife ensues, and, per usual, tensions seems taunt and always lingering on the horizon.

April 24, 2024 Things are rocky within Amaryllis as the Dieudonne clash result in three deaths and forces a shift in the rulership of Firnen Rainforest. With Caladan Cove freshly overturned as well, what will the consequenecss of these events be?

March 30, 2024 The lull has ended as a long standing family, the Dieudonné, launch death matches against their own. The Plains sees a challenge from a new comer, Aphrodite, and the quite pride is pushed into the spotlight.

March 19, 2024 A momentary lull has overtaken the lands of Amaryllis as its inhabitants attempt to find their footing and rebuild after a string of challenges. How long it will last, however, nobody can be quite sure.

February 11, 2024 The Mire has fallen from the Stärke family and is now held by Luther Rike. The change has stirred but the fighting nature of those on the island. The Brook finds a new leader with Icefang and Isla takes over the Lagoon after a storm pushes out the old leader. Reti finds himself the leader of the Hollows after Alexander is hurt. The Oasis finds a new leader in Léonie who is soon tested by Harou.

January 8, 2024 The snow has finally begun to melt anew, which means that the world is slowly returning to the much-anticipated summer season. With the various holiday activities and the other jests put on by Nafasi also coming to a close, it is safe to say that winter is finally over.

December 5th, 2023 Nafasi had pulled a cruel trick and has sent Amaryllis back into a renewed winter season! But it's not all bad, because the lands will also see a handful of holiday-themed events popping up as a result. To make things more interesting, a wayward trio of travlers have also arrived and are facilitating a mass competition between the prides, bands, and rogues -- formally dubbed the Amaryllis Winter Games.

December 2nd, 2023 The spring air brings forth a number of pride challenges. A familiar challenger for the Cove and the Oasis arrive to try to earn what they want. The new leader of the Lagoon is tested in battle as well. What changes will come from the challenges? Who will remain standing and who will find their world turned upside down?

November 27th, 2023 In a challenge between mother and daughter, the leadership of Wolfbron Bluff changes for the first time in 5 IC years.

November 22nd, 2023 Two death matches, one resurrection, and an almost-war later, the lands find themselves in a constant state of turmoil and calamity. Families have been torn apart and endless blood has been spilt; but how is it all going to end?

November 3rd, 2023 The lands stir violently as a death match rages on between Aeistrios Saxe and Morrigan Greyflood. Observers spill into the pit in droves to witness what will no doubt be a historic battle -- and it is clear that this familial fued is far from over, no matter who wins and who dies.

October 12th, 2023 With winter comes the surge of more pride challenges; Ludivine challenges Ryker for Firnen Rainforest and is victorious in her endeavors, meanwhile an outcropping of maims breaks out on the sidelines. In a shocking turn of events Luther returns to challenge Bruno for Ecrosia Mire, will the former heir prove victorious or has Bruno got what it takes to keep his brother's ambitions at bay? This has undoubtedly shaken things up as Bruno declares war against Andal Oasis and Allies in the process!

Summer
The summer season has finally reached its peak. The sunshine is plentiful, the days are long and the air is hot and humid - but the evenings do not seem to provide the same relief that they once had, and remain somewhat stuffy. Thunderstorms have also began appearing more frequently, particularly in the rainforest and eastern region, though the rain is welcomed after a relatively dry season thus far.

Victory sings in her blood as she tears open the flesh of her opponent — for half a second she is fixated on the slash of blood on Ludivine’s lower jaw. A second that gives her a clue as to how she might react, and as Ludi is turning her head Louve is tensed.

As teeth close over her wrist she instinctively jerks the arm back, hooking her claws as she attempts to free her paw and perhaps cause some damage on the way out. Ludivine’s teeth are sharp and blood will spill, again, but Louve remains disconnected from the pain.

All that matters is blood, and suddenly she is thirsty for it.

As Ludi strikes out towards her elbow Louve dives forward with her teeth, baring them with a vicious snarl as she attempts to grab hold of the scruffy Dieu’s muzzle. Further incentive for her to release her wrist.

She winces as claws find their home in the crook of her elbow, adding a level of desperation to her attempt to pull it free. The skin there is thin and tender and tears easily, and sure enough the earth with be bathed with their blood.

Oleander knew better than to get in the way of women. If they wished to fight it out then so be it. He stayed silent and watched to see whom would take the honorary title. Because to him, that is all it was. Ambrosine would forever be Matriarch to him. She had been at the head when he had been introduced to the family and he couldn't see anyone else ever replacing her even if she was no longer present.

The large male did shift enough to make certain that he would remain out of the way of the fighting. If this Rogue lioness won would she then come to the Bluffs and take over the stronghold there?

She snags the hold around Louve’s wrist, teeth sinking into meat wet with blood. The biting force of a lion’s jaw would be enough to shatter bone easily, but the mottled lioness is already yanking her limb backwards and preventing such a catastrophe from happening. A snarl from Ludivine — I don’t think so. Muscles in her jaw tighten as she struggles to try and keep that grip, simultaneously continuing the momentum of her skull to the left by attempting to yank Louve’s arm with her. A tug-of-war with the lioness’ limb, if you will. She feels claws desperately claw at the air next to her, threatening to do further damage should her grip lapse — tips of them catch her lower jaw here and there in the process.

The movement of her own head prevents Louve from gaining a grip on her muzzle, but that isn’t to say her fangs do no damage at all. They split apart the flesh of her muzzle in their wake, one in particular catching her nose and slicing the sensitive flesh. It brings tears to Ludivine’s eyes from the pain, another snarl rumbling through her chest and blood falls down into her mouth — her own blood.

Her claws, meanwhile, managed to score a home run on their target. As much as Ludivine wants to rip deeper into Louve’s elbow, ruin her forever, she knows in a split second the mottled lioness would no doubt be back at her face once more. In an attempt to distract Louve away from trying the bite again, she instead yanks her right paw back to her body, before reaching up and attempting to slash at the underside of Louve’s exposed throat.

The grind of teeth against the bone of her wrist is dangerous -- potentially maiming -- and Louve thinks of nothing but freeing it. As Ludivine tightens her grip the mottled Heiress struggles more intensely, jerking her paw away from the grip, uncaring for the flesh that tears in her escape. Ludivine's head continues to the left and she can feel the pull in her shoulder, imagining she can hear the creak of bone beneath the deadly teeth. Those teeth lay waste to her wrist with the tugging between them and for a second she thinks it will surely snap. It is all the incentive she needs to give a final desperate jerk of her leg back towards her body, tearing her flesh badly but finally freeing her of the hold. Her wrist is shredded, the thin skin torn to the bone, and the pain is enough for her to pull a sharp hiss of air through her teeth as the wounds are exposed to air.

Her own attack misses its hold and she can only think herself half-blinded with the adrenaline coursing through her body. Her teeth scrape through the skin of Ludivine's nose but click shut, but there is no time to wallow in feelings of frustration. If anything they spur her on, lending a frenzy to her movements that could end badly for her if she was not careful.

Claws unhook from her elbow but there is no thud of a paw returning to the ground. It is enough to warn her that it is still in play and instinctively she leans back, away from the slash of claws. Her chin drops towards her chest as she does so and thus the scruffy bitch's claws do not sever her jugular. The skin near the bottom of her neck splits; blood pours down her chest, followed by a growl that rises up from it.

Louve doesn't think, she acts. Irrational and perhaps foolish, but she allows her weight to stay shifted back, attempting to lift both forepaws and strike out simultaneously. Claws unsheathed and attempting to slap down her opponent's face and chest, seeking to split the flesh open wherever she can reach.

Flesh is torn asunder — blood pools in its wake, filling Ludivine’s gluttonous maw and making her only that much more thirsty and hungry for more. Her eyes glint with hellfire as she tucks her bloodied jaws against her throat, salmon-coloured eyes swivelling to face her opponent head on. The attack to the mottled lioness’ neck is inconsequential, hardly a scratch compared to her intention and she’s quick to return her paw back to the ground, recentering her weight once more between all four limbs.

A subtle shift of movement in her opponent’s body, and then suddenly Louve’s placing her weight into her haunches alone — fool!

Ludivine is instantly on the move, ducking just enough to lunge forward and attempt to sink her fangs into the breast of her opponent. She’ll have her heart if nothing else. Her weight follows along with her, of course, propelling her forward and attempting to simultaneously throw her weight into Louve to once more try and unsettle her balance. Her movement means Louve’s claws don’t land across her face and chest as intended, but instead slightly further back.

Pain as though being burnt with fire blossoms from behind as claws dig into and lacerate the tops of her shoulders and all the way down the length of her biceps. Flesh rips and tears and burns, blood spilling forth from the weight of the attack and Ludivine just about wants to scream — but adrenaline fuels her to keep going.

Louve might be young but she has fought many fights; she expects that Ludivine will go for the chest, or her neck, or attempt to unbalance her in some way. If she manages to survive this encounter she might reflect on that choice and be angry for it; in the moment there is nothing she can do but react.

Instinctively her weight was braced on her hindlegs when her front lifted; now she attempts to grab hold with her forepaws, to sink her claws deeper in to the bicep muscles so that she does not tumble beneath her opponent. As the scruffy lioness shoves forward she fights to keep her balance, hindpaws flexing, the scrape of claws loud against the dry earth of the badlands. Ludivine's teeth slice through the muscle at the front of her chest and the pain is almost blinding and blood pours freely from the wound. There will be bruising as much as there is torn flesh; she would not escape the force behind the attack without consequence.

Immediately she reacts, lashing forward towards the target seemingly placed right beneath her nose. Tucking her chin she shoves her head down, attempting once more to latch her teeth over the top of Ludivine's neck, midway between her ears and her shoulders. A broken neck would be a nice way to put an end to things...

Louve clamps on and refuses to let go with her paws — no matter. Ludivine could work that to her advantage. Four paws still on the ground, she continues attempting to push forward, even when she feels claws sink deeper into her limbs. Should the mottled lioness continue to try holding on, Ludivine can only hope that her momentum could be an attempt to bend Louve uncomfortably in half in the process of her stubbornness.

Her teeth don’t do as much damage as she was hoping, but Louve makes a fatal mistake… She keeps her entire underside exposed, open; available to the French babe’s gluttonous appetite. She immediately redirects her jaws, skull reaching as fangs attempt to resituate themselves lower this time, closer to the underside of Louve’s sternum. She feels teeth meet her scruff, thicker than normal, and embed themselves there. Releasing a growl of frustration at the hold, Ludivine retaliates by lifting her right paw once more and attempting to slash at Louve’s underbelly, wanting nothing more than to eviscerate her.

(note: permission from ice to fix the open italic)

Louve's bite was rewarded with little more than scruff; thick fur that fills her mouth and makes her want to gag. She relinquishes it immediately and re-evaluates.

There is no time to think as Ludivine drives forward even more, teeth and claws threatening Louve's sensitive and vulnerable belly. She should back off -- she should look to escape the threat of evisceration. Instead she sees an opening and she seeks to take it.

As Ludi's teeth and claws slash towards her belly, Louve reachesforward rather than backs off. Shuffling slightly to the right she opens her jaws wide, attempting to shift her bite in order to grab hold of the girls spine just behind her shoulder. At the same time she looks to pull her left claws away from the bicep before attempting to slash them upand across Ludivine's neck.

There is a cost to this movement -- namely Ludivine's teeth sinking deep in to the left lower side of her sternum, a grip she can only hope to deter before it cracks bone. Her claws, too, slice deep in to the left lower side of Louve's belly, revealing peeks of fat and muscle before the wound pours blood.

A red mask, hiding the extent of the damage from sight, but Louve knows. It is bad, and it is sheer will and an edge of insanity that allows her to stay focused with little more than a sharp catch of her breath.
