He hadn’t meant to let so much slip, inwardly he would curse himself for it. He did not want others to feel sorry for him. He was a warmonger, capable of taking the pain of a heartbreak…wasn’t he? Wasn’t he doing just fine on his own? Even at the thought, he knew it wasn’t so. He was curled in a den with a stranger, letting her press her now warm body against his form for what he took as more than just comfort. Yet, he would consider the things Nephthys had said to him, why not have some fun while his heart bled? Why not try to mend that wound by relieving some stress?

@Artemisia’s words would shake him from his thoughts, her soft words making a slight smile pull at his lips. He didn’t necessarily want to be spoken to in that way, but he also understood that he had put her in an incredibly awkward situation. speech Only if you want to be. He would rumble quietly as her breath hitched at his nose touch. Her gaze would shift from him to the distance and back, repeatedly, before finally she would sink back into him, burying her face into the thick of his mane. Ronin would curl his neck, arching it so that it would hang near the other side of her skull in a form of embrace. He wouldn’t resist the urge to nip at her neck and ear- if she allowed it. For now, he would take the red woman’s advice and throw his own morals and codes to the side…maybe it would help him forget Slaine.

The curl of his neck would cause for a rather husky purr to begin, continuing to inhale and exhale his scent as she stayed burrowed into his mane. And then a nip at her neck, another upon her ear. Artemisia would feel her heart quicken in beat, feeling frozen where she were for the time being. She could feel her body warming up, more so from his actions than by his body heat alone, and as he continued to nip would she pull her head away from him in a reluctant manner; if she could, she would stay curled in his mane forever.

She would gaze upon him with heavy lids, maw opening slightly only to be shut again. She wasn't sure what to say in the moment, unsure what @Ronin's gesture meant nor knowing what intentions were and weren't laid out before them. And before she could register what her body was doing would the earth maiden aim to give him a nip of her own at his jawline, teeth working just hard enough to give an excitable pinch. Just as swiftly as she attempted the move would she draw herself back, and a beat later was her body laying itself on her side onto the cold ground. Her body would twist itself so that her front half was facing him while on her side, her bottom half now flat with her hind limbs curled toward her belly like she were about to rabbit kick. No words would come from her, only a forepaw batting at his chest gently, crimson eyes looking up at him.

Ronin wasn’t quite sure what he was doing, let alone what she was doing. She offered to stay with him all night- not like she had much of a choice in the winter weather that raged outside but he wouldn’t stop her if she wanted to leave. The warmonger heard the husky purr that she gave, it spurred him on, for a moment. But then she was pulling away from him, gazing up at him with reluctance. Had he done something wrong? His ears would fold back, uncertain.

After a moment, she would move forward, offering a nip of her own at his jaw, a husky growl would rumble in his chest, enjoying the feeling- but just as quickly, it was gone and he was left wanting yet again. His head tilted to the side, peering at her with confusion. Almost immediately, she would shift, her flank curling in so that her hind feet pressed against her belly, as if she were going to rabbit kick him. In the same motion she would bat at him playfully with her forepaw, red eyes peering up at him. I don’t understand. He would admit, eyes shifting from her playful front to the coiled nature of her hind end- ready to kick him in the belly. What do you want of me, @Artemisia? Unfortunately, her playful manner only confused him more, she would have to spell out what she wanted.

Artemisia couldn't help but feel a little disappointed when he didn't catch on to her antics. Perhaps she was coming on too strong, or maybe @Ronin was just that oblivious. So when he spoke, asking what she wanted from him, she would relax her body so that she now maneuvered to now be laying on her belly next to him. "I'm here," she would repeat from moments before, folded ears splaying to the sides before twisting backward. Her eyes would find his, looking up at him with a doe-eyed expression as she finished her sentence, "for you."

She felt her body begin to heat up and her heart quicken, feeling as though she were putting herself too much out there. She had no idea how Ronin would react or if he would take the offer she was putting out on the table, but the lioness knew you never make the shots you don't make. She would paw at him again, this time with claws half unsheathed as they ran through the thick of his mane, gently tugging at them in a playful manner. Her gaze would never leave his, a look now in them that was plain as day - take me. But whether or not he would was all up to him.

Artemisia would regard him with a look of a disappointment and he would be confused. What had he done wrong? Really, he was just clueless to what she was hinting at. He was that dense when it came to flirting and women. She would shift to maneuver onto her belly, repeating what she had said before, but this time more pointedly. Doe eyed expression of innocence would cause him to smirk slightly as she made it clear what it was that she wanted from him. Her claws would tug at him, burying in his mane and caressing his flesh beneath, shivering slightly. A rumble of desire would vibrate from his chest as he shifted, lifting up in the cramped space. Jaws would offer firm but affectionate nips of playful tease as he moved, deciding instantly that perhaps this was better than just moping about his problems. He was completely fine with the company that Artemisia provided and asked for.

As he moved into a better position, his nips would get a bit harder, though his ears were perked forward, ready to soften his bite if she complained- or bite harder if she so desired. Despite having his own selfish desires, Ronin also wanted to please her which was hard to do…considering he didn’t really know her. Well…I guess now he would.

As if the lightbulb was flickered on would Artemisia see the change of expression on @Ronin's face, showing her that he finally understood. The rumble would cause her body to shiver slightly, watching as he rose to stand. The cave they had found was quite small and cramped, and she began to wonder if he were regretting spotting it first. Her thoughts would soon be directed to much more intimate matters as she felt the delicate nips caress her body, causing for her body to twitch here and there where he placed them.

And then he is hovering above her, the lioness leaning her skull backward and stretching her neck as the nips became less gentle. She would rest the crown of her head in the bottom of his mane, her body a chorus of purrs. Stranger or not, Artemisia would give herself wholly to him, savoring the closeness and falling into sensual desire.
