There is a layer of snow upon his pelt, daring to try and seep into his fur to get at his skin- but it is unsuccessful, and he is unbothered by the chill as Anthonius treks forward. He was determined, and the expression easy to read on his face as he passes different types of terrain. He had heard his brother, heard @Alexander ♔ summon the family, something Anthonius had eagerly been waiting on.

"Ot ekäm sielanak kaŋa engem." He speaks under his breath, the air fogging up in front of him from the heat expelled from his chest. As he gets closer to where his brother's scent is the strongest, his blue eyes come to gaze upon the sandy land- lightly covered with winter's grasp. He takes it upon himself to explore these borders, careful to not trespass, a light smile forming to his face in soft approval of his brother's choice. He was sure this would do... for now. The Savages had a lot to conquer within their lifetime of reign, and he was positive his brother had great plans for them all.

Continuing his steady trek, he idly studies the weather above head as he walks, curious of the season and what it does to the land as he awaits the arrival of others. Surely his sibling smelt him by now?

Given the size of the pride, he was diligent about keeping the borders strong, if only to offer an illusion of greater strength to those who might pass by. Which meant regular, daily, patrols (as tedious as they may be). Which also meant visitors and strangers never went too long without being noticed.

It was a casual pace that would bring him into view, confident and at ease within his current home. It wasn't really the worst place he'd lived, and he had to admit the winter was proving slightly more bearable, so far, without the constant cold winds of the bluffs. He just wished the land retained a bit more heat into the night. And he missed his nice little cavern den.

Anyway, he'd arrive with a curious expression, a brow raised as he neared the stranger, "Looking for someone?" Or something? Just trying to snoop around?

He is not alone long.

Paws halt in their trail of the borders, paws placed carefully on the outskirts- obvious to the landmark of territory and knowing enough to not cross it. His study of the land is put to a hold, much like his observation of the white skies of winter, blue eyes drawing over the snow-covered terrain to land on the brute who came to welcome him.

He was a bit disappointed it hadn't been Alexander first.

Instead, it is a male whom is dark in color, and drenched in the scent of the grounds before him. The question is no surprise, and while Anthonius ponders on who this male is, and what of his status, the Savage's reply is easily formed off his inky lips. "My brother, Alexander. He is here." Spoken as a statement, there was no mistaking that call... so just where was his littermate? The Savage's gaze had idly started to flick around the lands behind the stranger, as if he'd see that familiar, colossal frame pop up from the horizons at any second.

Understanding washed across his face as the man answered. Was this, then, the first of the many Alexander had promised him? Not a bad start. "Aahh, yeah, he's around here somewhere." Probably. Unless he'd ventured out to explore or something. Ryker didn't know, he didn't keep too tight a leash on his members.

"I take it you're here to join him, then, yeah?" And, by extension, the oasis itself? Or was this just a quick visit to check in before the man wandered off to settle in some other pride? He hoped it wasn't the latter, he really did need the numbers. But, y'know, also, if the whole family looked like the brothers, well, Ryker wouldn't complain about being surrounded by pretty faces.

He is late to arrive, but not impossibly so. It seemed the Sovereign and his brother were still discussing things. A low chuff is offered to announce his presence before guttural words shift from his throat into the air, "Bur tule ekä kuntamak." Well met, my brother. Without hesitation does the beast approach, his massive skull lowering to approach @Anthonius and bump heads gently - as warriors did.

Smiling warmly, he pulls his rosy form up along the Earthen hued Savage and focuses those pale eyes upon @Ryker. "Yes. he is here to join me. We have other siblings and young ones that will be following soon after us." He looks to his brother once more, "Camellia has arrived as well." Uncertain if the more level headed of the two had come across their lovely, dutiful sister yet.

The brute confirmed his thoughts - or in truth it was his knowledge. He knew Alexander was here, not just by the scent but by the fact the call of his sibling had led him here. He had faith Alexander wouldn't lead him astray either, not when so much depended on him and the family of savages.

He nods to the question given to him, looking at him. So this had to be the leader of the lands, then. "Indeed. I am Anthonius Savage." He supposed it was the right time to give him his name. However, the arrival of his brother didn't get missed in the slightest, and Anthonius felt a warm smirk stretch over his lips at the sight of the man. He nears Alexander all the same, their heads bumping and Anthonius rumbles lowly in content at being reunited. "She moves fast." He remarks with a amused tone, peering back to the other male with a raise of his brow. "Any ranks you need filled?" Because he was more than ready to get back into the swing of things.

There came a voice from behind the man, "I don't think you have any idea..." And just like that, Camellia was there. The woman walked up, seemingly having appeared from thin air like some sort of desert mirage. She was poised, moving gracefully with head held high. There was a black and tan eagle perched upon her shoulders, his crimson talons gripping the strip of hide that connected a set of makeshift "saddlebags" that she oft carried with her. It was thanks to her feathery friend that Camellia was able to find this place so easily. That, and a hint from her brother whom she had encountered quite recently at the hot springs. "..how fast I really am."

Camellia walked up to stand beside Anthonius, brushing her side against him. "Ekä." She purred, glancing at Alexander. "My brothers." Her dual-toned gaze slid to the boldly marked stranger who stood at the borders. It was he whose scent was so strong upon this place. This must be Andal Oasis then, for clearly there was no other such place in the vast desolate landscape that stretched on for miles around. She would assume that she stood at the borders, based on the context of this encounter but she would need to pay close attention, for it could be difficult to tell where neutral sand ended and claimed lands began.

To Ryker, she offered a polite dip of his head. "I am Camellia Savage. I have come to join my brothers. Are you the King of these lands?"

Soon enough, the man himself managed to join them, and Ryker offered a casual nod in greeting. While the brothers had their moment, he'd seat himself in place, and maybe let his attention wander slightly until the focus returned to him and the reason they'd all gathered around the edge of the territory. A half-grin grew as @Alexander ♔ mentioned yet more family that might soon join them, "Well, what's that saying? 'The more the merrier' or something? Fuck if I know, they're welcome anyway."

He glanced to @Anthonius, then, and his grin grew as the man asked about ranks. Eager thing, wasn't he? "Oh tons," he chuckled, "challenge for whatever one you want." Because Ryker wasn't handing out ranks like candy. "We have a Sovereign around here somewhere - Hazrin. There's the Lead Medic Iofiel, and your Noble brother here," because timelines, "everything else is wide open." But that didn't mean he'd go entirely uncontested.

Then, focus shifted to the apparent sister of the two and her...bird. Okay. Interesting. That could be pretty useful, actually. Might be nice to have some friendly eyes in the sky. "Until someone takes it from me." Or he got bored, but he wouldn't voice that. "Ryker Dantanian, High Sovereign, yeah."

He'd stand again, then, and step to the side as if inviting the two in, though his attention remained mostly on @Camellia, "Who's your friend?" a nod toward the bird followed. It was probably safe to assume it was loyal to her, specifically, but it was still a curiosity and a potential asset.

The girl had been around. She had arrived with her "mother" and sister. But where Levana had gone off to was a mystery. Surely she was doing what Lilliana had just been doing. Exploring. Scoping out the place and seeing just what it had to offer.

It seemed she was the first of the sisters to rejoin the family. Lilliana came to silently settle beside @Camellia, her shoulder pressed against the older lioness. Although Camellia was her aunt, she had raised the girls like her own daughters. And since there was already a family resemblance it was easy for others to just assume they were simply mother and daughter. Something Lilliana was never really quick to correct.

A gentle purr was thrown toward both @Alexander ♔ and @Anthonius. But her emerald eyes settled onto @Ryker as he finished what he was saying. "Je celkom pekný." The young Medic whispered into her mother's ear before switching to a more understandable tongue and a smile. "Lilliana Savage. One of the merrier"

If he is one of the last to arrive, then all is as it should be in the world. For death knows that Valens cannot adhere to schedules or times, however much effort he makes to do so. He is slow in pace, made more cumbersome by a need to observe the world as it passes him by, stopping at whim to reflect and explore the landscape.
It is only by the trail of his brethren that the warrior arrives safely unto the oasis. The desert had stretched far on all sides and at times he had second guessed his own nose, the scent of his family fortunately still thick upon the air and ground.

At last, the group came in to focus. Just as the male climbed over a ridge and spied the gathering at a distance. With a satisfied grunt, the male moved toward them.

"Am I late?" The dappled male rumbled as he stopped alongside his siblings and daughter, stare reaching ahead for the only unknown presence (@Ryker) "Valens Savage." He said with a nod, eyes passing back toward his family with a quirk of his brow. Was this to be their new home then?
