Amara's belly was burning like a fire had been placed on it so when she felt a sharp pull of the paw in her mouth and felt the bones give way to the pressure of her bite she gave in. Her teeth tore the flesh before she let the paw go and as Revna moved away, Amara quickly and painfully got to her feet. She fully expected that she would be attacked again but it seemed that Revna got the message and was backing down. Fucking bitch wouldn't learn. She turned toward the chaos around her, not really knowing what was what or who was who. The desire to fight hadn't left her even as blood seeped out of her wounds. Echo was going to have her paws full healing the wounded here. Amara was going to need to find her another healer and soon to help with all this. Maybe that one from the pond would come with her, if she could find her again. She stood in the mess, her gaze on fire as she looked around. Fucking cub drowners. She yelled into the sounds around her, she wasn't sure who would hear her but she hoped that enough of their allies would or did they not care? Were they all ok with cubs being tossed to their death? Her golden gaze locked on a yearling male that look like Zoti. Her next target it would seem. She started a limping walk toward him, keeping a very open eye on everyone that may be near her. She would take him out. |
define your meaning of war, to me, it's what we do when we're bored |
He did as his old friend asked, keeping an ear trained on the two lions as they departed. But his eyes never left the clay woman pressed against him. She had not moved and neither had his grin for her. Do you? He rumbles in full amusement of her stubbornness. Do you have peace? You look as though you do not know what true peace is. But fear not, Wretch. Fore I do. And I can show you. His red orbs swept up and down with open suggestion before he let out a crazed fit of chuckles. It was a few more moments before he finally stepped away. We will meet again. The words mixing with his laugh. Next time I will make sure you know. Until then, repent. And repent hard. There is only so much I can do to save you. Oblivion turned away then, but he would not follow @Mordecai and @Arishem . They appeared far enough way now to not be bothered by anyone else. Until next time, Filth. He called out over his shoulder. /exit Oblivion @Hazel |
alaric couldn't help it -- he laughed. as @Cassandra spewed her nonsense about false kings he barked a short laugh, jerking his head back and well out of reach of her claws. a sneer curled his lip over his teeth, but he doesn't lower himself to respond to her. instead he rolls his eyes as he turns his back on her, ignoring everything else that came from the beaten child. @Alizabeth briefly pulled his attention from his stalking path to the pirates, but he only gave her a similar roll of his eyes. "not the time," he snapped, clearly not in the mood for her teasing and games. there were far more serious matters at hand -- specifically the fact that his wife was in a fight to the death, and his pride was being threatened. fights were everywhere but he only had eyes for the pirates, thankful that they didn't seem inclined to pick a fight now that he had come. myra joins him for a moment, but then the cowardly king of the brook attacks her and he snarls his displeasure. to pick on her when he was standing right there? how very brave of him. "opportunity is gone," he snapped, at the captain of the crew, his focus on @Calhoun. he was exhausted and stretched thin, and yet there was little doubt he'd start and finish a fight if he needed to. no matter how bloody giant the opponant was. it is only when @Finnulf appears that he is visibly shook, his gaze focusing on the unconscious boy on his back. "what did you do to him? @Emrik?" genuine concern was evident on the man's face, evaporating quickly in to anger at the blatent lies. "that boy," he states with a deadly calm in his voice, "has been a ward of the Mire. he was found alone, seemingly orphaned, and came willingly to join us. we have taken good care of him." there is zero hesitance in his voice, his gaze flipping from @Calhoun to @Edward to the near frantic @Úlla. "we did not do this." they would not believe him, but alaric had no energy to fight his point. if they wanted to take the boy then so be it -- evidently they were family anyway. "take him and go, get out of her." he stood steady between them and the rest of the pridelands, clearly unwilling to let them move any further than this bloodied clearing. when the hell would it be over? |
