October 11, 2024 Something is happening in the Scorched Wilds. There is a battle raging between a familiar force and an unfamiliar one. What will you do? Help or hinder?

October 1, 2024 Spooky things are happening as the afterlife start walking among the living once again.

September 30, 2024 Louve Dieudonné manages to keep Wolfbron Bluffs in the family. What will happen between the Bluffs and the otherwise peaceful pride of Lorien Plains?

September 20, 2024 Ilarion Rurik challenges for Wolfbron, will the Dieudonné lead pride fall?

September 8, 2024War broke out once again in the Lagoon when a wedding had some uninvited guest arrive. The war results in the most death matches the island has seen at once. The Summit was challenged by Brighid with Talisa answering the call. After many years of the Summit have the same two leaders, the Summit changes hands. What will this mean for the balance of Amaryllis? A witch hunt has started by Luther and Miaran which seems to be turning things on an island that is full of magic.

August 25, 2024 War broke out in the challenge for the Lagoon after Cassius tries to take the Lagoon from Isla. The Cove remains with Miaran. The leadership of the Mire switches from Sigrún hold to Rike when Luther comes back to take his birthland back. Elephants push into the Rainforest and push out the lions there. Soon after Lucifer lays claim to his birthland and takes over the Rainforest.

June 27, 2024 Conflict and tensions rise as prides come head-to-head with one another across Amaryllis - just as Pyrrha and Cassius take the leap to try and claim (or reclaim) their own thrones.

May 24, 2024 Rulers continue to shift, family strife ensues, and, per usual, tensions seems taunt and always lingering on the horizon.

April 24, 2024 Things are rocky within Amaryllis as the Dieudonne clash result in three deaths and forces a shift in the rulership of Firnen Rainforest. With Caladan Cove freshly overturned as well, what will the consequenecss of these events be?

March 30, 2024 The lull has ended as a long standing family, the Dieudonné, launch death matches against their own. The Plains sees a challenge from a new comer, Aphrodite, and the quite pride is pushed into the spotlight.

March 19, 2024 A momentary lull has overtaken the lands of Amaryllis as its inhabitants attempt to find their footing and rebuild after a string of challenges. How long it will last, however, nobody can be quite sure.

February 11, 2024 The Mire has fallen from the Stärke family and is now held by Luther Rike. The change has stirred but the fighting nature of those on the island. The Brook finds a new leader with Icefang and Isla takes over the Lagoon after a storm pushes out the old leader. Reti finds himself the leader of the Hollows after Alexander is hurt. The Oasis finds a new leader in Léonie who is soon tested by Harou.

January 8, 2024 The snow has finally begun to melt anew, which means that the world is slowly returning to the much-anticipated summer season. With the various holiday activities and the other jests put on by Nafasi also coming to a close, it is safe to say that winter is finally over.

December 5th, 2023 Nafasi had pulled a cruel trick and has sent Amaryllis back into a renewed winter season! But it's not all bad, because the lands will also see a handful of holiday-themed events popping up as a result. To make things more interesting, a wayward trio of travlers have also arrived and are facilitating a mass competition between the prides, bands, and rogues -- formally dubbed the Amaryllis Winter Games.

December 2nd, 2023 The spring air brings forth a number of pride challenges. A familiar challenger for the Cove and the Oasis arrive to try to earn what they want. The new leader of the Lagoon is tested in battle as well. What changes will come from the challenges? Who will remain standing and who will find their world turned upside down?

November 27th, 2023 In a challenge between mother and daughter, the leadership of Wolfbron Bluff changes for the first time in 5 IC years.

November 22nd, 2023 Two death matches, one resurrection, and an almost-war later, the lands find themselves in a constant state of turmoil and calamity. Families have been torn apart and endless blood has been spilt; but how is it all going to end?

November 3rd, 2023 The lands stir violently as a death match rages on between Aeistrios Saxe and Morrigan Greyflood. Observers spill into the pit in droves to witness what will no doubt be a historic battle -- and it is clear that this familial fued is far from over, no matter who wins and who dies.

October 12th, 2023 With winter comes the surge of more pride challenges; Ludivine challenges Ryker for Firnen Rainforest and is victorious in her endeavors, meanwhile an outcropping of maims breaks out on the sidelines. In a shocking turn of events Luther returns to challenge Bruno for Ecrosia Mire, will the former heir prove victorious or has Bruno got what it takes to keep his brother's ambitions at bay? This has undoubtedly shaken things up as Bruno declares war against Andal Oasis and Allies in the process!

Summer
Summer is in full swing now, with clear skies, warm nights, and ample sunshine! As such, the deserts begin to grow dry, the shores remain a blissful escape, the north is spared with cooling winds, and humidity continues to rise in the jungle. Rain and storms are long forgotten troubles by now, which is both a virtue and a vice during the heat of the season.

It had been too long since Morrigan had found a fight purely for the enjoyment of one, and the new Magnus had brought to the Brook had only served to push the Greyflood toward the Pit. She still hated to leave her family for very long now that they had finally all been reunited, but it would do no good if war came to them and she could not even defend the Brook. Morrigan had let herself slip since her fall from a crown. It was time to amend that. She padded down the slope of the familiar ring, remembering her first spar here with Magnus. It had been years ago now and much had happened since then. Yet she'd always kept her claws sharp and ready. She let out a challenging roar for someone to come and meet her here in the Pit.

And it is Leander that answers Morrigan's call, lumbering steps taking him into the Pit once more. He has been here a fair few times since his return and the patched male now felt at ease in battle -- no longer worried about his stamina or how rusty he had become loitering back home. Mismatched gaze appraises his opponent tersely, wondering how well the inky figurine would fight. Standing before her without a word, Leander slips into comfortable defences -- limbs spread evenly, knees bent and his neck lowered. With a small nod, the Miroslav officially accepts the woman's call. "Your move."

How striking, was her first thought when the man who smelled of the Oasis answered her call and moved toward her down the edge of the Pit. A flame colored mane against stark black and white cloak. His eyes were two different colors like her own. Certainly a memorable creature, and Morrigan was always happen to get violently close to beautiful beings. "Your move," he offers and a smirk lights up the Greyflood warrior's sharp features.

Her defenses had slipped more acutely into their place when he approached, just in case he meant to deceive. Dark ears lay back against her skull and bi-colored eyes were narrowed. A creature of habit, Morrigan adjusted her balance lower to the earth and went for her usual brute force assault. She would attempt to lunge directly at her opponent, jaws opening and attempting to aim directly for his handsome left jawline.

Her own right paw would lift from the ground and attempt to swing for his right shoulder, claws extended. She would attempt to pull her punches as it were for now, waiting to see if he would do the same. Bloodshed was perfectly fine, but she didn't seek to do any sort of deep and permanent damage to such a pretty specimen unless he wanted it.

And move she does.

The pair move simultaneously, drawn together by the familiar buzz of battle that courses fiercely through his veins. He would be lying if he said that this did not excite the Miroslav -- as much as he claimed that any violence would be for the protection of his family, there was a thrill to it that Leander could not resist.

He drives forward, attempting to drive the bony point of his left shoulder square into Morrigan's chest. This does not dissuade the woman's teeth which now clamps square at the side of his left cheek, where flesh meets bone -- a guttural snarl released from parted jowls as her teeth slice into flesh, blood seeping from the fresh wound.

Leander attempts to snake his neck forward, opened jowls attempting to grab hold of the left side of Morrigan's neck. He feels the undeniable sting of fresh open wounds on his right shoulder, courtesy of the woman's claws -- a grimace on his expression as the scratches burn. But in the thick of battle, there is little time to dwell too long on one's injuries.

His own right paw lifts and with claws unsheathed, Leander attempts to scratch down the length of Morrigan's left forelimb.

As per usual Morrigan makes no effort to avoid the damage he throws at her in return and she releases a breath before it can be driven from her lungs by force just as his shoulder slams painfully into her. That would bruise badly later she is sure, but she keeps her focus on the success of her jaws, attempt to drag fangs backward and away to avoid him retaliating in the same fashion before attempting to lunge again with her fangs for the place where his left shoulder met his neck where hopefully his mane would be thinner.

Her opponent moves his own jaws lower instead and she feels powerful jaws clamp down on the left side of her muscular neck. She did not have the protection of a mane like he did though and the blood would readily seep around his grip. At nearly the same moment she felt his right claws open scours down her left forelimb. She retaliates by attempting to reaffirm a grip on his right shoulder and dig unsheathed claws deep while trying to pull her right limb back toward herself.

Morrigan needed to reason to fight other than for the thrill of it, and so far this man was providing just that, alongside significant bruising and likely lacerations as well. She'd have to remember to catch his name before they parted ways.

They collide and though the shoulder charge is one aimed at emptying the oxygen from his opponent's lungs, Leander too, always finds that the knock reverberates back into his own spine from the impact. It is what battle is after all -- there was no reward without a bit of risk.

@Morrigan is successful in her bite to the spot where his head meets his neck, drawing a snarl from the male who feels her teeth tear at his skin, drawing blood that now stains his alabaster coat. Still, Leander is stubborn and he refuses to give up the grip he has on his opponent's own muscular neck, hoping to smother any attempt of an attack with the grip that he aimed to hold on to.

There is a deep slice as Morrigan pulls her right arm back towards herself, sharp claws slicing flesh as her attack is successful. The Miroslav knows full well that this would scar and that he would be limping for days, if not weeks. With the pain spurring him on, the patched male does his best to retaliate, his mind set on doing all that he can to bring her to ground.

He attempts to sling his right arm across the woman's neck and lift his weight up on to her, hoping to utilise this and his hold on her neck to bring her own weight up and over her head.

Exhaustion began to creep over the Greyflood warrior's body as she grew increasingly battered, but her mismatched eyes were alight with joyful fire. Morrigan knew she had let herself get rusty, but with every hit she gave and took she felt the rust begin to fall away. She would have to remember to ask his name before they parted ways, or at the very least make a point to visit the Oasis. They weren't an enemy as far as the Greyflood was aware and they obviously held strong warriors in their ranks.

Sides heaving now as a result of her ribs being hammered previously, Morrigan is forced to pull back attempting to still drag her fangs as she released from her successful grip on her opponent's shoulder and neck area as she feels his own fangs deepen stubbornly into her unprotected neck. As she feels his arm swing over her and his weight become heavier, she would attempt to jerk back suddenly and violently, hoping to dislodge his hold while swinging her skull in her old faithful move to try and smash her head into his.

As there was really no way to see what she was doing this was simply a last hail mary to dislodge herself from her opponent gaining the upperhand in position. Otherwise she only attempts to get her own paws all back on the ground as she knows damage has already been done and if she is successful will cause more damage to herself, but still satisfied as the fight begun to wind down.

He can feel the spar draw to a close and though exhausted from the abrupt output of energy and force, Leander Miroslav has enjoyed the battle. The woman was a worthy opponent and perhaps they may fight again one day. But the job is not finished and there is still one last effort to make.

@Morrigan's teeth drag through the tender flesh of his neck/shoulder region and almost in reply, Leander attempts to simply dig his own teeth in deeper, gritting his jowls with the pain that she had inflicted. But in a flash, his grip disappears, skin snapped from his jowls and from under his arm as the woman darts out from beneath him.

He aims to return his lifted limb to solid ground, hoping to even his balance though soon enough, it would appear that Morrigan was not yet done. He sees her headbutt coming a little too late, Leander attempting to turn on his left forelimb and offering up his bony right shoulder for her head butt to make impact upon, the force of her charge jarring his body and a ringing heard in his ears.

She feels his teeth sink deeper into the flesh of her neck before they are wrenched free, spraying blood in an arc in her peripherals as her skull finds not his head but his shoulder. The jarring of impact was only softened by the fact it was mostly muscle she hit, but it still rocked her. As the pair of them made their final stand before breaking apart in the bloodied Pit, Morrigan knew she had won – but only just. She would move to give the pair of them space as blood dripped from her wounds, chest still heaving when she spoke, "Impressive. Maybe I should make a visit to the Oasis soon," she would muse aloud before continuing, "Morrigan Greyflood," she introduced.
