Izsak had come to the passage, he was alone and had been as such for six months. Still the prides he was use to picking off of had grown clever of his tricks and he couldn't risk any more attempts. He had to move on, and it had become clear waiting for him that Bahram would not come back to him. It frustrated him greatly that he slipped away in the night without an explanation, ears flicked into his sleek white-slate grey mane while he moved to through the gap that led to these lands. The voice he heard as he entered made him snort, "Bugg någon annan, spöke" he spoke in his native tongue of Persian. He had no time for spirits or visions, though Bahram said he should always heed a vision Izsak would rather ignore it. He made his own destiny and that wouldn't change.

Stopping he watched a jackal cross his path but felt no urge to follow, they often only found small things big enough for them to feed on. Useless to him right now, he was hungry but wanted something bigger than a snack. Giving a huff he reclined to his haunches and stretched his neck, rolling his shoulders back a bit flexing the white coat upon his flesh his golden markings shimmering in the sun that beat down upon his frame. "Du är verkligen förlorad nu ..." he muttered annoyed to himself.

The mischievous male hadn’t been back to the passage since he’d first entered with his cousins. Humming quietly, he trotted, hoping to find someone interesting today. It was still cool, and the sky was spitting little bits of snow. It was strange, seeing snow in a land with beaches and sands. But it was winter, so not too much of a shock. His warm-hued paws made their way towards the passage, looking around.

Something screamed at him to stop (probably his whiskers) and he did, looking back forwards after almost smacking into the male before him. He backed up a few steps, muttering an apology. Yikes, what a bad first impression. The other was sitting, and Sunflower gave a moment to examine him. He was handsome. Why was that his first thought? Sunny wasn’t used to looking at someone and immediately noticing whether they were attractive or not, so he pushed the thought away. He was smattered with sunny markings, and bright green and yellow eyes.

“I’m sorry, stranger, I didn’t see you there.” He hoped the other would forgive him, Sunny was always looking out for new friends. This guy seemed like someone he wanted as a friend, right? Maybe you just think he’s handsome and that makes him likeable. The rational part of his brain thought. But he gushed it up, tucking it away for now. This guy wasn’t much older than him, and he needed new friends besides his cousins and siblings.

Distracted in his thoughts wondering if he maybe should have pursued the jackal after all but suddenly a presence behind him made him turn sharply with alarm. Lips crinkled in annoyance, he had been snuck up upon but he wasn't confident it was totally his fault. Eyes narrowed a bit at him, but then he let a smile slip onto his face instead, one full of charm and warmth. ”Jeez I know I am not small by any means, but i thought going without a meal would have made me slimmer...” he laughed warmly, his voice a soft soothing tone. A voice that had tricked so many before him.

”you always walking into asses?” he asked with a short snort and a chuckle, he sniffed a bit and was confused. He hadn't seen many maneless males before one or two here and there, was this the case today? ”hey, you know what this place is?” he asked suddenly. Always seeking information, always thinking one step ahead of the crowd.

The stranger looked quite displeased. A frown stretching upon his lips. That wasn’t good… Gods please don’t let him get in a fight. He was too skinny for this, and short. The male’s whole mood seemed to shift, leaving Sunny a bit confused. But at his words, he interjected, “oh! Please don’t take any offense, I was just distracted.” He’d been staring at the scenery, admiring it. Now he got to stare and speak to a handsome stranger, lucky day, right?

“Only if I’m in the mood,” he quipped back, ah, that was kind of a crude joke. Poppy wouldn’t like that one. Hopefully this man didn’t take any offense, either. Then he’s asking another question, and Sunny shrugs, “I don’t know the official name, I just call it Deity’s Passage, since that weird voice said we were their cubs and such,” he glances at the scenery, then back to the man, “you’re a bit late to the party, everyone’s come through this place, to my knowledge, I’ve not seen anyone native to these lands, yet.”

Izsak lowered his face closer to the other male's, yea he knew this was a dude despite lack of a full mane on his neck, still a cutie he was though. A charming grin slipping on his lips he spoke low and let his words drip akin to the sweetness of honey, ”oh sweetie, I don't take offense so easily. Especially if a little delight such as yourself is distracted by myself” a little low deep laugh left his lungs but it only added to the charm. Leaning back again, he didn't care if the lion didn't swing that way, if he tripped over himself because of it all the more fun.

Diety's Passage? Izsak hid a scoff in his throat disguised as a cough, he shrugged his shoulders, ”Being late just means I got to meet you didn't i?” he added with a chuckle. Moving to walk a bit he stopped to look to see if the male would follow him, his eyes were asking him to. ”So sorry, I'm Izsak Gazi,” he said with a little bow of his head letting his slate-white mane bounce around on his head.

Sunny’s mouth shut for once as the man came close to him. He suddenly felt much smaller and much younger. Oh no, uh uh, nope. He was not a teen anymore, he couldn’t get crushes on every handsome lion he came across. Even if he teased and had a voice like honey. Nope, wasn’t happening. Maybe it was happening. Nope- he was meant to get married to a clan member. They weren’t here, but that didn’t matter. He was the oldest of the Nicte line. He couldn’t reserve his feelings for someone who was a stranger.

But there was no harm in teasing and flirting, right?

He let a charming grin cross his face, “for that I am surely grateful.” A bit of romantic language never hurt anyone. Most of his family spoke that way too, though he skipped in and out of older speaking and newer ways of speaking. Poppy probably had the strangest speaking patterns of the cousins, honestly. At the offer of his words, he nodded, “Sunflower Nicte, but most call me Sunny.” He grinned, and it was quite a bright smile itself. Yeah, his name and nickname fit him quite well, didn’t it?

”sunny...sunny sunshine...” he purred the name off his tongue then grinned at him. Rolling his shoulders back flexing the muscles he moved onwards hoping the lion would follow him onwards. ”you got a pride out here?” he asked him with a tilt of his head, how many prides could he target in the night? How strong were their kings? How violent were they? If they were those kind then he would be avoiding those. No need getting hurt or killed when he just joined. Looking over Sunflower suddenly he smirked to himself, especially if all the lions and lionesses in this land came like that. ”oh hey, I am not gonna get attacked by some jealous husband or wife for calling you sweet things am i?” he asked suddenly moving to close the gap a bit between them and walk alongside him instead.

He smiled brightly, fitting the nickname perfectly. Shining teeth and all. He came to walk near the other. Shaking his head at his question, “I suppose you could say a clan? My family and I are living together now, we’re a group of younger cousins, our generation came here.” He explained calmly, “I’ve met a queen in a nearby pride, she lives near the beach.” He offered calmly. “I may go there, she’s friendly.” And pretty. He added silently. She was especially striking on that beach. Her pelt telling the story of a warrior turned leader. Jewel definitely intrigued him.

At the eyes roaming over him he was a bit nervous. He’d never really flirted with a male before. Should he act differently than when he flirted with a woman? Obviously words would have to be changed to fit any person. But especially for those of different genders. At his words he gulped, eyes nervously flirting away, “uh- no, I’m not seeing anyone.” He confirmed looking back at him, “same question for you?” He asked, voice a bit quiet. Honestly the fact someone was even a tad attracted to a stick like him was shocking. He thought most were into… big… tough men. He supposed. He moved closer, and Sunny stayed silent. His thoughts getting him caught up in his own head.

Was he listening to Sun? Well it sure looked like it, he was nodding and looking right at him and everything. However when he mentioned  'family' he kind of checked out. It was a sore spot for Izsak still. But he heard about his cousins and some queen, ears perking at the sound.  "Wonder if she needs a king.." he laughed but dismissed the thought. there was probably a line of males waiting for the position to stand alongside her.

Izsak wasn't into competition for some lioness, if she had that many suitors then who was to say she had any sense of loyalty. "hm? oh no sweetheart, unless you are proposing but it is far too soon." he gave a wry chuckle then started to walk though his feet screamed at him to stop. "Is there anything here to eat? it has been a few days" he asked, he wouldn't raid until he had more information. A thief he was but not a suicidal one!

At his words, Sunny looked a bit awkward. He had thought they were hitting it off, oh well. Though he doubted Jewel was the type to want a king. Even if she did, she was probably picky, as most people were. There was nothing wrong with that, of course. He tilted his head slightly. Sunny was the determined kind. If he really wanted something, he went for it. He assumed he’d be the same with romantic endeavors but... turns out flirting with men was nerve-wracking. He didn’t know that. Was this flirting? No no... it was more... little compliments sprinkled in, right? Ack, this sucked. Sometimes he wished he was a cub again, not worried about any of this.

“P-Pro-” He stuttered, before coughing and clearing his throat. Yeah, this guy made him nervous. The man asked for food, and mentioned how he’d not had much in a few days. Sunny glanced around quickly, bustling over to a small bit of plants, picking through them slowly. There was some advantages to having cousins interested in medicine. He came back with some herbs in his mouth, placing them at Izsak’s paws. There were a few there and he explained quickly, “These will keep you held over until you find something, unfortunately I'm not a great hunter or I’d help you out. These herbs have been used to help with traveling, they make your stomach feel full.” He paused, wondering if the male would be interested in them or not. Or if he’d even trust Sunny’s judgement. But he was certain these were the herbs he’d ate before to help on their travels, “oh- it tastes bad... by the way.”
