She moved on sore shaky limbs. Already the adrenalin that she had felt during the fight was wearing off. This made the orange faced lady feel how tired she was. She felt drained from the fight. Which was probably a mix of shock and blood loss from her ripped up scruff. Does she think that the male meant to ripe it up? Well honestly she didn’t know enough about him to know for sure. He did seem to enjoy himself there at the end when he had her pinned on the ground so maybe.

Getting to @Rue ‘s den she found herself fall to the ground just in front of it. “Dizzy.” She hummed as she laid there. Her body and shoulders where also sore and some how bruised lightly though. Grey eyes looked around to see if @Vesper was there and she smiled. “I feel like a mouse that has been flung around like a wild untamed cub.” Words spoken with a laugh as she tried to ease any tension.

Vesper says once out of earshot of the man. she had exited with the females, sticking close to Arjana out of uncomfortable fear that Korrin would retaliate against Zoticus' words. her fur was bristled and her snarl was clear. she didn't much care for men anyway, but... Marius and Zoticus were okay in her books. seeing a guy having not joined any of their hunts, expecting to be handed Noble without providing for their pride... it didn't sit well with her.

she tries to push down her anger. "don't worry, Rue'll fix you up" Vesper adds to Arjana, blinking gratefully at @Rue. the woman had spunk standing up to Korrin like that, she'd gladly give her that. the huntress had been more concerned with their pride mate. "Gentry though..." she looks back to the clay woman "it isn't Noble, but it's a start." she jokes quietly, trying to ease the tension as best she could. awkward was one way of saying it.

The rank challenge had been interesting to watch though if anything it had managed to put Korrin on Rue's radar and quite possibly she on his. Her mind was still mulling over what Zoticus had said, that he would earn the rank once he had the respect of herself and Vesper and Arjana. Rue didn't think she would ever be capable of giving such a block-headed individual respect, especially not now. It had been an overkill rank challenge and Rue wasn't particularly fond of men to begin with - Korrin would have many obstacles to overcome before he ever earned a grain of respect from Rue. Rue had a bit of a head start on both Arjana and Vesper so when she arrived to her den she was quick to get her supplies in order. First came the Buchu that she quickly ground into a paste with her small paws, then Oil palm leaves that she would use to prevent bacteria from setting into Arjana's wounds. And last but not least, Wild mango, her favorite fruit to use as pain management. 'Dizzy. I feel like a mouse that has been flung around like a wild untamed cub.' Quickly Rue spun on her haunches to face Arjana, grabbing a mango to place down before her. "Eat this, it will help replenish your strength and get rid of the pain. I'm going to start cleaning this scruff of yours." She said softly, mismatched gaze surveying the wound. Her scruff wasn't in terrible shape but it wasn't in great shape either. Carefully she began to spread the buchu paste across the wound, coating it generously to prevent inflammation. Next she began to place the oil palm upon the wound as well, being sure to put a hefty coating of that on the wound to prevent infection. "That should do it, I'd like to check it again in a day or so to make sure it's healing nicely. Who knows what the hell that guy had on his teeth .. we don't want it getting infected." She said before pulling her haunches beneath her to sit. "You did great and I meant what I said to him.. If he even thinks to try something again it will be a huge regret on his part. I can just sense something about Korrin .. he isn't right. I've dealt with many men before him that were similar .. and these skills of mine aren't just for healing, I'll tell you that much." She said darkly, because once Rue became protective of someone she would do anything to make sure they stayed safe.

So much had happened. She had heard @Vesper chatter on her thoughts on Korrin and the rank fight. “Some male’s have overly fat heads to fill their egos.” She mused with a small laugh that ended with her wincing. She was joking so at least she was in good spirits even if sore and hurting.

Arriving at @Rue ‘s place she flattened on her belly trying to catch her barings. Being offered the mango she eyed it for a moment before doing as good and chewing it. As the small healer worked on her scruff. She felt horrible, but she believed that Rue could patch her up. If it scarred well it scarred. Wounds happen in fights. Did that mean such harshness had been needed in this fight? No.

“Thank you Rue, but don’t go getting yourself eaten by a madman.” She wasn’t really angry with Korrin, but she was worried about the other ladies in the pride. “Fights happen. It is who we are. Fighters and survivors, yet how does he think he is? To just show up to one meeting then demand a rank. The highest rank allowed at that. Hell I don’t even know his name!” She growled as she thought about this all.

“Now maybe if he would put half the effort he showed in the battle into helping the pride. I have never seen him at a hunt. Nor have I seen him patrolling the borders.” Arjana was honestly offended by how lazy she assumed he was simply because she didn’t know him. Or anything about him other than the fact that she did worry about him going after Rue or Vesper. Though she did expect him to be displeased that she got a rank even when he won it.
