The wheat woman normally always asked permission to help another unless the one needing help was so near death that permission and waiting would cost them their life. In those times though she wasn’t the best fit, but could Do a patch job so that they could be stabilized for someone with more skill and worth as a healer could take charge. So therefore the fact that her body had acted first and asked second took even herself by surprise. As things settled though, as the white lady gave permission for her to work on her friend after @Ástríðr herself had given permission she dipped her head politely. Looking at what she had she picked up some lotus bean seed and mashed it up with a little bit of sea water. The salt would sting a bit probably. Working it into a paste she placed it on some cape aloe leaves to make them sort of like a band-aid. She figured the Viking didn’t want to walk around with leaves on her face so this would hopefully be a good temp for at least a few hours. “Alright so I have taken some lotus bean seed and mixed it into a paste it might sting a little bit, but it should help prevent any infection, and the cape aloe leaves are to stop the bleeding. They can be removed but please leave them on for a few hours at least.” She explained before carefully placing everything in place.

@Songbird

@Songbird seemed to understand what Astrid meant when it came to the unsocial life since she shared it with Astrid. There were times that Astrid thought that Songbird would be better off being part of the social life. Like a pride, but her greed and possessive behavior wouldn't tolerate the thought of other's being around her prized possession. So she let herself keep Songbird close. Ears twitching as @Inez's voice brought her back to reality and teal jewels would look over to the healer as she explained what she was about to do and how long she should keep them on her cheeks. Greaatt. Ears fell back when she felt the sting and would hiss slightly but didn't budge or move away from the healer in front of her. Astrid's nose would twitch when it was all over with. Well, it will take me a few hours to get home. She would admit.

Songbird was attentive to @Inez's process and in particular while the medic was detailing after care she let herself be wrapped up, committing each little detail to her own memory so she could make sure @Ástríðr was well taken care of. She nodded like a doting mother getting instructions for their sick child, taking notes and marking down the instructions when they knew the child was probably not going to follow them themselves. To that Songbird lifted a paw and lightly tapped Astrid's paw, jutting it then towards Inez with a little bit of force (for her otherwise soft nature and gentle movements). Listen to her. And then the quiet woman gently rose up, carefully trying to disturb Astrid as little as possible while she moved momentarily away from her dear Astrid and towards Inez. Songbird leaned in and aimed to thump her fluffy head against the charitable and helpful stranger. When she pulled back her smile was worn plain, her eyes glowing appreciatively.
