Noke laughs at the younger woman's eagerness, petal gaze twinkling in amusement. I can't say I'm not excited to see what the fog will reveal. It doesn't cost her much to admit that - after all, Amra is just as hyped as she is about it, if not more so! When she mentions the spirit tree though, Noke finds herself wondering if they came from the same place. My homeland had that as well - maybe we come from the same place.

Amra nodded in agreement with Noke in the fact that they were both excited about what the Island would hold in store for them all. If only that cursed fog would lift! Ear flickered toward the other girl when she said that she had a tree just like that in her homeland as well. Head tilted, interest written all over Amra's face. "You never know, it's a pretty small world when it boils down to it. I know that I followed a lot of other lions, and there were a lot more behind me yet. I didn't know even a fraction of them," Amra admitted thoughtfully. Perhaps it would be in her best interests to get to know everyone and everything so that she could be more useful when it came to, well, knowing things. "I hope we can meet each other again when we get in there, it'll probably be pretty hectic when that fog first lifts." Because let's be honest, every man and his dog was going to swarm in there to claim whatever they could pee on. The thought made Amra snicker.

It wouldn't surprise me if we're all from the same place - it would be odd if multiple people had spirit trees in a homeland overrun by rogues, wouldn't it? at the very least, it would be a little too coincidental. the albino lady finds herself wondering if the rest of her family is here - and if so, where? maybe she should call a meeting or something and do a head count.

I hope so too, she murmurs, in response to amra's wish for the pair to meet up again when the fog lifts. when the chaos dies down, I think I might call out for friends and family - if you hear the call, feel free to come. at the very least, it will let the pair reassure each other that they're doing alright.

Amra nodded in agreement. "I'm sure lots of places have spirit trees, but there could only be so many places overrun by rogues, causing a mass evacuation, at the same time," Amra agreed, certain in the fact now that they had come from the same place. And so, following that same train of thought, 'Noke decided that she would call a meeting for her friends and family once she was within the borders of the island. And offered Amra to go alone too, if she wanted to. The grin spread once more across Amra's muzzle, turning to face the other girl and nodding enthusiastically. "I'm sure if you're here, and I'm here, then all the family you're looking for will be here too. I'm certain of it. I'll keep an ear out for your meeting!" Amra promised, nodding once, firmly, to show 'Noke that she considered her a friend now and would come if she wanted to call. But for now, perhaps they would go their separate ways. It was late, after all.

thank you, the ghostling murmurs, soft and sincere - thankful for the comfort this stranger has offered in the albino's dark hour (pun intended) of need. i'll keep an eye for you on the horizon. i think, for now though, i'm going to continue my search - you should rest. while 'noke is nocturnal because she needs to be ( because albinism doesn't lend itself to making nice with the sun ) she's sure amra isn't - and she would hate to keep the girl up late.

Amra grinned, pleased to have made a friend on this desolate stretch of beach, filled by nothing but strangers and wanderers. She was looking forward to whatever meeting for her family that 'Noke called too, for the simple fact that the invitation had been extended to Amra too, making her feel like she was a little bit of family now.
At the girl's easy dismissal, Amra lowered her head. "It was nice to meet you, I lok forward to seeing you again." Usual grin followed as Amra raised her head again, before turning to roughly the same direction she'd coem from and meandering away across the sand, taking care not to stumble across any sleeping bodies.
