where winter meets sun; where god meets goddess - caught within the throes of love and passion, harou and nyaxia have come together to produce this beautiful litter of four. with a love unending, these two have formed life together; their two souls now and forever, entwined. it's not a new start, because their stories are dark, their past darker still. but, it is the beginning of all things new within amaryllis. be it tenderness, or violence - love or destruction - an oroborous of life and death; renewal and hope.

“i am not of this world. violence created me. you can see it in my eyes, my scars, my body made brutal and weathered by cruelty. the taste of ruination only deepened my hatred – in time, i even yearned for the savageness of it. every edge of me is scarred by the touch of darkness, of violence. the edges of my heart are filled with decay and dark magic – magic that i swallowed, and greedily consumed. i became every broken shard, every tortured scream, every torn soul, every drop of blood spilled from each victim i held secret."

harou has forgotten the taste of sunlight. between rot and legend, harou has the memories of a thousand year old god. beneath the dreaded moonlight, by the visceral pulse of a blood-red moon, harou is reborn, remade. he is unholy - he is hunger, incarnate. his vessel, his body, is empty and hollow as the wraiths that purr hungrily beneath his flesh.

in another lifetime, in another universe, one beyond this one, he might have been a soldier with a rifle slung across his broad shoulders; a lieutenant enlisted for war—with only the memory of a wife's kiss to accompany him like a ghost-caress in the blood-soaked trenches, the ravaged battlefields. in yet another lifetime, he would have been a king of pagan times—a ruler of men, swathed in blood and dark nobility. in other lives, he could have been a gladiator —a dragon, a slave— with only the scars upon his bronzed flesh as memories made through passion, through violence—sacrifice.

each death, each memory, each reminder of who he once was, were etched unto his decayed spirit like patterns on a dead, fallen constellation. but everytime he breathed, everytime he lived, it only ended in fire. he ended in ruination—in death.

"he can feel his ravening thicken within the boundaries of their forbidden lust, her intelligence seeping through, like waves beneath the ocean's moon; her voice, a honeyed nectar saturated in sweet poison, deadly and immersive, all on its own. he realized then, that he could listen to her, forever, indulge in the natural ways of her bewitching wisdom and shining intelligence. beauty, brains, strength, she had it all. woman. the word alone held power, held magic, held witchcraft. woman. a force to be wielded against the desirable tongue."

wrapped in decadence and feline lethality, nyaxia is the huntress, the very image of artemis, of athena; the maiden moon of darkness and forests. raised as a virgin warrioress within the throes of her sisters' order, she has been swept away by the shapeshifter harou, relinquishing a life of a bloodshed to take her place beside him as his mate. deep in her female intuitation, the very vision of grace and otherwordly beauty, it is no wonder harou had been so captivated by her beauty and sharp intelligence. a feral angel with a thirst for adventure, a wild heart as furious as she is tender.


children's up bringing

harou - death, the devil, the magician - will raise their children with subtle occult practices and a love, a oneness, for the wilderness and the universe breathing around them. he will teach them to feel with their souls and see with their hearts; to open their eyes to the magic and beauty of the world. alongside the moon maiden, nyaxia - strength, the empress, the moon - the children will be raised to follow their desires and become steadfast warriors and hunters, to live a life following their passions. their mother will dote upon them, fiercely, affectionately, teaching them everything about the world around them (including tree climbing), while their father with be their guardian, keeping his distance and protecting them from afar - venturing close, every now and then.

due to the volatile nature surrounding the dunes of andal oasis, it is unlikely that these children will be raised as royalty, despite harou's and nyaxia's desire for it. they will most likely be raised as rogue cubs, within the jungles of amaryllis. (note: this is all subject to ic interactions ofc, so nothing is truly set in stone).

if her father is the darkness and her mother is the guiding light then she is the dusk that they created. the girl is born small, strange, and painfully resilient to the monstrous evils lurking beneath her family's graveyards. the girl is passive by choice, not by will, and is conscious of the environment in which she grows up in. she seeks not to wage wars or scheme within the circle of politics, but to calm its aftermath, of its dead and the sick, the wary and the bleeding. she watches, learns, and steals away information whether she realizes or not. what she does with those information is a mystery, but she seeks nothing of importance in return except to be left alone. her friendships lay in nature and the spirits that she summon - mostly accidentally, though more often than not they provide her some sort of use beyond just an ear to listen. she is soft spoken, but not cowardly; she is gentle, but not malleable.

adventurous and bold, she has no fears of anything in the world- or that is what she seems. Syaoran holds her insecurities close to her chest, and presents herself as a wolf, quick to try to lead her siblings and is definitely oldest sibling material. she is responsible and dependable, but content to be aloof and away from the group. she needs no one to hold her paw, but is close to her family- wanting to be her father's shadow, a typical daddy's girl, wanting nothing more than her father's approval- and to be like her mother in strength.

Extra: Chisuke would develop a fascination with blood at a young age, and have a probably disturbing penchant for attempting to get into fights. As she ages, she will develop hemomania (obsession with seeing blood and/or drinking blood). She will see sharing the same bloodline as very important and only gives loyalty to those who were born into it or who have shared blood with her through a ritual she invents. This ritual will require both participants to draw blood and then have the other drink it to symbolize joining their bloodline.
