"R-Really?!"

surprise flickers across her face when Jewel announces she'd be pleased to have her in the pride. Erevu was right; she was a good, kind lady. Willoughby felt her head duck in embarrassment, cheeks burning with pleasantness. "I will help wherever I can!" she looks back up, determination shining in her silver eyes "as long as it isn't fighting, I don't mind where you put me to work" she hoped that was good enough, for the maiden didn't have any idea where to go. "I've never been in a pride before - I wouldn't know what I wanted right away."

but she suspected the leader was very easy to talk to about such things. she smiles, turning to Erevu as he offered to give her a tour. a nod was given to the medic before turning back to Jewel. "i-if Jewel doesn't mind" she smiles warmly at her new sovereign "then I accept Erevu's offer for a tour" Jewel must have so much else to do than show a newbie around. she bounces to all fours, tail lashing in pleasure "but I'm sure I'll see you around!" Willoughby goes to the woman "o-obviously" she giggles "then we can do something together, if you're not busy?"

Seeing the pleasure on @Willoughby's face had Jewel smiling and nodding at her and then looking towards @Erevu with a knowing grin. "I won't take offense if you wish to give her the grand tour. After all, he did bring you here, I would hope he would finish and not simply drop you off and run." Jewel winked, but she shifted when Willoughby spoke of not being a fighter. There was a shrug of a scarred shoulder and she gave her an amused smile. "Not many in the pride are fighters, Lady Willoughby. There's no harm in having skills that are far less bloodthirsty and more suited towards your gentle and kind nature." Her tails would twitch as she shifted, looking between the two and wondering if they would eventually end up paired up together. "Take your time, Lady. There is no rush in waiting. After all.. When you figure it out, let me know." The ebon lady let her gaze pass over the pair and she nodded at the comment of doing things again. "Well - I will be leaving the pride to hunt soon.. my sons are growing like beanstalks and they are bottomless pits.." The invitation was subtle- but in no means required. "speech"

Willoughby's manners was just another thing added to the list of qualities she had that captivated Erevu. She was selfish, that much he could see, and that alone kept him wanting to be around her. He was a bit surprised to hear she had never been in a pride before. He only thought that maybe it was just a temporary thing, with her being a rogue. Now he knew he needed to go the extra length to make sure she was comfortable here, and didn't feel out of place.

His smile widened at her wanting to take the tour with him, and his eyes moved to Jewel then. He chuckled at her tease and shook his head in amusement. "She hasn't scared me away... yet." He gave Willoughby a playful wink then, obviously teasing and joking with his words for he knew that she knew he adored their time together.

He slowly rose to his paws then as the conversation seemed to die down. After Jewel finished, he looked to Willoughby, nodding at the large pride area before them. "Well, if that is settled and you're ready, M'lady, " He let his words hang in the air as he turned and started to lead the way, a passing nod given to Jewel in departure, looking forward to showing Willoughby around the Cove.

she felt like running, jumping and bouncing around. but she knew she had to sit still, behave and just be content with wiggling excitably. "I can help!" she burst out to Jewel's offer to hunt together later. her tail lashes with pleasure, eager to show the woman her meager little skills. she was good at hunting down small prey, but big ones? not so much. practice makes perfect, but hungry bellies were a great motivation. "see you later, S... Sovereign Jewel! thank you so much!"

turning to Erevu now, she gave him a cheeky grin before following after him. this time she let herself bounce to her paws and rush after him to keep pace. once she was at his side, she slowed. a flicker of her tail was given to Jewel as they departed, grinning like an idiot at the new potential and possibilities she had in the Cove. no fear of being claimed now, ha!

[OOC: Patrol the borders 2/2] The two felines moved off together and Jewel had to wonder where their paths would take them, though she found herself grinning in amusement at the idea of potentially seeing more young cubs in the pride in the future. Certainly they were going to have to do some more hunting - but soon.. They might have enough members to run two hunting parties and then they would never suffer for hunger. The lioness turned away and started back on her path along the borders, stopping to claw a tree here, or rub on a rock there. After the first lion just after her claim had wandered in unannounced, Jewel wasn't pleased with the idea that any others could simply wander across where they shouldn't be... //Exit// "speech"
