“I hope so. Vine, the leader of the Mire, believes in claiming women because they are ‘unable to protect themselves’, I wonder how long it will be before he decides he no longer wants a woman leading a pride next door,” she mused to the man, her sharp pink eyes now resting a little more intently on him. Kimagure had already realized it would be to her benefit to be on better terms with the other prides than Vine was, as she felt a struggle was inevitable.

Summer
Summer is in full swing now, with clear skies, warm nights, and ample sunshine! As such, the deserts begin to grow dry, the shores remain a blissful escape, the north is spared with cooling winds, and humidity continues to rise in the jungle. Rain and storms are long forgotten troubles by now, which is both a virtue and a vice during the heat of the season.

Kimagure Stagner
A beating heart of stone...
It more often then not seemed Kimagure was the only lion she knew who had no one from her past to show for her efforts. Kimagure had no aunts or uncles to rely upon, no mother or father. She had no siblings left. If there were a leader of her family, it would have to be her. There was only Tamotsu as a blood relative of her line. Perhaps it was time to change that. Kimagure had drifted off, but brought herself back to attention when @Magnus began to tell her of his own history, then finished by claiming he wouldn’t want to fight her.
“I hope so. Vine, the leader of the Mire, believes in claiming women because they are ‘unable to protect themselves’, I wonder how long it will be before he decides he no longer wants a woman leading a pride next door,” she mused to the man, her sharp pink eyes now resting a little more intently on him. Kimagure Stagner
A beating heart of stone...
Kimagure's eyes had returned to the waterfall when Magnus began to speak, and they did not leave it until the dark man suggested she evict the scarlet neighbor she found distasteful. It was then that her eyes fell back to him and in spite herself, an amused smiled curled on her lips. "I would be happy to see him go, especially in favor of someone I can see eye to eye with," she replied easily, but there was an undertone to her voice that suggested the truth. She was not yet ready to reveal her true intentions to him, though it seemed they at least thought alike in that regard. "I think that it would be naive to think that Vine or a member of his family will let things lie forever. The Mire is a territory almost no one would want, while the Rainforest is arguably one of the best in the entirety of Amaryllis. Add that to the fact that they think so little of women and I would be a fool to think they will not at least try," the sovereign continued, until she noticed the look in his eyes. At that her brows craned and she was unsure of what to make of it, so she fell silent and stared at him. As she studied his expression, she began to get an inkling of what it meant.

Kimagure Stagner
A beating heart of stone...
Magnus suggested they would soon learn exactly how many Casimir there were, and perhaps they would... or perhaps they would remain hidden and explode from the woodwork like a disturbed ants' nest. "Perhaps, but it's hard to say if it will be easily evident or kept under wraps," she replied, sighing. Kimagure just wanted to be left to her own devices, but there was always something to worry over. There was always some barely concealed threat.
"I am never idle, not for long... but it's about time I returned home. Vine's pride may be a fledging one, but so is mine, and it will not grow in my absence," she remarked to him, giving him a nod. She turned and began to walk away, but cast a glance over her shoulder at him. "Perhaps we shall speak again soon?" she replied, a question in her tone. Raising her brows, she would keep her eyes on him for a moment before she turned away again and began the journey home.
