can he not see? skarde owns this bitch. i fought for her, and i won fair and square, he spits in the golden-maned lion's direction, ears flattened but not from fear. rage. hate. domination. yes, this rat wouldn't be allowed to scuttle away rent-free. not at all. skarde will put a few nicks in his flesh before he allows that to happen. she's mine! he yowls in a crazed and manic roar. all mine! MINE! skarde doesn't like when the possession of his things are questioned. sassa was his as well. she slipped through his claws, but never again. he knows better now, and metzli - as ugly as she is - is his first successful capture in this new land. will this brute snatch her from him? fat chance.

in a way, skarde feels he is protecting his recent catch. he stands in front of metzli, chest puffed and mane blowing passionately in the wind. he looks like a charicature of some hero, a rogue warrior come to save the day. save her. is he really as evil as everyone says, or is his heart in the right place? maybe he gets a bit crazy from time to time, but skarde wouldn't hurt metzli, at least... not as he defines it. a clawed slap here, a nip there, that's... normal master behavior, is it not? she is his servant; it is her responsibility to stay in her place and mind him. does this challenging bastard not see it is not skarde's place to go against the natural order of things?

vasilis reaches out, snatching the wartorn hero of his own story. skarde snarls, feeling the claws graze against his shoulder, slicing but not deep enough for the muscles under his skin to seize and spasm. ha! sneers skarde. some king you are. you better watch out - after i kill you, i might as well take your whole pride with me! skarde knows he is not putting his best paw forward. wooing metzli was his goal, but... in the face of a fight, he must use every battle strategy known, and this includes hateful and spiteful vernacular.

skarde's forced back a step, haunches digging hard into the ground below so he isn't shoved off balance. there's blood draining down his fur, nearly invisible against dark-brown peltage. gray eyes narrow, pupils becoming pins rather than large, rage-filled saucers. she's mine to fuck and to love! i won her! i won, not you! the innocent, battered child within skarde is unleashed, as he throws his tantrum straight at vasilis. the beast yowls for all to hear, spinning his inner tale into one of superiority and wisdom; rescuing his maiden, defending her honor, and his chance at true love.

rushing vasilis, he halts abruptly and rears up on hind feet, arms outstretched like a bear with jaws wide open. his ears do not portray a frame of fear, for they are upright and alert, giving him an antagonistic and vengeful act to the scene which he commands. he swipes left, he swipes right, applying his standard blitzkreig strategy of scratching either side of vasilis' face, not caring if he hits the cheek or the eye, the muzzle or the ear. all is the same to skarde. he will blind his opponent with pain, before making the deathblow.

The man started to yell at him, to yell about Metzli. He couldn't see her so he had assumed she stepped away. Snapping his jaws at the air - ears zoning in on the white noise that would sub come to his mind. He told himself it would be better to ignore the man's tantrum over his actions, out of mind out of sight sorta deal. Vasilis's paw sought the purchase of skin and oh boy did it hit the man. There surely would be some tension and bruising in his paws tonight. The feeling dragging under his nails oddly satisfied the golden king. Yes!

Pressing his paw down as the man then steps back and rears up like a bear. Vasilis rolls his shoulders back, neck outstretched, sneer closed shut and eyes squinted. Ears flow back to protect their tips, but also to muffle the sound a bit. 'she's mine to fuck and to love! I won her! I won, not you're Wrong, wrong, and wrong again. The golden king let his left arm drop to the ground. now keeping his head ducked as right and left paw swung at him. Skarde's right paw swipes and tangles into his golden mane for just a moment, causing a sting and would be tender bruise by tomorrow for sure.

Then he waits, and at the right moment, He dashes forward to slam his body into the unknown male's chest/gut location. He aims to blow all air from his lungs, to make him fall. Head turns and shoulder peaks to help shove the man on his back, toes turn to help propel him to his desire. A snarl leaves his head as mild disorientation occurs. Ears ring, he shoves his legs behind him as he attempts to rock the man off his back legs and straight onto his ass end. Dust flies, growls could be heard across the evening glow. Vasilis was no longer playing! He was out to do what was right, and so he would be sure of it.

When and if the man falls, Vasilis would stand over the dark man. Not entirely atop him but near him as he growls furiously. "She will NEVER be yours again! If I *EVER* see you again, you better watch your back. Because I assure you - I'll remove your damn balls next time!" anger spills, rage enables the bloodthirst in his eyes. He was threatening the man and any man that would treat a woman that way. And Vasilis would be there to make it right. Jaws snapped, agitation high as it rocks him back away from the fallen man. He moved to where the frozen Metzli's stood as he sheltered her body with his. "you will NEVER see this woman again, You may never TOUCH this woman or any woman again. If I find out - your balls are fucking mine!" He snaps, rage bubbling inside his body, he raises to his toes a moment to make himself seem large and show she he meant true to his threat. He was not going to let this happen ever again. "You should better go back to whatever hellhole you came out of because I swear." if his eyes could throw daggers, they would.

He won, he won his challenge to protect her, his chest felt as if wings were taking him into the air. Adrenaline rose as he stood back, watching the now failed man before him. He turns and keeps steady near her, the tension in his left paw pulsating, the sounds slightly muted in his ears. Panting from the anger, not the fight as he moved to walk away. He would be damn sure Metzli was well taken care of from this day forth. Along with ANY other woman who was treated the same way. He turns to her, trying to calm down and be less threatening "Come on @Metzli - your safe now." He wanted nothing more to do with this jack ass. This dumb soulless being. If he ever saw him again, he was sure as hellfire going to make the man regret it.

Vasilis exits with Metzli to the Lagoon

skarde has never felt such rage, such... disgust. as the winged warriors of battle jump to his side, he believes - incorrectly - he has the advantage. for a moment, it seems like metzli will be his, and vasilis' potential destruction is imminent. he can see the future, the blood pooling from his opponent, the fear in metzli's voice as she must witness her friend suffer. he will be ruler, victor, leader of all. and after this king is defeated, he will take his pride, and then the entire island. skarde's plans are big - his ferocity unmatched, bloodlust unfulfilled.

his dreams remain that: just dreams. just wishes. just unfulfilled promises on the back of dove's wings captured by a snake.

the perfect battle move misses, and skarde feels the world swept out from under him. he cries helplessly as he crashes into the ground, lungs punctured and void of air. his vision speckled in black, the massive brute crumples to the ground. his chin hits the earth so hard he feels his skull rattle. and below vasilis, the vicious cunt is able to hiss threats in his ear, knowing skarde has no recourse. there isn't enough room to stand, and his muscles feel more lifeless than he'll care to admit.

the sand-shaded asshole steps back, and as he fears, metzli is to go with him. skarde stumbles to his paws, enraged at having a bride stolen by him - he stole her first! isn't skarde the thief, after all? i'll have YOUR dick for this! he leers, prepared to chase after the duo but finding his paws unsteady. his vision blurry, world spinning, he's only able to hiss out threats and hatred. you may have my bitch, but make no mistake - i won't forget this! i'm coming for you. and i will kill you, and her, and everyone else in your fucking little fuck-party of a family! but they are too far, and skarde's threats are empty for now. he stands, shaking in fury, as he lets out a scream of defeat and despair.
