The trek here had been unbelievably difficult. When the shit hit the fan back at home, Laraila hadn't been there. She had been out and about like usual. Exploring and learning. And by the time she had made her way back to the jungle, no one had been home. Now she absolutely refused to believe that she had been left behind. At least on purpose. Things had taken such a nasty turn so quickly and she couldn't blame her pride for dipping as soon as they were able. It would have been unfair of her to expect them all to wait around for her and risk their own lives. Especially if they had no idea where she was or if she was okay. For all they knew, the girl could have been dead! Well she wasn't dead. Not fully. The poor thing looked skeletal though. She looked like Death itself. Laraila was tired, burned out and oh so hungry. All of which had played a roll in her stupid decision to steal food from another. Stupid indeed! What would her mother think?? Lara wasn't a thief. She was a good soul but damn she was hungry. And after stumbling upon a rouge lioness with a fresh kill.. Well it was enough to drive one to do stupid things... When the lioness had been grooming herself, Laraila had gotten far too ballsy and crept up to snag a bite or two. In the open. In broad daylight! With full lack of discretion. Maybe the girl just thought this lioness would take pity and allow the adolescent a taste. Stupid. Moronic really. The stranger had, in full right, turned on Laraila faster than you could say Jack Robinson. The pale girl let out a desperate yowl for help. For mercy. But oh no. Oh no. Oh no no no no n o. Luck wasn't on her side and the dice had spoken. Low was your roll Laraila. a call for help! has never interested him. others, he knew, would jump at the chance to dash in and save the day - but there is only a minor, muted flutter of emotion in his chest at the sound. at most, it is an inconvenience; at best, it's something to keep him occupied out here in the passage. the scuffle is easy to find since the passage has quieted: it seems they're scrapping over food, of all things. a young lioness seems to be the victim (or at least she was playing the part), and rameses is happy to lurk until he realizes something. she is familiar. she is -

immediately the boy is dumb-struck by this realization; he hadn't seen the girl since before fleeing the valley. he'd assumed she'd come along with the rest of them - and she had, apparently. his pause is minor but evident, before rushing forward to happily insert himself square into her business. "leave her alone!" he snarls, despite knowing full well that he was hardly intimidating. but he couldn't simply sit back and watch, not anymore. and maybe, just maybe, he did fancy himself a knight - if only for @laraila's sake.

A bite of food and some peace and quiet was all that the clay woman wanted. She had managed to score herself a decent meal but it seemed the moment she had her back turned some ungrateful little adolescent wanted to try and steal some for herself. If anyone knew Georgia they knew that she did not share and she wasn't necessarily a pleasant individual to deal with in the first place. She turned on the rose hued girl, claws unsheathed and teeth bared as she lurched after her, long limbs taking up the ground with ease beneath her. She was a predator and this girl had now become her prey. Her screech for mercy fell upon deaf ears as Georgia snapped at her left rear leg, let her hobble for awhile, perhaps it would leave a lasting impression and remind her to stay away from other's meals. Georgia would have let things alone there, that is until a young voice snarled, "leave her alone!" Oh how cute, she had a savior! Georgia rolled her eyes at the boy, all puffed up and 'brave.' But perhaps she could teach two adolescents here today. Squaring her shoulders Georgia turned her full attention on the boy, lurching forwards to go barreling towards him. The woman intended on slamming her chest directly into his, hoping she would be lucky enough to send him reeling. She could careless if it bruised her own chest in the process, Georgia just loved throwing her weight around. Nope. Yup. She deserved this. She knew she did but jeez! It was only one nibble! I'm sorry! The girl managed to cry out, not even offering to defend herself. The red lioness was already mad enough as is, why would she risk pissing her off even further by slapping her?! Laraila may have been dumb in the moment but she didn't have a death wish! Pain flared from her left hind leg. The woman's teeth tearing open the flesh and staining the girl's pastel fur with blood. Laraila cried out, pulling her injury close to her body as she fell onto her back. The older lioness descending upon her but before any more damage could be done, a voice rang out and caused them both to pause. Her minty gaze glistened from fresh tears, trying to focus on the one who tried to save her. And through the panic shone realization. Laraila's stomach fluttered before it flipped and she thought she might get sick as her assailant turned her wrath to Rameses. No, don't! Pulling forward to try and snag the woman and redirect her attention once more but it was too late. Laraila's grappling missed its mark. And she didn't know how to help her friend passed that. Lara had no idea how to fight. She was by no means a brawler. Did Rameses even know how to fight? She hadn't a clue. And the gash on her inner leg was deep enough to see the fat beneath the skin. It seared viciously and how could she hold her own with a newly bum leg? So instead she did the only thing she could. She called out. Rang an alarm bell. Hoping, preying that someone might answer her and teach this woman to pick on those her own size. @Rameses @Georgia Can be skipped while you guys match!

deep down, rameses knew better than to hope his incensed demand would actually do anything. still it's infuriating that georgia does not stand down and instead she turns towards him. but that's fine - it's better than her going after lara. small mercies, he thinks, before he thinks of little else besides instinct. georgia barrels towards him and rameses lets her, only realizing that he should do something about it a moment or two before it's too late. ram does his best to side-step her charge, taking a small step to his left just before their chests collide. it puts him at more of an angle, but still she hits. georgia is larger than him and #thiccer still and the collusion is far more solid than he had ever expected. the collusion knocks the air from his chest and forces him to stumble another step to the left, pain bubbling up from where her chest hit his. the boy was happy to let the pain, knife-sharp, help fuel his movements as he snarls.

claws unsheathe, his left paw digging into the ground below to help steady himself while he raises his right arm. with the same, fluid motion of raising his arm he shoves it forward, aiming for the area between her front legs just below her chest - attempting to rake his claws in the skin there. as he did so, ram jerks his muzzle forward - jaws snapping in an attempt to latch onto the right side of her face, specifically aiming for the lower-most portion of her cheek. he's careful to keep his eyes narrowed and ears pinned backward, into his barely-there mane. she is bigger than him, heavier than him, but it does not matter. all that mattered was getting her away from lara - and anything else was simply a side effect.

This was all fun and games to Georgia. Did she care that she was fighting children? Absolutely not. It was clear that no one had taught them any manners, at least when she was her age she knew when to pick and choose her fights and how to be smart about things when she attempted to steal food. She had survived on her own just fine before Ifrit had claimed her, if anything those days alone had shaped her into the individual she was today. Which meant unfortunately for them she did not have emotions in this matter. This was simply teaching them a life lesson; pick and choose your battles wisely. She hadn't made direct contact with the boy but it was still enough to force him to take a step towards his left. Unlike most individuals however Georgia didn't run from pain. Instead she moved even closer to the boy, even as his claws raked down her chest, immediately causing incisions and blood to pool to the surface. Of course it stung, but it only fueled Georgia's fire. In retaliation she swung her large front forepaw outward, intent on hooking Rameses by his right armpit if she could be fortunate enough to do so. Even if she didn't her claws sought to dig into his flesh. This didn't go without consequence however. The boy latched onto the right side of her face like a leech, earning a blood-thirsty snarl from Georgia. Her ears pinned and eyes narrowed before she shoved her weight forwards, hoping to bully the boy backwards with her forward momentum. even after their collusion - the effects of which bloom on his chest, the skin already tender and bruised - she keeps pushing forward, unrelenting. rameses snarls as he is manhandled, a wave breaking against her rocks. if he was just a bit older, a bit stronger.... then things might have been different. but alas, he is not, and georgia's weight is happily used against him. his claws find their target and blood fills the small space between them, fresh and metallic - nothing like the decaying smell of prey that had driven laraila to thievery. it is heady and sickening in the same breath, and rameses does his best to proceed - to push his luck a little further. her paw raises and he can do little to avoid the way she swings it in his direction, grabbing him by the right armpit. her claws dig into the stretchy skin there and he snarls through the sudden (and blinding) pain, gritting his jaw so tight that it aches. hoping to use his left paw's momentum on the downswing, he attempts to grapple at georgia's arm (the one that's raised and hurting him). his intention is to sink his claws into her flesh while she has the arm raised and extended, attempting to aim for her inner wrist. as he does this, he does his best to slink back a step, leaning to his left - hoping that she will have to lean forward to keep her grip on his armpit. she leaves him little room to work or operate with the way she keeps pressing forward but he does his best to remain as firm as he can, darkened tail lashing at his ankles and swaying wildly for balance. his jaws, fortunately, find their target - latching onto her right cheek - and he does not want to let go. instead he attempts to keep the hold before jerking his muzzle to the right - hoping to take a piece with him.

She's fully invested in this little spar now, in fact it was bringing her back to her younger days when she had stood up to a full blown lioness or well .. grandma in her eyes then. She had to hand it to this boy, he had guts to jump into a full blown battle for his little pet. By now the thick metallic smell of blood enveloped them, providing somewhat of a haze around the two of them. Georgia felt her claws sink into the tender flesh of Rameses' armpit, right where she intended, and instead of letting go she held on. Even as he moved she decidedly moved with him instead of against him despite the now searing pain in her chest from his claws previous puncture. A growl was uttered when his claws grabbed hold of her inner wrist, gripping the flesh there and providing decent indentations. He had a good hold on her face, but that would change. Wrenching her head to the left she literally hoped to rip her cheek from his grasp and in doing so, creating a decent wound for herself. She didn't retreat though, no instead her teeth hungrily lashed out as she snapped at the right side of his face, aiming to shred a portion of his own cheek if she was able to grab hold. She didn't want to leave the boy in tatters though, despite how much fun she was having, and reluctantly released him just as quickly as she obtained hold of him. Georgia backed up then, a low growl echoing from her lips as the blood continued to spill from the wounds on her chest and now her face as well, "Appears you got guts kid.. if you ever wanna tango again come find me.. I can teach you a few things. And you, don't ever touch my food again or that leg will only be a hint at what else would be to come." She directed towards his little girlfriend, pinning them both in her mismatched gaze. Georgia was irritated yes, but this boy had proven he could hold his own, against a full grown lioness none the less. It left an impression on her, which wasn't easily done, she would remember him for future reference in case their paths happened to cross again. pain shoots through him, a zing! that he feels from the tip of his nose all the way to his toes. her claws sink further into his armpit, keeping her hold and pushing, effectively deepening the wound. he could feel his own blood ooze from it, the sensation both alien and electrifying. his determination is rewarded, though: he manages to flex his claws into her wrist - certainly not a hold, but blood wells beneath his claws all the same. a short-lived and shallow victory, but rameses will take what he can get. he aims to continue this attack as he moves to place it back onto the ground: attempting to claw at her wrist more as his paw returns to the ground. despite his intention to latch onto her face and never let go, he is far too weak to truly keep the hold. when georgia jerks her head to the side, his jaws slip open and she escapes - surely with far less carnage than she'd been expecting (hoping?). the loss causes a growl to rise in his bruised chest, thrumming with both anger and adrenaline. he's nearly jittery with it, and almost shakes with the effort to keep on his feet - to hold firm and fast, a shield for laraila. maybe that's why he doesn't really see her next attack coming. georgia's jaws snap effectively, tearing into his right cheek in retribution. almost out of surprise rameses attempts to jerk his skull - but instead of away, he seeks to shove forward. almost a headbutt, but the angle isn't quite there. fortunately for him, it is then that she relents. no, she does not relent for this was not his victory. he is at her mercy as she releases him - leaving him hurt and bleeding, but ultimately in one piece. his chest heaves, a little shell-shocked, as his ears ring - orange eyes never leaving georgia, not trusting her one bit.

The sounds of a scuffle were what drew him in, he watched as three unknown faces were locked into a strange scuffle. The male and the older woman were at each other as the youngest one stood off by the sidelines. The golden king would silently make his way up to @Larlaila's now open side as he watched the quick fight unfold. "Are you alright?!" he asked the child before him - what was this all over, food?! Huffing and looking over the two who fought and the scared child - Vasilis would hum.

When Georgia started to leave, The man would head to @Rameses with worry. " Show me your wounds, quick about it now!" he said hushed. OOf they looked like they were going to hurt. Sighing as he looked at the retreating body of the Hollow member he turned back to the girl. This was something so unnecessary but what happened happened. And all he could do now was to help the rogues to the best of his abilities.
