There was no denying that the sandy woman was a much happier lioness when she was in the midst of a brawl. Her blood didn't quite pump or yearn for anything except the art of a good fight, so it was without much surprise that she paced the Grove for a while before calling for another to attempt to best her skills. Truthfully, she could have found someone within the Lagoon that might want to test their might against her but she wanted something from outside. Someone to invigorate her bold and vibrant desire to feel the burn of pain of the wounds inflicted and those obtained. So Maude slid into her own position, tufted ears flickering at each sound as she kept herself alert and prepared for the arrival she was hoping for.

He was always down for a little spar. To best his skills against another and see where he stood when it came to things. So it was no accident when he heard the call from another in the Grove seeking out a partner to spar with. Though the Grove was probably not the most ideal of places to have a fight, Drakon still made his way through the undergrowth to where a woman stood smelling of the Lagoon. Ears twisting on his head when he came into view and Drakon would nod towards her. "You called so you get first try." He would state as he got ready to defend himself.

Any place was a good place to fight as long as you were willing to put in the work to figure out how to work in your favor. So the Grove wasn't likely the first pick for anyone but it was going to be her pick because she was here and it was different. So as @Drakon approached she looked him over and took a vague notice of his posture, the way he walked, the way he positioned himself. What a gentleman, she thought with a smirk as she nodded her head. Lowering her legs to the ground and launching herself forward, right shoulder pushed forward to attempt to slam it against his chest for bruising and perhaps to get him a little winded. As the first move with her first fight against him, he was certain to brace for the attack if he knew how to breathe correct to do so. Otherwise, it was a starter and it paved the way for the rest.

There was silence between them as she would begin to charge towards him. Legs bent at their joints, Drakon would attempt to slide himself towards his own left so that her right shoulder would connect closer towards the right side of his chest and cause major bruising. He had taken a breathe in when it came close to the impact and was able to breathe correctly but it hurt and the pain was there before slowly fading as he would growl. Ears flatting into his mane as he would attempt to reach around her right side with his jaws open and attempt to grab at her right upper leg, aiming for right above the armpit as he would also attempt to crush her right toes with his right claws (in my head that's the closest one to her lol).

Perhaps it was simply in her nature to mimic the other opponent but in the heat of it all, she had no choice. @Drakon leaned more to her right and lunged his head forward and jaws grappled to her right upper leg. Sinking in to create some gnarly puncture wounds. A throaty growl coming from her throat and growing louder as he stepped upon her own right paw, claws extended to create even more wounds. Maude pushed her head forward and attempted to grab a hold of his own right foreleg, just at the armpit as he had done her. Though, she refrained from attempting to crush his toes -- she wasn't quite ready to go for those. Mimicry was easy but she didn't want to copy his exact movements. She just needed enough leeway to make her own unique moves.

Teeth met flesh on both ends. Both his own and on her's. Teeth punctured his upper leg near his left armpit and he knew that the blood would stain his white elbow before turning dark. It didn't matter as he felt his claws meet toes. Good. Shoulders shuffled slightly as Drakon would begin to think about what he could do next and instantly thought about it. Shifting his weight more onto his left side, Drakon would attempt to throw his head up with her leg and aim to throw her off balance by also attempting to throw some of his weight with his left shoulder towards her neck.

Perhaps she should have dug her claws into his paw but it was far too late. As she could feel his head pulling upwards and her balance instantly shifting. His teeth pulling skin and her right leg as it departed from the ground. As she lost that balance, her teeth attempted to grip far harder on his own right armpit; if she was going down, then she wasn't going to go down easy. Legs giving away beneath her as the sting of teeth ripping into her right leg as she continued to fall. There was very little that she could do in retaliation but she would learn from this. Perhaps, even ask should he be willing to divulge.

She went down and so did he. However, Drakon would let go of her leg as he would aim to bend with her. A growl forming as he felt teeth dig deeper into his armpit and just cause deeper puncture wounds. Well, he was never one to go ease on someone regardless of who they were. It wasn't in his nature to go ease so here they were. Now, Drakon didn't want to crush the girl so he would attempt to pull himself away from her by going towards his right. He knew damn well that this would just cause more damage to his armpit but it would be worth it so that he would crush her beneath his weight.

The tear in her armpit was enough to warrant quite a lot of frustration though for the moment, her focus was entirely on the gigantic weight that was suddenly placed on her. While she had done quite a good bit of damage to him, it was @Drakon who was suddenly toppled on her. Forcing out a harsh breath as she pushed out a Get off, with a roll of her eyes as she attempted to shove him with what residual strength she still had left in her body and legs. Not wishing to be absolutely crushed by his fat ass but also knowing that she had ended up doing a lot more damage to him.
Once she could feel his weight being taken off of her she managed to come to a sit, feeling the ache in her armpit and feeling the blood that dripped and was dripping down the fur on her leg. Tell me, if you were in my situation there -- being thrown down like that, what would your move have been? Maude would need some fresh moves if she was going to survive here in Amaryllis and seeing as she wished to impress, asking someone on a friendly platform was the best way to do so. Unless he didn't wish to give trade secrets but seeing as there was no alliance nor enemy made out of them she didn't see why not.
